Reposting because for some reason yelp made me this new account when I actually signed up , anyways I'm not a yelper , I don't write reviews but this situation absolutely needed a review , their attending service was great , the reason I'm leaving 1 star (I would leave zero if I could) is because they did malpractice on my nails !! I went in for a refill and instead of completely taking off my lifted nails they decided to just reglue it !! I thought it was strange when I saw this procedure but didn't speak up and now I wish I would have , the outcome to that was my nail being broken off almost down to my natural nail bed !!! It was absolutely painful never in my 9 years of getting my nails done has anything like this ever happened to me , it wasn't until the tragic nail break that I learned regluing a lifted nail is a form of malpractice because it causes your natural nail to be weakened! Lesson very much learned I'm sure they did that just to save money on their own supplies but now my finger looks absolutely disgusting it's so sad , again this has never happened to me ever in my 9 years of getting my nails done and I will not be taking my business to them ever again , now I can't even get my nails done for 6 months until my nail bed heals and grows back Edit because owner responded , this is absolutely the correct location I uploaded a picture of your card for proof and I went in with no appointment and you cannot fix it!!! I tried this place because I needed a pedicure. It was clean and spacious. Nice service. However, I am not impressed by my pedicure. The top coat doesn't even cover the whole polish and there are bubbles in my polish. Kind of sloppy which I was surprised by the outcome. They also didn't warn me that the gel polish removal would be an additional $5, which other places have not charged me for or they gave me advance notice. read more

Looking for a new nail salon and I found this one passing State College. There was only one person having a mani/pedi. I was taken next. The girl who was assigned to do my pedicure, it was obvious she was new at giving pedicures or didn't know what she was doing. Stayed to give her a chance. When she completed with my pedicure, she didn't polish but stood up and walked away to the next client. Didn't say a word. The guy at the desk taking in clients sat to do my polish. He scolded me because my cuticles weren't done and why didn't I say anything. WHAT!!! So he proceeded to polish. I decided I wanted my hands polished and asked. He looked over at the one other person having a pedicure and said "Your gonna have to wait, I'm busy" his tone wasn't appreciated and I can't imagine if they get more than two clients at one visit. I love animals but I just believe there are places they should not be allowed. A client walked in with her dog and the polish guy brought out his full grown rabbit and allowed it to run around. I came here once before and it was really nice so I came back today just to be disappointed. The nails I got don't look as long as the picture I showed him... I asked for long nails and he gave me medium. When I told Eric about it he simply brushed it off and said that they always ask before they cut my nails. My guy didn't ask, he just cut them after I said "I want them long, I just worry because I don't want them to break." I am upset with my nails but that's fine, it happens. But when I brought it up Eric was so rude, I figured I would at least get a little understanding. I don't expect another set or a discount, just some consideration. Plus on top of all this I still have hangnails and some pieces that need to be filed off. And for my mom who was with me, they basically took a whole 2 hours to do her toes, and dedicated a whole 40 minutes to perfecting her top coat. I visited this nail salon for the first time after calling to make an appointment for three people. Upon arriving I walked into an industrial and open concept environment. I was greeted upon entry and one person from my party was seated immediately. Myself and my daughter had to wait some time to be seated and worked on. Although all the workers were very friendly, they have a limited staff and the wait time from when my party and I arrived to when we finished was way too long. Unfortunately, my gel nail polish only lasted just shy of a week. I'm pretty picky with my manicures mostly because I hyperfixate if the polish work isn't clean or it has noticeable bumps. I did a gel-x manicure with medium/long almond shape and the gentleman who was taking care of me was SO meticulous! The shape was perfect and he chose a really great natural shade after I asked for recommendations. The pedicure was also good but I noticed they didn't really give me the options for which package I wanted so not sure if I got overpriced on that. The pedicure was standard, though I didn't love the color she recommended as much. All in all, I felt the entire experience was quite good considering it being a very on the whim selection! Was an amazing experience! I called earlier the day I went and got an appointment for that day. They were very nice doing my nails and checked at every step of what they were doing was what I wanted. I asked for my pinky to be shaved more and they did no problem. The deigned is beautiful and they even took the time to do it to make sure it was up to a good standard. There is one spot on my thumb that's weirdly mat, but that happens. I also filed some sharp spots, but I'm picky so that's just me. I definitely recommend this place! Found this place while stopping by the bakery next door. **Call to schedule an appointment! When you first walk in it smells soo clean, everythings very neat and organized. I could not get over how cute everything is!! The stuffed animals, im the little booties they place over the plastic to hold the product in. Eric and his mom were very nice.
