Got a manicure and pedicure. They work a little messily- I still had polish all over my hands when I left. I don't recommend getting a design- I was surprised by the price ($40) up from a regular gel ($25) manicure alone. I did not love the design. I would not pay $40 for this quality, sorry. Tina was nice though.

Close to home so I tried them out, immediately attended me and got me started. Very nice atmosphere and the staff working on me were very sweet. They had a customer who was unsatisfied but handled it properly and professionally! I just wanted something cute and simple for a dinner date and the man working on my toes delivered!!! I'm so used to getting what I don't want this feels like winning the lottery! And great price for the services. I'll definitely be coming back for more!

An older man did my nails. They tried to convince me at first to do acrylic but now I know why. It was probably his first time attempting Gel X. I don't have a picture of before these since a lady "tired" fixing them since they were worst. I started a new job with these UGLY nails. You tell me? A few days later, I had them removed on a Tuesday since they are closed on Monday. They insisted they were "beautiful." They asked if I wanted acrylic, again. I just wanted them OFF and they were causing pain on my nail beds! At the end they said "no refunds, we can give you a discount next time," I then asked for a partial refund and they said "no refunds, okay next time free for you. I have a girl that works weekends and she can so nice for you." And I did speak up doing the process of getting my nails done. read more

I come here twice a month to get my hair and nails done and the girls here are amazing, Liz works on my nails and Shela works on my hair color. I usually call before I come to the shop and they have my Vietnamese coffee ready. On January 8th, I went into 79 Nails and Hair to get a manicure. This was only my second time at their establishment. The nail job was okay, but what what pissed me off was the young guy that was doing my nails was obviously sick. Although he was wearing a mask, he SHOULD NOT have been working in a close face to face environment with the public. Now, before he even started my nails I noticed he was sick and asked him directly, "dude are you sick?" His response was that he had allergies. I told him thats not allergies you're sick. As he's wiping his nose against his arm and he has my hand i could tell he had fever, because his hands were burning up. Here's the reason I will never go back to them. I asked if they had an extra mask a lady which was this guy's mom gave me a mask that stank and was damp in some spots. I had all kinds of thing going through my mind. Like what should I do? Is this a fresh brand new mask or did she pull it out of a drawer something that maybe someone like this guy was wearing and shoved it into a drawer? Idk, but I don't trust them. Eventually, the mother took over to finish the job which I was relieved, but it was too late. That Monday I had a scratchy throat, and by Tuesday afternoon I was toast. I missed three days of work, because i contracted COVID, because of this knuckle head, and I have to get clearance to go back to work, due to i work in a health care environment. This company didn't consider some of their clientele may have upper respiratory issues such as myself, and now my wife contracted it from me. Can't believe I gave them a tip for getting me sick. I'll never go back. read more

Great place, price, and people! I usually get a gel pedicure and dip manicure from here. Reasonable prices, and provide a quality service each time. I had a bad experience with another nail salon, and I found 79 Nails and Hair to help me fix my issue, and now I regularly go to just them. I appreciate their effort because usually when you get dip nails, the "manicure" aspect of it is nonexistent. But not this place! They cut my cuticles and really make my nail beds look super nice before the dip even goes on. Love my regular nail spot and love supporting a small family business. The dad is a great manicurist, and so are the two sisters! The mom is usually the one that does hair, and they all make a great team. read more

The best salon I've been to I came to visit from San Bernardino and they did my nails toes and my hair! It was AMAZING they did a great service with everything my French tip at the cutest toes and nails. $10 mens haircut is terrible. I have a simple haircut and I even had a picture as a reference for the lady in "chair 3" which is obviously not the owner who I believe works in chair 1. I asked for a high fade and a trim up top.... What I got is a non blended mid fade on one side and a mediocre low fade on the other side.... The top of my head looks like a damn mushroom cloud cut... I have no idea how an Asian hair stylist cutting asian hair with a typical Asian hairstyle can butcher me up this bad.. Yes it's a $10 mens cut but damn man for real?!?! That's what I get for doing a convenience cut next door to my chiro appointment... I've had $10 haircuts closer to home and I've never had it this bad. I'm just trying to help another dude avoid what happened to me. read more

Came here after finding them on Google and wasn't disappointed. I requested an appointment online and the owner replied within minutes. Walked in with my mom and everyone greeted us with a smile. They so us in right away and there was no waiting. All 4 girls in the salon were all very kind and talkative. Usually in salons they try and push unnecessary stuff to do on you. None of the girls here were pushy and only did what me and my mom wanted. Place is super clean and organized. I would recommend 100. For both pedicure &manicure $30. Came here after my friend suggested and i absolutely fell in love with my hair afterward I did a Keratin Leave In Treatment, it took a quite of a time (approx for 1-2 hours depend on how long & thick your hair is) to finish the treatment and it lasted up to 6 months or more. Totally recommended this treatment for any who got hair damaged or breakage after bleached hair. My hair looks completely stronger, healthier and shiny too. Worth the price & time for this treatment. Best customer service with plenty parking in front. read more

Staff is super caring and friendly. My mom, sister and I love coming here to relax and enjoy getting pampered. The guy that usually does my pedicures is just amazing! He is very attentive and makes sure you're comfortable. (I'm sorry I don't know his name ) All the ladies talk to you and make you feel welcomed as well. I had such a wonderful experience getting my nails done in Korea so I wanted to look up a place that offered Korean style nails. I found purrple nails which was conveniently located near me with a staff filled of Korean artists. My first experience was with Soo and she did fine I guess. I like that she was detailed about her design but she did cut my cuticle once and was very rough with drilling. For those who don't know, drilling gets hot and the artist should know to lift it every few seconds to not burn the person's skin. Because I liked the design so much, I made a second appointment to give another artist a try. This second appointment was with Ellen. She was sooo rough when it came down to removing the polish and cleaning and cutting the cuticles. One of my cuticles started bleeding a lot and she just used the dust to stop the bleeding but did not apologize once. I let it go. But after getting home, I noticed my cuticles and fingers were so tender and red. I decided to let time heal but it's been a week and my right thumb is still swollen and tender. It's painful to touch. I told the owner and Ellen and after some back and forth, they finally did apologize. However it left kind of a sour taste in my mouth because it just seemed like they brushed it off thinking 10 percent off the next appointment would really make up for the pain I'm having in my finger. Not sure if I will come back. The owner asked me to try another artist but how do I prevent this from happening a third time?

I received a text coupon from the salon for 15% off any service. My regular manicure and pedicure started off just fine. When I was asked to pay before getting my manicure, I mentioned that I had the coupon. The owner was there, Martha consulted with her, and they asked to see the text to verify the offer--which was completely reasonable. What happened next was not. While I was getting my manicure, Martha was openly discussing the coupon with the owner and another stylist in Vietnamese. The conversation was about how the service wasn't worth her time at 15% off, who was going to absorb the discount, how much she would take home, and how it would be entered into their iPad. She continued making comments about how I "only tip 15%" and that I "sit for hours." First, my tip should not be a topic of discussion among employees while I'm sitting right there. Second, I had just received a manicure and was sitting for approximately 20 minutes afterward to allow my nails to dry before leaving. That is hardly unreasonable. Today, after sitting for about 17 minutes following my manicure ( I was sure to time it), the hairstylist made another comment: "Wow, she sits so long." At that point, I packed up my things. As I walked out, with my 15% tip on the table, the owner said, "Thank you, have a good day." I responded, "I didn't realize it was such a problem to let my nails dry before I leave. I understood everything you guys said." Apparently, sitting for 20 minutes to let a manicure dry is too much to ask. Martha also brought up a comment I had made previously about a price increase. Yes, I did make a comment--and I think it's completely reasonable to be surprised when you are told after your services are completed that the price has increased. Why wasn't the price change communicated when I made the appointment or when I arrived? I wasn't objecting to the increase; I was surprised by the lack of communication. Customers should know the price of a service before it is performed so they can make an informed decision. What bothered me most was being made to feel like I was inconveniencing the salon by using a coupon they themselves sent me. If the salon doesn't want to honor a promotion, they shouldn't send it to customers. I've supported this business for years, but customers deserve to be able to use a legitimate promotion without being made to feel guilty about it--and they certainly deserve to sit quietly while their nails dry without being discussed by the staff. There are plenty of other salons where I can spend my hard-earned money and feel welcomed and respected and you should do the same!

(The whole package was already paid on classpass) Instead of confirming the service with me, the technician proceeded with a different application (what appeared to be Gel-X). Only after the service was completely finished was I informed that there would be an additional $20 charge. At no point before beginning the service was I asked whether I agreed to this additional charge. When I questioned why I had not been informed or given the option to approve the charge beforehand, my concern was essentially ignored. What was especially concerning was that the owner was present and witnessed the interaction but did not step in or address the situation. The overall experience was extremely disorganized and unprofessional, from the appointment check-in to the communication surrounding the service and unexpected charge. I am currently escalating this through the appropriate channels. I also wish I had looked into the reviews more carefully beforehand. There are already multiple people discussing their experiences with this establishment online, including on TikTok. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way. Businesses should not be charging customers unexpected fees after a service has been completed without clearly disclosing and receiving approval for those charges beforehand. I hope the owner takes this seriously and addresses the way customers are being treated. Luckily my situation is being escalated and classpass is investigating.

This time, less than a week after my appointment, two of my nails broke and the color on the others started fading. When I brought this to their attention, their response was very disappointing. They didn't even apologize. Instead, they wanted to charge me an additional $30 just to change the color. When the work doesn't even last a week, I believe the salon should take responsibility rather than ask the customer to pay extra. On top of all that, they charge extra for almost everything, including removing old nails and trimming your nails. Other salons don't charge separately for every little service like this, which makes the overall experience even more frustrating. This isn't the first time I've had a disappointing experience here. I had a similar issue with my eyelash extensions, and their response was just as unprofessional. At the very least, I expected a simple apology for the wasted time and inconvenience of having to come back to get the work fixed. Unfortunately, I won't be returning, and I'll be sharing my experience with others who go here. Good customer service means standing behind your work and treating customers with respect. Sadly, that was not my experience at this salon.
