The main reason for the one is for dishonesty. And they not ready for prime time food pick up. I recently did my first on line pick up order for ice cream, soda and meat pies. It was my first and last on line order from Albertsons. First they place three two litter bottles in each double bags. Yes, they broke of course. Then some of the stuff in there that wasn't even mine. I'm very honest so I brought it back. I ordered two thrifty ice creams that were on Friday sale. I ordered it. They only had one of the two and I ordered two on Friday, but they did not tell me that if I pick it up Saturday, even though I ordered it on Friday, I would not get the sale price. I asked the supervisor cashier in front is there a manager I can talk to. He said there is no manager there right now. This was on a Saturday about 1 o'clock. BS This is a good reason not to use there on line order or store. Lack of information, lack of honesty. read more

Two stars for the produce section, but the checkout process here is absolutely awful. There is always just 1 lane open, and there's 2 employees who are unreasonably slow at the checkout stand and they are almost always on duty. Self checkout with a cart full of items is miserable. I try not to shop here when I'm in a hurry because checking out WILL take far longer than at any other store in the area. read more

Today I walked back to the meat department as I do about 3 times a week to get ground beef to learn they no longer ground it in house, it was brown and tired looking. Have stopped by only a couple times, but the aisles are always fully stocked and the store is clean. It is easy to find whatever items I need. The other week, I was craving Albertsons' chocolate chip cookies (from the bakery), childhood nostalgia (different Albertsons location from where I grew up but since I was in the area), so I stopped by to grab a package. I was able to locate the bakery as soon as I entered the store and was surprised to see the variation of freshly baked cookies that Albertsons has to offer. I do suggest making sure to check the "sell by" date on a few packages before purchasing because some packages may be out a few days while others are "fresher." Since I only had a box of cookies, I utilized the self checkout feature and was soon on my way. There was plenty of parking and will most definitely return when I am in the area. read more

Albertson's Market on Whittier/Beach Blvd does not have any lines to get in. They have 2 employees cleaning the shopping carts after every customer.The parking lot was pretty busy but it was before Mother's Day. Their produce section is well stocked with produce, however they don't have any papayas which is on my weekly shoppinpg llist. I came in to get some vegetables. Their produce selection is smaller than their competitors. Their logo is 3 is a crow. However, I had to wait in line for longer than usual. I would really appreciate if they have more and lines open and more cashiers to keep the line moving but not at this Albertson's. Expect to wait a little longer to check The interior design of the store wasn't outstanding in any noticeable way. Gets the job done, mainly. Cleanliness was high. The main reason I am giving 4 stars is that the employees I encountered were as helpful as they can be during trying times. I stopped by placed order for a Saturday pick up. The cake was a photo with colors chosen by myself with light blue border. It was 1/4 sheet white cake with fresh strawberry & bananas to feed 20. We had three slices left. Everyone at 80th birthday was impressed with design, taste , and a hit at birthday celebration. The cake was ready at suggested pick up time. The deli people are rude and don't even say hello as they greet you. Ordered chicken for 330 arrived at 330 and they didn't even have it made. I saw the order sloppily written on a spiral notebook. These people are old and miserable. The lady walked up to the counter and just looked at me. No hello or anything. I won't be back. Was at this store this evening at around 8:30, saw a supervisor & other workers being very disrespectful toward a female customer who was trying to use the self checkout. She was obviously having trouble & rather than leaving their own private giggling conversation to go help her, the supervisor scolded her across over 20 feet of space, about how " loud " she was being & told her to essentially be patient with the machine. She called them on their behavior saying it was obvious she needed help & they were doing nothing. It still wasn't enough to make them wake up & be of service. So when she finally did leave, cussing as she left, these employees laughed at her saying things like " oh wow " . Very disrespectful & disturbing- this isn't high school. Without our customers we have no business. Plus on a simply human level it was just wrong. I hope she complains. read more

I love shopping at this location. Customer service has always been outstanding! Unfortunately I experienced the most uncomfortable encounter today with (I believe- may be wrong) an employee from either the deli or bakery section. She walked into the restroom as I was on my way out. She let the door close on my baby's stroller, complained that the restroom was a mess, cornered herself with her hands up (as in trying to avoid close contact with me and my babies) and on my way out yelled "are you kidding me?!" Because there were seat covers on the floor. I'm guessing she was blaming me for them and the behavior felt very RACIST. DO BETTER ALBERTSONS! That behavior is sickening. Old white lady employee, if you don't like seeing a dirty restroom at your workplace maybe you should clean them. I was really disappointed on how customer service was at the deli counter. I only come into this Albertsons for sugar free creamer because Grocery Outlet doesn't have the flavor I prefer. I stopped at the deli counter and decided to order the dark meat fried chicken. The lady said they only had mixed. I looked down and saw that they had ample dark pieces and again she reminded me they only had mix very rudely. No other option for me to wait while she cooked more. Broken Carts. Tried all 5 carts at one entrance. Wheels not turning. Tried 4 carts. All seamed broken. Then realized a brake had been added. Confirmed with cashier that this was to keep homeless from stealing carts. Since I'm recovering from a knee injury and need the cart I'll have to go elsewhere. This is our favorite grocery store to shop at. 1. Ample parking and shopping carts are safely put away so no scratches or bangs on your car. 2. Staff is super friendly and they remember us every time. The work as a team and are always happy to work there. 3. They follow COVID-19 guidelines to the T. 4. Everything is fresh: meat, poultry, veggies, fruit. We get the best avocados from here. Not to mention the baguettes are scrumptious and tasty! Overall, it's always a quick grab n go. There really isn't anything to dislike about this place. I love the weekly ads with good Coke brand soda deals, fresh lamb shoulders for a good price and special ad coupons for cheap ribeye sales. Easy parking, clean store, well stocked shelves, nice associates, efficient service and good deals :) I will continue to frequent this location. read more

One of the nicest Albertsons I've ever been in. This used to be my go-to grocery store when I lived near here and I think I took for granted how really nice and big it is!! I agree that Albertsons (as a whole) is a bit more expensive when it comes to their prices but it is what it is. And, honestly, you really do get what you pay for. Store employees in La Habra are the same faces over and over for years, that says something wonderful about this store in particular! I can be gone from it for months or over a year and I come back to the same fresh friendly faces. Albertsons (as a whole) also carries CHOICE meats compared to other stores (example: Stater Brothers is known for its great meat prices but they aren't Choice, they are Select which isn't as high quality). I was explained this by the meat department guy at this Albertsons and also researched it online myself to confirm. The guys in the meat department here are really helpful and fantastic. I love when Daniel (bald, tattooed dude) is behind the counter, he's always a helpful and fantastic guy to work with (although I think he works at various Albertsons... he's just my favorite is all) The bakery department is always chock full of wonderful items and never disappoints when coming in for a sweet treat. The Alcohol selection is HUGE too and laid out in an appealing and clean way. Easy to find and offers some great deals and sales. Produce is always organized and maintained. Lots of pre-packaged salad selection, which I like. More choices on produce items than Vons and WAY fresher than Ralphs (where I typically shop, close to home). This location is very large and always really clean and well stocked. Parking is easy and plenty of spots. I am a little disappointed that they removed the self-checkout stands, but honestly the wait in line is never really that long and they open quickly when needed... or so it seems. My Grandma loves to ride her scooter all the way across town to this location too, she loves how friendly they are and helpful to her when she needs certain items or can't reach from her scooter. That says a lot when a woman in her 90s will scooter herself a couple miles to go to a store where she feels welcome and comfortable. She does live closer to 2 other stores in town, but chooses this one. Just a quick little plug there. I miss living by this Albertsons but when I can (and have the need) I do stop in and always feel at home and happy to be shopping in such a great store! Thank you La Habra Albertsons!! Ran in to this location to grab some items for a holiday bake night with some girlfriends. This store was clean, easy to maneuver, and the cashier was really friendly. They have a lot of great grab and go selections for hosting events, quick meals, or meal prepping. For example, they have fresh cut fruit platters, prepped veggie platters, stew vegetables, etc. There is a large parking lot in front but beware of the delicious smell lingering over from In-n-Out across the street. It will get you every time! read more

The meat counter used to be pretty cool and I will say that Lupe, I think I have that right, is awesome. There is another butcher that is very poor with customer service and I will not use them again. There is another cool kid with earrings that is really good guy and I commend him for his service. I would like to commend Kristina who works in the bakery at the La Habra store. She directed me to the cake decorting aisle to locate nonpareils for a cake I was decorating, I returned to the counter to ask for help because I could not locate it. She had her purse in hand, ready to leave, but she went back to the bakery to further assist me. In a few minutes she solved my problem. Tried to ask about getting refunded but the manager who was also rude was "too busy" to assist. Tried calling back to ask for the store director's number and was placed on hold for over 20 minutes and still no response. This review is for Starbucks located inside. Its Sunday 6:47pm I went to go order the female not sure her name she has highlights but second time I come she has an excuse to serve us. Today I went in it's 647 pm and she said sorry I'm going on my break . Like really smh but mean while she's wash up the stuff to leave but they close at 8 pm . Last time I came same girl highlights it was 720 she's like sorry we are closed so I said ok and left but that's when I noticed they close at 8 so I went back to ask her what time do they close so that's when she got an attitude and said I could only make refreshers but she's was already closing washing all the stuff already so I ended up just getting to cake pops and a cookie and she's like sorry everything is off so I can't warm up ur cookie . I have to say the last few times we've come to this Albertson's location of La Habra off of Beach and Whittier Boulevard we have received nothing but excellent customer service even though there's a grocery store near my area. I Purchased the ground sirloin twice now and it has been nothing but fresh and delicious. The team associates here are very helpful if there something you're looking for they go out of the way to make sure they take care of you and you find what you need. I do recommend this location plus the sales tax is cheaper in this area it's Orange County. I highly make a recommend this Albertsons location in La Habra. read more

What a mess! Enough with the remodel. This has been going on for a year and there is no end in sight. They took out some isles and now there are fewer products and less inventory. Every time I'm in the store there are several shoppers looking as lost as I am. So let's add this up: *Store torn up for a year. *Rearrange the place so we can't find anything. *Reduce the selection. *Reduce the numbers of an item, so they run out. Adds up to lost customers. This was a disgusting thing. The men's restroom sink is not working. It's wrapped in a black trash bag. I saw 2 employees use the restroom and unable to wash their hands after.
