Many years ago I stopped going to my nearby nail salon when I realized I could do a neater polish job than the "pros". Fast forward, I'm getting older so treated myself to a local salon and had a great experience. Took my granddaughter to CLK Nail, a mani for her and a pedi for me. This has been by far the worst nail salon I've ever been to. I asked for a dip manicure and pedicure and was definitely not expecting them to take over 2 hours to do both. (I had an appointment). I also did not expect every single one of my cuticles on both my feet and hands to have cuts. The technician that did my nails left them horribly shaped even after I asked them nicely to fix. I visited CLK nails on a Saturday morning. I tried calling to schedule an appointment but their phone was not working/in service. I live close so it was okay. They were pretty busy at 9:30 so I asked if I could schedule an appointment for later and they put me down for 10:30. When I arrived back at 10:30, the sat me down fast and Nancy took good care of me for a full set. She made sure I loved the shape I asked for and was really detailed. I treated myself to a much needed pedi for Mother's Day. I made sure to go right when they opened, so of course they took me right away. Off the back I like how their stamp card is electronic so you don't have to worry about misplacing your card. Instead you just sign in with your phone number. Everything was nice and clean around me and all staff members seemed to be in good moods. Ok, I've only been once....but my experience was amazing. Wendy took her time and really gave me the best SNS Dip manicure and pedicure I've had in a while. (I've only had one other since the world closed). I hope the quality of service remains as this is a new establishment. I can tell you that the owner ( I think he's the owner) was very kind even when I called to make an appointment. As for the safety precautions, they meet all the requirements....they are VERY distant and I witnessed lots of disinfecting. Appt only right now,but I kind of like that. Today, I decided to check out CLK Nails for a much needed "me" day. I had my gel manicure done by Thuy (Tammy) and my pedicure done by Trieu (Juty). Both ladies were so wonderful and sweet. I got the Seasonal Scentsations package which came with yummy smelling scrubs, plus ten minute massages on hands and feet. All of the staff here were working so hard and had back to back customers the entire time I was there. The gentleman at the front was so kind on the phone while making my appointment and kept up the great customer service once I arrived. Today was my first time here. I went in for gel mani and pedi. Everything was going well until my mani cuticles started being cut. The lady cut the crap out of my finger. It's been almost 8 hours since I left and I can not stop the bleeding. She cut my actual finger no where near my cuticle. She kept trying to hide the blood then tried to stop the bleeding by adding nail glue to my cut. Never again will I return or recommend this place to anyone. At first, I was so happy to have found a good place; for the most part the quality has been decent just inconsistent because I can't seem to get the same person. I wish I could give this no stars. Its was my first time here and i was really excited because I've had a hard time finding a good nail salon since I recently moved to the area. I made an appointment and went right after work. My appt was at 5:15, i was greeted and sat at a table. Im used to waiting a few minutes so I didn't mind. Fast forward to 5:49 this is when I was actually taken care for my nails. I brushed that off. I got a dip manicure, which in my head for $41 would include cuticles cleaned up, lotion and oil at the end. Well it's not. None of that is included and is all extra. I did not leave the salon till 7:10. It took my nail tech over an hour and 20 mins to do my dip mani. Honestly thats just ridiculous. And for them to come out as horrible and lumpy as they are is just unacceptable. The lady filed down my nails so short and didn't do the shape I asked after repeatedly telling her I wanted shortish-square nails. I got short nubs that are round and not straight or fully filed down. And to top it all off my nails look like big bubble nails, they're so thick and uneven (lumpy) and they are lifting which is catching on my hair and clothes. The nail tech also cut me with the blade on a few nails which really hurt. Sadly I will not be returning nor will I pay for this. I will be contacting my bank to file a dispute. Oh also, the dip and dip top coat had a really disgusting smell which I've never smelt at any other nails shop. It was literally burning my eyes and i was behind a piece of plastic. read more

I was disappointed with the quality of their dip powder nail product. Even after putting several coats of the dip powder, the color was noticeably uneven. So they recommended putting gel over it- at the time, that seemed to have fixed the problem but after spending extra 15 min, my nails ended up looking unnatural and thick. What's worse was that in less than a week, the gel part started chipping/lifting off from the powder nail surface. I went back to the salon hoping they will redo my nails as a courtesy but was told I have to pay for a full price for new set of nails (only offered to take them off at no charge). I ended up going to another salon to get them fixed and was told that the uneven, discolored look of the powder nails is most likely due to low quality of the product used. It's a newer place but they will need to understand the importance of customer service and stand behind their work. Hopefully, they will upgrade their powder nail products- because the place is really clean and most of seemed nice. Perhaps it's due to limited supplies?? I like to support small businesses in our community but also would like to help fellow Yelpers to find a service that's worth their hard-earned money read more
