I live rather close by and I came here several times to get a soak off. Last time I went, never will I go back again. The woman who is generally there all the time, I'm pretty sure she runs the place, was saying her inappropriate comments about me going there only for a soak off. She asked me who does my nails and "why doesn't she take them off?" "These are too thick" "why does she do them too thick" She then tried to tell me that my nails were acrylic when they weren't. They are gel x. Sculpted gel x which gives a "acrylic" look. She then persisted to make her comments about how "they are too thick" but only cause she has to wait for them to soak. Soaking process for gel x is 15-20 min max. I had to tell her "don't worry, i won't come next time. I'll have her to do it" & I had to ask in response to her consistent comments "why, do you guys not like to do soak offs here?" The fact that I felt compelled to say something back just goes to show how uncomfortable she made me feel that it was only right for me to have to defend why I even came for a service in the first place. No one is hardly there. They sit on their phones. Why wouldn't they want any service? They lost some income just by there lack of customer service and ability to hold their comments. No one should go there because they do not like servicing people, they only like what gains them. Since I did not get my nails done there, I'm sure this is why they were "offended" in some personal way that I get soak offs there. read more

I went for my appointment and my nails got started right on time... has to wait 15 mins to start the pedicure. Anywho, this was my first time with gel x and my nails have lasted three weeks. My pinky nail came loose after two weeks but I was able to glue it back on myself lol. I also had a standard pedicure and it lasted beautifully. First time and last time here. This is the kind of place where they talk crap about you very loudly in Vietnamese any time you say anything. The woman who did my pedicure didn't even seem to know what she was doing. She had the hardest time removing my gel polish because she's used to filing it off with the drill and was clearly upset when I asked her to soak it off instead of filing down. I wish I took a picture of my nails to show how poor they were. My mother and I went together, and it was empty. She (Helen) had me do my nails first because my mother had to do an acrylic soak off. Helen was very rushed with my nails. First, she didn't cut my cuticles and they're really thick because I wash my hands very often. Next, my nails were uneven. She shaped them to be a stiletto when I asked for almond. After, I asked for cat eye but wanted a base coat so it wasn't transparent, she gives me slime green when clearly the cat I was getting was jade green. In addition, she added so much glue my nails ached, and she didn't bother to turn my hand over to get the excess glue off. My mother and I wasted our money there. I live fairly close, when I got home I immediately soaked them due to how bad they were and how much glue there was that caused my fingers to hurt. I came home to show my fiancée how bad they were and he never says things look bad on me... for him to agree speaks volumes. I would not recommend please drive further down to Naile 4 U & Spa or iColor Nail's bar. It's a $5 difference for gel x and better quality. read more

Decided to try a new place for my pedicure so I made an appointment for 4:30pm. I arrived around 4:10pm & decided to check in just in case the ladies were able to start early but they were working on two customers so I waited until my appointment time. The lady who did my pedicure was nice I guess didn't talk much to me. I really like that she took her time on my pedicure I'm used to the techs rushing but she did not. I did have some scary moments when she was cutting my cuticles I thought she cut me a few times but she didn't thank goodness! I took a chance and came here since the lady I normally see is out of town for the month. I was told to come at 11 am, which I was on time for. I wasn't seen till 11:40. The nail tech was removing my gel x with acrylic nail tips, roughly forcing them to pop off. This is so dangerous and rough for the nails, nail techs should never do this to a customer. When she got to my middle nail, she did it so hard, she ripped off my actual nail and I was bleeding. It hurt and I told her I didn't want to get nails today because I was in pain. It was only then when I said I no longer wanted services, that she apologized. She then quickly poured acetone on my wound, putting me in way more pain. Acetone shouldn't be poured on a wound, ever. Honestly my review is just for one technician that worked in my nails. Since covid I haven't gone anywhere and today I decided to get my nails done here. Bad mistake. I should've gone where I normally go that's what I get for wanting to try somewhere else. This review is for the lady (heavy built) sorry I don't know her name. I really try to reason with this reason but she really gave me no choice. First of all, she has no customer skills. From the way she greets u to answering her phone. It seems like she's lazy to speak. She worked on my nails, and I had to ask her to keep shaping my nails because of how brittle and uneven it looks. She says she can't see so tell her. UMMMM if you can't see why are you doing peoples nails!???? I got powder dip and Homegirl totally left one finger alittle uneven so I told her look at this finger the powder dip is not even and she cares bothered. So it was bulky at that point so I asked her to file it down. I mean I feel like at this point I just want to be done if I have to tell her every step causing tension. I can tell she doesn't like it me asking her to do her job correctly. Then I showed her the design I want, chrome holographic tips. And I've gotten that many times and if you don't spread it evenly it looks glittery af! So she did my left hands almost perfectly, but then she rushed because she has her client coming in. She starting piling on heavy chrome holographic on my right hand and I told her it's uneven and your putting on too much. I showed her as well that she's putting on too much and she gave me the most obvious shrug with her face. Ain't no holographic anymore it's like of glitter shit on my right nails. So disappointed I waisted my time here. Never will I come again. And whoever the owner is I really hope you teach her some customer manners in listening to her a customer instead of acting BOTHERED. Also $50 for my nails? Powder is around $35 it says, these are my real nails btw. So she charged me $15 just for chrome tips. I've done this elsewhere many times with my real nails it was not this much. Bad customer service with this nail tech and over charged. SMH ***look at the pictures and compare the two hands on how they both came out different. Worst customer services ever! I took my friend here visiting from out of town for gel nails and pedicure. I made an appointment not walked in. Helen the owner really needs to work on her customers service etiquette! she can't treat paying customers the way she treated me in front of my friend! I wanted my friend to have an awesome experience since she has been so busy with school so I treated her. As soon as we walk in ,Helen just ask medium or short nails from across without a visual, so my friend said medium. Keep in mind I asked for June the sweetest lady, however, Helen said she only does pedicures so Helen worked on my friend's hands. OMG!!! She was in such of hurry, she didn't soaked the nails as you should, she only ripped them off, leaving the nail bed so damaged. I was catching up with my friend talking to her.Helen started putting the primer already when I saw the nails so long and asked my friend if she was ok with them and my friend told her to cut them a little because they were to long. All hell broke loose with Helen, she yelled at my dear girl saying " omg, I don't have time!! And look at me and told me you talking to her and don't noticed! I won't do it , she said to me a paying customer!! her nails were long when she came Helen said !" I told her that they were long before she cuz she has not have time to do them! I even offered to pay more for her to cut them which is part of the service in any salon! but she wouldn't listen and started talking in Vietnamese to her workers and roll her eyes at me!!! So my friend said,"ok I think I can work with them because she was shy and intimidated by this crazy lady yelling at us! , at this time I was furious but stayed calm , what Helen didn't know is that my friend speak Vietnamese and she told me Helen trashed me. ( so you better watch out when you are there , they might do the same to you) By this time Helen next customer was there like 20 minutes early so she was rushing and when my friend showed her the color and design she wanted, Helen forced her to get her "pretty and nice design she does for her customers " which was just some ugly lines!!! By this time I wanted to cry, I couldn't believe the way a business owner was treated us. When she was done , I asked my friend to wait outside, by this time Helen was working on her customer that was 20 minutes early. Very calmly I told her that I was gonna try to be as nice as I can for respect to her customer. and I told her how disappointed we were with her service and how rude she was to my friend and myself at this time I didn't know all the trash she has said about me! In Vietnamese until I got home. She started yelling at me telling me saying it was her turn to talk and telling me that my friends nails were long and these and that I didn't wanna talk to her anymore and told her OK if you think you're right that's fine but I have to tell you how I feel. She didn't finished the work, didn't put the topcoat in one hand! This extremely rude lady didn't realize a couple of things. I am a licensed cosmetologist. I know what she's doing. Didn't realize my friend spoke Vietnamese and my friend mom also does nails. I have the machine at home and can do the work myself but I choose to take her to the salon for a relaxing experience! instead we had the worst experience. I was so embarrassed with my friend and I ended up going home and redid her nails because Helen didn't finish the work and I still pay her over $100 for the work and left tip only because June the lady that did the pedicure is a sweet, nice lady. I will never ever recommend this place and I don't ever want to go back , Helen is the worst! Not the first time she treats people like that , No customers matters. Ladies- please be warned. I went to this place for the first time and the owner Helen complained about how much work it is to do my nails the whole time. I had Gel X pretty long nails and she filed them so short and very wonky. I've had to re file and shape my nails now for two days because they are so bad. I would usually go back to get them fixed but I would never allow this shop to touch my nails again.. and what for.. to hear her complain about how much work it is to fix them! Please please please be careful. When I was there she was rude to not just me but the customer after me. Yelled at the customer for looking at the colors on the wall instead of the nail sample colors. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

First time coming here and also first time trying Gel X. The Pros: Clean place and overall friendly staff. Great price for Gel X. Cons: I was between ombre and a french manicure so I asked the nail tech for her opinion she suggested the ombre, I asked if both were the same price and she said yes, once it came time to pay she told me ombre was actually $15 extra not $10 like the french, not a huge deal but it was a bit annoying that I had specifically asked. The nail tech also messed up on one of the nails when she filed the Gel . I pointed it out a couple of times early in the process and she keep saying ok and that it would be fixed by the end. The end of the work was done and the bottom near the cuticle still had bubbles and it didn't look right. I had to ask her again to fix it at which point she had to file down the work she had already done. She was a bit rude about it and I felt bad having her correct it but had she done it initially it would have saved her some time. I also didn't love that she didn't fully clean my hands.
