Been coming here few times now. I definitely am so glad I found this spot. I use to have someone else wax me from a spot. It was ok, then after awhile she just seemed to get comfortable and would still leave hairs that I'd have to pluck when I got home to check better! Ouch! Come on ladies for those who know. This is our second time here. First time we absolutely loved our waxing girl. Unfortunately I can't recall her name but was very professional and eased my boyfriends worries. The location is off a busy major street but offers plenty of parking including the surrounding businesses (on a Saturday afternoon). Love the decor and soothing music. The only grief I have is that in our first appointment, I was able to enter the room while my boyfriend was getting waxed. Upon our second appointment I wasn't allowed in due to a new policy that was recently put into place. Apparently a woman was putting recording inappropriate snap chats during one of the sessions. Way to keep it classy ladies. Is there nothing you don't post anymore? I only wish they would have let him know ahead of time. He made the appointment within the week, they confirmed with him the day before the appointment and no mention of this new rule. I'm not the jealous type, but I could went about my day instead of waiting out here typing a yell review. The ladies that work here so far have been great, pleasant, never had a bad experience, very professional. Except for this small complaint. Would recommend this spot nonetheless. read more

Decided to give this place a try since it isn't too far from where I work in Downey. I really wanted to love it and give it five stars but my experience was no more than 3/5 rating. Parking was very easy and the business was easily located right across from Arco and right before Columbus Avenue coming coming on imperial from Lakewood Blvd. My appointment was with Anne who was extremely nice and very thorough throughout the time I was there. My Brazilian was for the most part painless, so do-able. The downside is the hair removal aspect. I didn't get a chance to look until I got home and many spots had been missed. Maybe it was the wax? Maybe it was hard to see? Nonetheless i have always walked out of my waxes at other places more than satisfied and they were all reasonably the same in price. I wanted to love this place I might just need to go back in 6/7 weeks and try them again but I have had cleaner waxed done elsewhere and I feel like if you walk in and will spend 50+ on a service that takes less than 20 minutes it should be done exactly the way you expect it to. read more

Today I went in for a full bikini wax. My waxer was Vanessa. The overall experience was okay. The room was clean, the bed was simple, and before I entered she prepped everything. They use hard wax which was new to me because I am used to the wax strip. The session was about 20 minutes. I do have to say that the walls seemed a bit thin. I initially made my appointment through Yelp, and it was pretty easy. They responded pretty fast. This was my first Brazilian wax at this location and Claudia was my esthetician. She was really sweet, made me feel really comfortable. I really liked the music she played (90s r&b) because it made the entire environment calm and bearable. She talked to me the entire time, even when I was rambling because i was so nervous. I was ultimately really comfortable. She prepped me about which parts would hurt more, and which I didn't have to worry about... because let's face it, no wax is a comfortable one. My total was $75. The wax was 55, then 10 for a exfoliating scrub she recommended, and 10 for tip. It was a good experience and i will be going back. The only reason I gave 4 stars, and not 5, was because I felt like it was great... clean, and nice.. but there wasn't anything that exceeded my expectations. read more

I had a groupon so I gave this place a try. Overall the customer service was good. The ladies were pretty helpful. My review is based on the waxing service I had. I came in for a Brazilian and I've been getting them for years so I kind of know what I want. They used the wax strips and I prefer the hard wax. So for that reason I haven't returned. I've came here many times before but this will be the last time I ever go here. I went to see my usual lady, Liz for a Brazilian and upper lip. I'm a Brazilian wax veteran; I've been waxed tons of times now. Let me tell you, I haven't had one this painful!! She struggled pulling the wax strip off all at once and because of that she'd have to rip and pull on the same area 4-5 times each! Ouchie! Thankfully I have no bruising. Then she painfully did my upper lip with hot wax...leaving 2nd degree burns!!! The burns are so bad I'm afraid I'll have to miss work on Monday! Terrible experience! Never coming back!! read more

I usually do a bikini line wax at a place closer to home but decided to try a Brazilian Wax for the first time here from a friend's recommendation. Did not disappoint :) Walking in, you could tell they put effort into creating a relaxing atmosphere. It is clean and smells refreshing. Being a first timer, I was prepared to experience extreme pain but it was nowhere near as bad as others have described it. It was definitely tolerable. Nicole was quick and efficient and warned me when it would become painful for me. She kept talking to me, keeping me distracted and also walking me through the process so I knew what she was doing. So this is the last time I go to this place. I decided to give it another shot, and holy hell it was the worst experience I've had going here. I had wax on my shoes, and still a lot of wax left between places I'd rather not say. I don't know how many pads with grapeseed oil I had to use to clean it up. Also, the wax itself was super painful even though I had already had 3 other Brazilian waxes. Not sure if it was the tech's inexperience, or not sure what it was but I have a high pain tolerance and this session sucked! They also used a different wax than they had the last few times I had gone and I was definitely not a fan. I won't be going back. This was my second time here, I was a little late and they gave me a courtesy call which was reasonable. But the person who called was not very friendly. The only reason I dropped a star was for the front staff customer service she was not very friendly on the call, or when I was checking out. Shelby did my waxing and for the most part did a decent job. Took longer than it should've, but I was still ok with that. She took time to trim before waxing and missed a few but that's ok. I had come here out of convenience because it's so close by to where I work. And my normal place is hard to get to right after work, but I'm not sure I will be back. read more

I came here approximately maybe two weeks ago, to get my under arms waxed. It was actually my first time, so I decided to try them out witch it turned out to be just fine! Until 3Days ago I decided to come back for the same service I received the last time witch was my under arms mind you I've been waxing for years! And never had an issue ever like this the young lady used two different types of wax on me this time around which. Let me say this ive never used the strip wax I always use soft wax witch has never been a problem ever! I also noticed when she was using the soft wax she doubled dipped your not supposed to use the same stick when replying the soft wax! I usually go To European wax center for all my services, but decided to be open minded and try them out well that didn't go well my left under pit has 3degree burns and also a rash I literally can't even put my left arm down without it throbbing and hurting from it being sore from all the waxing! And to make matters worse, I can't even wear deodorant how uncomfortable is that! In my personal opinion, she should of tested the wax on her hand before applying to my underarm to make sure the temperature was correct, but as a careless act I got burned and a rash witch showed up an hour later when I noticed soreness under my arms but I didn't think much of it until it grew worse with unbearable pain!
