I'm really sad to be posting this review. I've been to this place countless times when I lived in orange county but it's time to find a new place . Yesterday I went there around 4:30 pm . I had made my appointment earlier that day . They made me wait 25 minutes. They had 2 other ladies who were not working. Only the owner and another man. I was sent to the man after they finished with their customer. I was getting built up gel on my natural fingers . When he finished with taking off the get color I noticed that there was a lifting under both of my thumbs . There was dirt or something black in between my natural nail and the gel !! First of all he ignored it but when I asked him about it he took out the glue just wanting to glue it . I said it's dirty can you please clean under it before? He just said we will file it . Now I said fine because I'm not that confrontational but I should have been because my nails were already short so they didn't have that much room to file all of the dirt off. Why not just clean it ! I still have the patch of dirt and glue on my natural nails with a bright red gel nail polish on top. The builder gel is bumpy when I pointed it out. He said that he would file. It's still bumpy. I just feel like they did not want to put any effort like completely ignoring what I was saying. read more

Ok I am going to try and make this short , I have been coming here for sometime this WAS my go to spot for a pedicure only as I am a licensed manicurist the lady that did my pedicure today did a great job very nice lady , THE OWNER I think they said her name was Nina (not sure of the spelling) but she had orange colored short hair , she is VERY RUDE , I was asked 2 times on the phone if I wanted my nails done ... no thank then when I get there I was asked 4 times by 4 different people one of them being the owner Nina .. she looks at my nails and says those are UGLY! Over time & new management this place has gone down in service & quality. Previous to todays visit, I had a horrible experience but decided to give them one try & it was a waste of time & money. My last visit in May, I got my usual, gel manicure & regular pedi. I always request Jenny for my pedicure b/c she is truly the ONLY reason I still come to this nail shop; even though I have moved out of OC. On this day, Jenny was not there & Anne did my pedicure. It was the pedicure from hell!! It was so painful as she was "removing" a slight ingrown i had. Her "removal" process consisted of her jabbing the tool down the side of my toenail, so much so I had to ask her to stop & before I left the salon, she apologized for my toe, while I'm walking out in pain. I immediately got an infection & was referred to a podiatrist to have surgery on my toe. Today I decided to give them one more chance. I called for an appointment & was told Jenny was not there & will be out for a few months. I show up 10 minutes before my appointment time for my gel mani & regular pedi. I get seated 15 minutes after the appointment time &&& it took 2 HOURS for my service to be completed b/c the salon was over booked & I had to receive each service at separate times. In addition to that, I was not able to get the simple heart design I wanted on nail. Hope this salon gets better and invest in quality people vs. New massage chairs. read more

Hated my experience here this week. This nail salon used to be my go to spot but I will not be returning anymore. My nail tech cut me while doing my manicure and I started bleeding. That made me immediately not want to continue getting a manicure since I dont want heavy chemicals to go into my open wound. However she insisted that we go on. And she also put Neosporin on my cut in such an unsanitary way that made me feel even more uncomfortable. She put it directly from the Neosporin tube onto my cut which means she's used it on other people the same way. So disgusting. I'm sad that I will not and cannot return back to this salon. I expected her to give me a discount for the service since she cut my skin open but she did not. She charged me full price. read more

I can't believe I have to even do this again... the owner replied to me accusing me of writing a fake review. The only reason I mentioned being a previous customer is because I wanted you to know that I chose to still come back after the ownership changed because I wanted to give you a chance. I have given it over 5 chances and the quality is just not the same. Again, I don't know if it's the new polishes or something about your process but my nails keep chipping. This has never happened to me before. I didn't even mention how bad my nails and cuticles has been in the previous post because I didn't want to be over the top. Perhaps you are losing business because of this or perhaps it's because you accuse people of lying on Yelp. I have noticed that you like to mention that you have cameras and you can review the tapes. So please, I beg you to review the tape from Saturday, October 23 from around 10:00-11:00 am. I paid cash. The price was $63 and I tipped my manicurist $5 and the girl who did my pedicure $5. Called beforehand and they said come in, there is some time to do a gel mani and gel pedi. I just wanted a simple french tip and showed her the photo. The techs were nice but not thorough. The nail tech was also taking phone calls and very distracted, my nail design was very uneven and just sloppy. Cuticles were not even clean and a few of my nails broke within a few days. Pedi tech seemed like she was very thorough because she kept erasing and doing it over, trying to make it clean but it looks soo messy, omg. Bubbles everywhere, uneven color... if she did a good job on the cuticle area it wouldn't be so messy looking. I redid my nails somewhere else within a week because I hated it so much. Been going here for 3 yrs and have always been extremely happy with my nail tech. 2 weeks ago I went and my tech was not there so I had a different lady. From beginning to end it was horrible. I had to wait 40 minutes (even though she said 5), I told her to keep same oval shape but make them shorter, dip with gel color. I have long natural nails and apply dip since I type for work. She filed them to square and I had to leave. I returned to finish next day, she kept filing shape to coffin so I had to file hem myself. She dipped nails 4 times and forgot that I wanted color. Total time 1 hr, 45 mins to do a basic 45 minute nail process. A couple days later, nails started breaking, completely popping off. I went yesterday and my nail tech was still on vacation. The only one available was the same lady from before. Everyone deserves 2nd chances so I sat and told her what happened. She asked who did my nails and I told her "you did"! So I told her I had to cut all of them short and straight and start growing them out all over. She sorta filed them after the dipping, the shape and nail color looks like a kid did it, even my husband was upset. I was in a rush to get back to work so I paid and left. I didn't want to get upset cause I knew I'd see her again once I went back with my nail tech. Later I called to make appt with my tech and was told that she no longer worked there. The lady who took over is the one who did my nails and proceeded to tell me that I should make an appt cause they are all good there and the people from before are still there. My daughter in law and I stopped in on Sunday for a pedicure and manicure. The girl who did my manicure was new. I wish they would've asked me if I wanted someone new, but that question never came up. Between the girl who did my pedicure and this manicure that was going on I could not relax at all. The seat was too far back for my feet to lay flat so the girl kept pushing down on my feet as if that were going to make a difference! I finally said, "can I move the seat forward?" It's now Wednesday and the polish on my toe nails are peeling off. Literally curling. I believe the polish must have been old. I paid $57 for nothing! I posted a picture. I don't live in Fullerton and was only visiting the area so I can't go back to the salon and show them. As for the manicure, the girl kept insisting I put my hand down first and she literally put the dryer on top of the wet nails several times! Came in to get my eyebrows waxed here for the first time and they did a horrible job they made one eyebrow skinny with a chunk missing and when I saw what she did she said it was my eyebrow shape. I don't normally have one thick eyebrow and one skinny with a chunk missing. Replying to the owner, I don't know who Tina is but I went in yesterday evening and got them waxed. Take responsibility for your bad service and try to make things right instead of putting blame on the client. As an owner you should be apologetic about my eyebrows being messed up so badly. I got a gel-x with purple/pink ombre nails here with Erin. As someone who only tried the regular gel nail before, it was my first time trying the dip-powdered products. It was such a new experience for me, and I enjoyed it. As a result, the outcome was pretty satisfactory. Although the result was good, the whole process was tedious and annoying. Here's why: - During the phone call, I made sure to schedule an appointment exactly at 5 p.m., I even told Erin that "see you at 5 p.m. on Monday" at the end of the call. But she booked me for 5:30 p.m. instead. She did not even accept her mistake and insisted that it was 5:30 p.m. As a full-time hectic student, I track all schedules in my calendar notebook. I coordinate my appointment based on my class schedule. What am I going to do until 5:30 when my previous class finishes much earlier? So, I never said 5:30. Maybe, she misheard while taking care of another client and taking a phone call at the same time?? This is my assumption, but what was really going on? It could have been better if I had received the text confirmation rather than a phone call. When I exactly got here at 5 p.m., Erin was already taking care of another customer and told me to wait for 30 minutes. But, I ended up waiting for over 42 minutes. It was SUPER ANNOYING. - Why was she using the drills on my original nails before applying the gel-x tips? I did not have any previous gel on my nail, so the gel removal process was not even needed. But she literally filed the surface of my healthy/natural nails by using the nail drills prior to applying the Gel-X tips, which I did not understand at all. When I realized that, she was already done filing. It was so quick, so that I could not even stop her during the process. If the purpose of this process is to remove the oil on the nail surface, why didn't she use a different method of doing it? She did not have to file the surface of my natural nails, and it's DAMAGING my nails. Does she really care about the customer's nail care, or only care about the outcome and time-saving? I've done gel-x several times previously but have never seen anyone using the nail drills on customer's nails before applying the tips. They have their strengths such as having a wide variety of color selections and convenient location&parking. But, they should improve for their continued success. read more

Okay so I've never been here. I took my sister with me. They got this adorable glitter dip manicure and it came out so pretty. On top of that they loved it! They were so good with them and sweet. I love that I found this place, thanks to Yelp and it's so close to my house which is a plus. I tried the dipping powder for the first time and I loved it. You don't have to worry about using a UV light that will further damage your skin and nails. It's nice to not have to get acrylics if you have long nails because the dipping powder makes them nice and strong versus using gel. I had the pleasure of Tina working on my hands and Tiffany did my pedicure. And they were both great. I'll be willing to try the colorful powders one day but I've always liked the more natural look. They are located in a small shopping area with ample enough parking. read more

They use MMA when I went in I was told no refund even though my nails have been left bloody. I asked first for a refund and was denied then I was offered I could see the products. A nail tech picked up the acrylic chemical bottle read the ingredients put it down and then would not let me see it. I asked to speak to the owner and they said the owner is rarely in. I asked for the phone number and they said they would call the cops instead. MMA is an illegal product to use on nails in the US because it is dangerous and will leave your nails damaged if not bloody. The correct product to use his EMA. Make sure you see the products they put together before you let them touch your nails. I want to clarify because they said that I soaked my nails for too long and acetone and that is why. With the help of an experienced nail tech I soak my nails for 30 minutes at a time and had to soak them a total of three hours just to painfully rip them off my nails. After drilling the top layers with a real nail drill the bottom was still hard and had even stuck more to my nails which is why I had to be left bloody. The picture shows the split nail two days after I put a topcoat on to save them from bleeding. I did not soak my nails for three hours straight, I gave the nail breaks between acetone foil wraps. Parts of it were gummy and mushy and the other parts were sticky or still hard on my nail. This is horrible business. I was lied too when I message the nail tech who tried to lie and say I've never gotten nails done there, and then tried to say a different set then what I got was on my nails. That in itself doesn't make sense because if I haven't gotten my nails done why would you say I had a different set on and then I even claimed to have. I asked for their license and have not heard back. Overall terrible experience terrible business practices liars cheaters and Theifs. I just want my refund for bloody nails. Erin Tran has been reported to CA board of barbers and cosmetology, and I could not even find a license number for her in the CA system search. She is working illegally. **NEW OWNERSHIP** A few days ago I went to my favorite nail salon, only to find that it is under new ownership. I ended up going through with my appointment for a gel manicure and regular pedicure, as I wanted to give the new staff a chance. I was highly disappointed. My pedicure was just okay. The lady was really nice. The manicure I received was probably the worst I have ever had. There was lint from the towel used on my nails and debris from filing my nails, which was visible upon the first coat she put. I let her know and asked if she could please fix it. She said, "yes" and kept on going without fixing it. I let her know about the same issue after each coat, which she kept saying "yes" to, but I just realized she was just saying that to basically shut me up as if there wasn't anything wrong. The prices were also a bit higher than Tina's prices, which is fine if the service was amazing. However, terrible service/nails plus high prices just doesn't work for me. The two stars are for the okay pedicure and for Cece, which offered to fix my nails. I didn't have her fix them, as it was late and I had to leave. Going back to get them fixed just wasn't worth my time. I really miss Tina and her staff! I only saw one familiar face, so I'm guessing everyone left. If you were used to Tina and her staff's amazing work and customer service, then I would not recommend coming here, as you will be disappointed. Tina! Where did you go??!!! :( read more
