OK, I literally never write reviews but I was so impressed by my service today with Alexis. I went in for a lymphatic massage and I've never done one before. We had an amazing two hour session where she worked on my face and my body. I was blown away by how well she knew my body, and I could tell that she was very experienced and amazingly skilled. Omg I went in for a lymphatic drainage yesterday and I was bloated and heavy and this morning I woke up so skinny looking. But one thing for sure is you need to partner it with a red light sauna. Normally I only burn anywhere from 120 to 160 cal when I do a red light treatment however yesterday I did almost 331 cal with the lymphatic drainage. I definitely 100% recommend it and I just wanna say that she is the best sweetest person I've ever met in my life and I will definitely be going backplus I've been seeing her for other treatment I honestly wish I had a before picture, but I don't. She can snatch your body, make your skin just absolutely GLOW! she's been waxing me for years and has such a gentle touch!! Just overall an incredible vibe there is in the studio!! There is nothing she can't offer. She does face, body, and lymphatic draining. There is a luxurious sauna and ice bath for afterwards. I came in feeling so much a pain in my shoulders, and slightly hung over from the night before. I am sooo happy I found Alexess! I've been looking for a spot to pamper myself because I'm getting married this year and wanted to start incorporating self care/wellness into my routine. I found Alexess through Yelp/Google and decided to book last minute. Alexess is SO kind and makes you feel very comfortable. She explains exactly what you're getting done and the benefits of it. You can tell she is super experienced and she really cares about her clients! I've gotten a couple treatments done: lymphatic drainage massage, wood therapy, and ice sculpting. All were absolutely amazing and the results were unreal. I looked so snatched and sculpted after each one, and the best part is that the results got even better as days went by (as long as you take care of yourself of course). My favorite one by far was ice sculpting. It's summer, so it feels extra refreshing, but it was life changing. She uses this clay that smells SO good (I chose coffee) and goes in with metal tools to sculpt and massage. It can get cold and a little intense with specific tools but overall, it was not bad at all. I would say wood therapy was more uncomfortable. The results were phenomenal. We took before and afters and it literally looked like I lost 2-4 inches off my waist. I HIGHLY recommend trying ice sculpting!! I felt so detoxed after and my body felt super relaxed. I work out a lot, and I can get quite bloated and my body can feel a bit stressed. I also have a stressful job. Getting treatments done by Alexess is exactly what was missing from my routine. I just had my first wood therapy lymphatic drainage session with Alexess, and it was amazing! She really got into the deep layers of my tissues with her tools, which felt like the best massage I've ever gotten. I felt so grounded and light after the session, and I could feel my body continuing to drain its toxins out for almost a whole day afterward. This review is not necessarily for their services itself, as I still have yet to actually get in with them, but more for their booking/cancellation policy's. I booked an appointment for a Thursday and the morning of my appointment I needed to cancel due to circumstances that were out of my control. I am aware it's stated a 24 hr notice is required, but I figured I would call that morning and let them know ASAP. I had to leave a message as no one answered the call, and even called back 2 hrs before my scheduled appointment time to see if they received my VM(still no answer). The studio did not end up calling me back until my actual appointment time to set up a date for rescheduling. In my voicemail, I stated I would like to use the $30 deposit I put down days prior, toward my new appointment. On the phone, the woman said I would need to submit another $30 deposit if I wanted to reschedule. Unless I misheard, during our first call I never thought the deposit was in regards to their cancellation policy's. I thought this was toward the actual spa service itself and a motivator to avoid complete no call/no shows. I work in reception services and understand that it can be frustrating dealing with last minute cancellations, but I do wish they were a bit more accommodating/understanding on why I needed to reschedule. Not everyone has control over situations that allow a complete 24 hrs prior notice. I really want to book with them but this turned me off a bit. read more
