Prince Movers was recommended to me by a Senior Living community. They are one of three movers on the "preferred" list of movers. I called last minute and they were able to schedule me with only a weeks notice. Raul & Franko did an amazing job! If you find any items broken after you move in, this company WILL NOT compensate any damages! The company wrapped and packed all 3 of our TV's! They were responsible for the transportation and handling of the TV's. After the move was completed they had my husband signed a form saying no damages were done! However, after they left and we began unpacking and plugging the tvs in that's when we saw the crack in the tv! Unfortunately this company is so small they lack the following items that should be present! *This company does NOT present you with a claim sheet or provide you a time line to claim any damages item! * They will NOT compensate you for anything! *They will make you sign a form after the move is I'm sorry covering a TV with blankets and tape is not a "Professional" way to pack a tv! Booked Prince Movers for a local move this past week. Francisco and his crew were top notch! They were careful with all of our boxes and furniture. Disassembled and reassembled everything just right and even helped out with last minute items that needed moving. As mentioned in other reviews, everyone in the crew was super polite and respectful. The booking process was very smooth and easy and while no mover is cheap, Prince Movers are definitely worth every penny and their pricing is very competitive. To put it lightly they consider themselves royalty,but treat their customers as paupers. The only good thing is that they show up on time to take your money, belittle you, segregate against you and treat you and your valuables as "commoners". The movers don't speak English, so there goes an hour or three trying to communicate. One guy will leave his trash at each location expecting you to clean it up, some things will go missing as you finally start unpacking... you'll notice missing boxes, one guy will be on his phone the whole time so you're only paying for 1/2 of the full amount you were charged. AND here's the best part.... when you call to complain you just get, I'm sorry. Here we are two weeks later and nothing. Yes, this is a monarch of a business. The sit high on the backs of those who use their services. Please HEED my warning. If you value your dignity. Your property, your time having to redo everything the movers did because they couldn't understand you, placing heavy items on top of fragile, losing your stuff, workers who don't work and leave their trash. Go to home depot yourself and find helpers instead of giving your money to a dictatorship. read more

The movers were over an hour late and didn't call us until the appointment time. Why the 5 stars then? Because we contacted the main office who was 1. friendly 2. able to give us an explanation (truck broke down and the movers had to locate another truck) and 3. gave us a discount for the trouble. And the fact that they were able to provide that level of customer service made our very stressful day just a bit less stressful. Another reason for the high rating was that we received 3 grown adults that looked like they could each carry a couch on their own. Not only were they no nonsense, let's go go go, but they were incredibly professional. They wrapped everything perfectly and made sure to inform us whenever we had a preexisting scratch on a furniture. Yeah, I know... The last set of movers we rented from Uhaul ruined half my ish. But nonetheless, I appreciated how they were overly cautious with everything, taped the walls when needed and cleaned up after themselves. Absolutely great service and care! Moved from my upstairs condo to a new construction 3-story townhome in November neither had elevators and left not a single scratch on the wall. They even laid down red carpets for the new house. The 3 guys showed up right on time, and quickly started carefully wrapping up our big items and moving our prepackaged boxes. The movers showed up right on time and eager to get started and were intent on not wasting any of our time. The only problem comes with the care with some items. I watched as my under desk cable raceway was pulled off the desk by one of the guys, instead of just leaving it connected or unconnecting the c-clamps. I can only assume due to the pressure of getting things done quickly. Unfortunately it no longer sits flat on the desk anymore. Additionally a couple (2) small items since the move have not been found. I don't think they took them, I think in the hustle of trying to hurry they just got lost at some point. They're very small items so I can understand how that could happen. I think the guys did an overall great job but they seem to be under too much pressure to not waste time which causes mistakes or poor judgment. It's not their fault, this would be something they'd be instructed to do. Overall I think everyone should be aware of the pressure these guys seem to be under, due to it being an hourly agreement, and how that can affect your times. It can result in damage or lost items like it did with me, so make sure to be aware and/or okay with that when you book. Even worse is as soon as they were done we were told we had to sign a form to verify everything went smoothly. We'll it didn't. read more

This was a cheaper option and sometimes you get what you pay for. This company does not carry/offer sufficient insurance to cover damages caused. This company made a lot of promises but did not deliver. I had to be extremely hands on to manage the team to ensure that they wrapped my furniture the way discussed and agreed during the booking. When I told the team lead that they were stacking and scratching wood furniture and not wrapping upholstered furniture as agreed, he argued with me and I had to walk him over and show him. When the furniture was delivered, they were told to leave everything wrapped but they did not follow instructions. They used a box cutter to cut wrapping that we owned off my brand new unused upholstered bed. They cut the upholstery of the bed and also cut their hand and dripped blood on the carpet and bed. We told them to not try to clean the blood but again they did not follow instruction and rubbed the upholstery to clean the blood and ruined the texture of the fabric and removed the color from the fabric. The company only offered $2.50 per pound of the bed. Wood furniture that was made from distressed wood was unable to be repaired and no resolution was offered. The company sent repair person for scratched furniture but cracks and split wood was not able to be repaired. The team slid furniture on the wood floor of our brand new home and scratched the floor. The company never acknowledged our home damage claim. The company stopped responding and sent a check for $300. I have had to submit a claim to the Better Business Bureau and contact an attorney. **UPDATE** Response to Prince Mover comment: Even the best teams make mistakes and it is not appropriate to deny mistakes and argue with customers. Office manager, Kary, yelled at me and was extremely rude and unprofessional and eventually wrote an apology. However, moving is stressful and no one should have to deal with being treated this way. Raising any issues was always met with an argument util they stopped responding. I even left John voice messages about how I was treated and he never responded. I filed a BBB claim and they haven't even responded to that. John is only responding now because he doesn't want potential future customers to know how they treat you after they have your money and you are depending on them for your move. Prince Mover comment is inaccurate and misrepresents facts. This is the tactic of this company when you raise an issue. Yes, I said that the wood furniture repair that was able to be done was acceptable. But what about the damage that was not able to be repaired? I responded to every question and agreed to be available each time requested. No remedy was ever offered for the items that were not able to be repaired. I have only requested replacement of items that were not able to be repaired. Because something had a scratch does not mean that movers are not responsible for cracks. $2.50 per pound is not fair for wood furniture and upholstered bed that were not able to be repaired. $300 is not even close to the value of one item let alone all items damaged that were not repairable. Home damage was immediately reported in writing and photos were included. Email follow ups repeatedly reminded that the home damage claim had not been acknowledged. read more

Called them for a quote and spoke to Karey. She sent me an email with all the info and I wanted to proceed with their service...but then got nothing. So I called again and was told Karey was busy but would call me back...and I can clearly hear the two women giggling. I wait another day and still nothing but get sent a contract to sign that doesn't even include information about what I need. I sign anyway hoping to move things along and get nothing. No call or email. I'm honestly glad they didn't get my CC because it was a waste of time and almost scam-like. The BBB won't even accredit them. You'd be better off getting some guys outside UHaul. Edit: I see this company has an answer for everything that is not their fault. I got 1 email after calling the first time. I got 1 auto-email to sign a document. 0 calls. Nothing in Spam. We hired Prince Movers to move our furniture from our top floor to our bottom floor to get ready for some house repair. Elder and Alfredo did an AMAZING job. They handled the furniture with care, and they put protective paper/plastic on everything that needed it. We had two dogs underfoot, and they were very accommodating as we transfered the dogs from room to room to keep them out of the movers' way. WOW. Calling Prince Movers' in-house (non-contractor) employees "heroes" is accurate! The high-energy, incredibly hard-working four-man team blew our expectations out of the water. They arrived right on time, and instantly attacked a room stacked high with boxes with speed and care. They taped things up when needed, and graciously offered to take even things I hadn't had time to pack. Everyone was really professional, answering questions with a smile, despite my eye-popping decade of hoarded junk to move. They efficiently disassembled a whole queen bed, and reassembled it at the new house. And capably removed our front door so a large crib could pass, then put it securely back on, without any homeowner attention needed. These truly stellar movers saved the day.
