I came in here for graduation nails and while I set an appointment, I still had to wait 45 minutes before anyone came to work on my nails. I just wanted to simple gel polish, without the manicure. My technician spent over an hour making sure everything was perfect. I am now posting this review five weeks after getting my nails done, and there were zero chips at all! FIVE WEEKS!! If I get my nails done again, you bet I'm coming back here.
Came to Paisley Nails yesterday for a gel mani/pedi. The lady doing my manicure barely let my fingers soak in the bowl of water. She then started to use the cuticle pusher and then started to trim my cuticles and i noticed there was still a lot of cuticle skin left so i had asked her to please trim the skin otherwise the gel polish would end up lifting as my nails grew out. She put her tools down and then went and sat in one of the pedicure chairs with her feet up and started to look at her phone. Yvonne who did a great job on my pedicure came to finish my manicure and started trimming all the extra cuticle skin. She nicked me 4 times and made my cuticles bleed. (You can see the nicks in the photo and the skin on my thumb inflamed and red) mind you by this point i had been at the salon for 2 hours!! I finally said forget it I'm not going to have them put gel on my fingers since my skin has been nicked and now raw. I showed the owner my nails and still made me pay. I didn't want to make a scene infront of other customers so i paid and then after texted her explaining how i don't think it was fair for me to have to pay for a horrible experience. Owner is now refusing to refund me $20 for the manicure. Keep in mind when i came my cuticles did not look like this. Please be cautious with using this salon and fingers crossed the tools are cleaned properly since there is now blood on the cuticle cutters that they used on my nails...
First of all...I made an appointment at 9:30 for a reason, they didn't even have a tech for me. They started with my nail after about 20 minutes past my appointment time. There was no explanation or apology. My review come down to skills. They got none. Simply that. The straight line requested was not straight. Black was not black. Lines were uneven and colors were uneven. Honestly, I could have done a better job. If you are looking for designs I encourage you to check elsewhere because if a nail artist. I would have asked them to take them off but I had to leave. If I had extra 30 minutes I would have asked to remove the design.
The staff is really great! Your nails will look on point! The only thing is the parking lot of kind of small. But they will make your nails look beautiful.
I was excited to try a new salon, so I made an appointment for 4pm with Sean. I showed up right on the dot, and ended up waiting over an hour and a half. That was really unfortunate and not sure I'll be returning because of that. I wish they had told me how long I'd have to wait so I could have ran an errand close by. I guess just be wary since even with an appointment you may need to wait a long while. The owner was nice at least. Sean's praise on Yelp is definitely accurate. His work is great and he's very detail oriented. I liked that he took the time to make sure my nails weren't too thick and he asked if I was satisfied with the shape and length. My nails are nearly perfect except for a couple of bubbles and I wish the pink on my ombré was a bit darker like the photo I showed him. My acrylic set was $50 with coffin shape and ombré. All in all it was fine. Since my nails came out great and Sean worked quickly, I gave 4 stars instead of 3. It's a shame that they didn't offer a coupon or some kind of discount since I waited such a long time WITH an appointment. But I'm glad others have had great experiences here :)
Loveeeee this salon! I have been coming here for months to get gel pedicures and manicures. This last time I got gel XL? I believe that's what it was called. It was amazing I am so happy with the results. Handed her a picture and told her to please do something similar. Was NOT disappointed!
I've been going to this nail salon for about half a year now and to say I'm always pleased is an understatement! Sean and Diem are so kind as well as everyone else. They are such perfectionist when it comes to their clients! Most places want to get you in and out here they take their time to make sure their clients are getting exactly what they want, which is a rarity these days. All the associates can do literally everything so glad that I found them! All of the reference pictures that I show them my nails are exactly the same which not many people can do so thank you guys for your dedication and all the love you pour into your clients!
This nail salon is pretty solid! It's kind of out of the way so I can't make it out there every time, but I've been two times so far and I've enjoyed my experience both times. I will say they get pretty busy!! Book an appointment for sure. They are very responsive on yelp, so I always booked through yelp. I think I only waited a couple minutes the 2nd time I visited, but that's normal. When I get my nails done there, each time I had 2 technicians do my nails-- they'd switch off in the middle, I'm not entirely sure why. Sometimes they'd re-switch again..? I don't know, but it was nice to get some kind o "second opinion" on the state of my hard gel process haha. Oh, I've only gotten hard gel there and it takes a while, but not as long as other salons I've been too! They don't make it all thick and I like how precise they are w the shape. They also made me a color since they didn't have it, so they layered and it came out great! I think my only issue was that when they got busy, you can tell that they start to rush towards the end, but I think it may have been because of an issue they had with someone's reservation(?). My nail work was fine but it felt like all of a sudden they were just rushing and not paying much attention (I sound needy LOL). I think google maps doesn't really take you there exactly, so just look in the smaller plaza on the corner :)
Once again Jean is killing it! My nails are so freaking awesome I am so ready for the holidays! Make your appointment now!
Always a pleasure to be greeted by the nice and friendly staff. Whatever the color or design, you're always satisfied. You always leave with your nails looking like a charm. Especially Sean and Jeanie, talk about professionals!!!

I've been going to Paisley for awhile now, but I'd only get pedicures. I had been thinking about getting Gel-X nails put on for awhile but was hesitant because I haven't had any sort of artificial nails for a good 10 years. I decided to just go for it and made my appointment with Jeanne. She was so patient with me as I was indecisive about the length. Jeanne took her time on my nails and was so gracious when I asked her to once again, make them just a bit shorter. She is so detailed and checked to make sure my hands matched up in shape and length. I truly appreciate how kind and patient she was with me. I absolutely love my nails! I just hope I can get used to them enough so I can keep them on. They look so pretty. read more

Just finished getting a pedicure with owner Jean and I am very pleased. Not only do my nails look great but the experience was so pleasant. Jean was genuinely friendly and not overly chatting. My nails are polished and shiny. The space was clean and there was no lingering chemical smell that you usually find at nail salons. There are 6 massage pedicure seats and 4 manicure seats with plenty of maneuvering space. This spot will definitely be my new go-to when I'm visiting my parents! read more

This is my go-to nail salon! Jeanne and Sean are always so kind and so willing to do any designs you have in mind. They also do an amazing job on the details and care of your nails. I started going to them in October 2021 and haven't gone to anyone else since. Will be posting more pictures of my nails! read more

My elderly mother and I came in for pedicures and got the royal treatment. Jean and Michelle were complete pros, especially since this was my mom's first pedi, so she needed quite a lot of work. Be sure to turn on the massage chair. Just had my second pedi here with Phuong. What a pro! Very thorough. Jean worked on Mom again. It's obvious that they take their job very seriously and enjoy what they do. read more

I've been coming here for a few months now and I don't want to go anywhere else ever again! I moved to Brea a year ago and kept trying to find a place that I liked but didn't seem to like anything. I came here for the first time for NYE and have been coming back since. The owner is so kind and she's so talented with nail art The Spa is so clean which is the first thing I look at when walking into a nail place and the decor is so modern chic, I love this place. I definitely recommend!!! read more

I spent 2 days looking for a local nail salon.. I've been living in Fullerton/La Habra area for almost 3 years but, up until now I can confidently say this place is legit. My primary nail salon is in Silverlake, I love my girls there but I wanted to find something more local. I was impress with Mindy's pedicure (she actually takes the time to clean/cut the cuticles) she cares about her work and Sean works fast, I can tell he's a perfectionist and does great nails! I truly appreciated the work, time and effort and just in this one visit I could tell they really do care about their work not just making the cash. I feel this small business is well deserving of your business. I'm in love with my nails, so much I could cry lol picture does no justices - nails are in fleek tho! read more

I found this place through Yelp, and I am glad that I did. I made an appointment about three days prior, and I even took a friend to do it. We only spent a total of 2 hours there, so it was very quick! And the results were amazing. We just showed them a picture of what we wanted, and they were perfectly able to do it. Both my friend and I enjoyed getting our nails done here. We choose a color, but it didn't come out as expected so they kindly let us change the color again. Thank you Kim for the amazing designing skills. read more

I will always rave about this nail salon! Jeanne and Sean do such amazing work. Sean is my go to for everything. I show him a design I like and he can recreate it like nothing and even better! Now Lucy on the other hand does amazing work on my feet. I'm in heels for 8 hours a day for work so my feet are a little rough sometimes! But thanks to Lucy and her attention to detail my feet look so clean and nice. I will 100% recommend this salon to anyone. It is 100% worth the time and money. I live & work 30/40 mins away from this salon but I won't go anywhere else. Sean is my guy & Lucy is my girl read more

I was in town visiting family and desperately needed to get my nails done. I looked around at reviews on yelp and there were so many options but decided to give my business to Paisley based on the photos and reviews left by other customers. I'm so glad I did! I called to make sure that they could accommodate me, and luckily I was able to head over right away. There was no wait time and I was impressed by the amount of detail and attention they gave to my gel manicure. I came in with a picture and they even attempted to mix custom colors to see what would work best. They do not rush anything and were more concerned about getting it right than even I was---which is saying a lot as I pay attention to the details as well. I've already received multiple compliments on my nails (despite it only having been half a day since I got them done), and have already referred their services to a few people. I'm even hoping to see if I can schedule in another visit before I go back home. If you're in the area, give them a call! If you receive the friendly and attentive service I did, you will surely not be disappointed. read more

Shout it to my girl Jean! She did such an amazing job. You can tell she takes pride in her work. She took her time when shaping my gel dip nails and they look natural. The color is spot on and the little Mickey design she did for me is adorable. Really really pleased with the quality for what I paid. I will be back for sure! Highly recommend. read more

Really impressed with this establishment! They let me book through yelp and I was serviced as soon as I got there. Very clean and organized. It is also my first time getting the almond shape and I am very pleased with the way they came out. Jean serviced me today and she paid a lot of attention to detail. I would definitely go back! read more
