very disappointed with the customer service. i went there today for a shipping return and the girl with bangs who "assisted" me talked to me in a rude, degrading tone when i asked a question about my QR code from happy returns. i went to a different location and the associate there mentioned that they should have been able to assist me with the return. i'm not sure about how these things usually work but regardless, the girl didn't need to be unpleasant, lousy, and rude. read more

After being told by fed ex that they can only help people with us passports this place was astounding. The manager helped me get digital British passport photos and put them on a jump drive. When I got home the files were corrupted. I called back 2 days later and they emailed them. Outstanding customer service. Reserved my uhaul online and chose the mobile 24/7 pick up. I got there, started the mobile pick up process, couldn't find the truck and it turns out one wasn't assigned to me. Now, I had to wait in line for the only employee to help me like I never even had a reservation. Basically like a walk in...sigh. I'm not a complaining about the employee, just the entire process was complete garbage given that it was supposed to be easier and more convenient. Wouldn't recommend renting here. read more

Good customer service is this stores policy it would seem. The prices are very reasonable and better than that of Kinkos from my understanding. The store had moved from a smaller location into a bigger location, which is a nice relief from the cramped feeling one would get inside the smaller store. There is more than just a copy machine, there is postcards, boxes, truck rentals, notary, practically anything you could ask for, even a Butterfinger Bar. The service is amazing, and if these establishments had a tip jar, I'd be very inclined to drop a dollar in it, for a $.75 transparency. Highly recommended for all your postal and copying needs; also there is a computer with access to the internet you may use if want to yelp in a random place :-P read more

Saw this nearby shop also had UHaul trucks & moving equipment & items. Called ahead to confirm with the employee that they had an appliance dolly that I could rent in order to move a large piece of furniture in my home. Man was unsure but then told me yes they had one and that they were closing soon. I said I was a couple minutes away and he said that would be fine. I arrived before closing & when I walked in I saw three employees behind the counter and told them I was the one that called about the dolly. The employee I spoke with on the phone said "actually we don't rent them, they are reserved for our truck renters." I then asked if there was anytime I could rent the dolly (I totally understand the weekend is a busy time and lots of people are moving and was happy to wait until a weekday) An older male employee sharply yelled at me "No, they are reserved for the people that rent trucks. Those people need them." His entire demeanor was inappropriate for someone working in customer service. The frustrating thing is on the UHaul website it says they have them on hand, then you have employees telling you on the phone they have them for rent as well. If it's their policy to only rent to people getting trucks I'm ok with that, just don't talk to me like I'm insane for wanting to rent a dolly at a store that advertises they rent UHaul trucks and moving equipment/supplies. I will give thanks to the nice female employee who told me that trying one of the larger UHaul exclusive stores because they normally have more equipment on hand. Completely terrible customer service. It isn't that they said NO it's HOW they said it. read more

I was in a rush to get something printed and these guys helped me out! Within a hour, I was able to send in my job and walk out with it printed and paid for. They called me within 15 minutes to check on the details of how I wanted the file printed and to get a better version of a poorly formatted file. While one of my copies wasn't quite what I wanted and the misprint was pretty obvious, the guys at Postal Annex were very helpful and on top of things. The next time I need to rush a print job, I'll know where to go. Also, I've learned to only send PDF files from now on. :P read more

This place is a one stop shop. You can get keys made, buy super hero stamps, and best of all return your U-Haul! Returning a U-Haul can be a little tricky. Where the heck do you return a U-Haul in the middle of a commercial parking lot? There is a little little sign under Postal Annex that says U-Haul. I had to go in and inquire what to do with the damn thing. It's easy. Drive around the Sports Basement (when you see WaMu) into the back parking lot and a sales associate will meet you. The return is quick. All they do is park the U-Haul and print you out a receipt. Woo-hoo. read more

I have been visiting this postal annex for years. I have had nothing but positive experiences. I have dropped off packages without paying for any kind of postage and the employees have always kindly accepted my packages. When purchasing postage, employees have been thorough in reviewing shipping rates and options and have offered to seal packages at no extra charge. I have rented a Uhaul from this location without incident. I have nothing but good things to say about this location and I would recommend anyone with any shipping needs to support this local business. read more

After completing an online order and online check in, advertising that I would be able to start my Uhaul rental without standing in line, I was forced to stand in line 40 minutes just to pick up the key. He said that I was being difficult and that I was wasting his time and to never come back because he will never serve me again. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Never, ever EVERRRRR use this place for a uhaul pick up. We are moving and reserved a truck to pick up over a week ago. We were scheduled to pick up at 7 AM, which is before they open, but they offer online, person-less pick up. When we arrived at 7 AM, and I signed in to get truck, the reservation advised there were no trucks assigned to my reservation. I called the person whose number is listed as "24/7" service - his phone was off. I left a voicemail urging him to call me to help me... It is now after 9 AM, the store is open, and no call back. I attempted to pick up my package at this location, and they sent my package back to sender. I only had one day available to pick up my package, and they closed their store on a day where it was supposed to be open (July 3rd). They did not update their site or even put a sign on the door saying that they were closed that day. The reason that I chose this location was because it was open on Sundays, and that is the only day of the week that I have open to run errands. I called a couple of days later to ask about it, and the man on the phone was very rude. He told me that "it was a holiday". Last time I checked, July 3rd was not a holiday. I drove several miles out of my way to get my package.I will not ever send anything through that location again. And it is making me doubt the service and professionalism of other Postal Annex stores. read more

I went into this establishment 10 days ago to return a jacket from Nordstroms and needed to use 12 inches of packing tape to seal the box. A middle aged man with a mustache was extremely rude telling me that they aren't paid on these sorts of shipments as Nordstroms has prepaid the return label. I was being very polite in thanking him and even offered to pay for the tape however he was still quite miffed when I left the store. Fast forward to today and upon checking the tracking number nothing has been scanned and there is no record of the package being sent out. I go in to see what happened an low and behold who is working. He immediately remembered me and looked a bit concerned when our eyes met as if he knew something was amiss and he was caught. All he said was I cant help you since you didnt send it through us. Now I'm out $220 for a jacket with no recourse other than to let people know not to go to this store! Use the UPS store by Safeway the woman there was super nice and didnt bitch when I asked for some tape on a return I did last month. Horrible customer service. Or rather, NO customer service. I went in here recently to fax something and the guy seemed uninterested and annoyed that I was there. No hello. No smiles. Nothing but his back to my face. It was about 11am. It's a small neighborhood business and he made no attempt to socialize or offer any pleasantries. Until another young gentleman came in that he started visiting with during my transaction. I've frequented some other UPS and postal stores in the area that offer great customer service with a personal touch. I will be giving my business to those people instead. read more

It's the middle of December 2015 which I'm sure is the cause of a busy day for this business. The older, bald man who helped me was quite grouchy. Got upset when I printed the labels 2x, I explained that I didn't know it came out of the printer behind the counter since there was a mini label printer next to the computer I used. I offered to pay for the paper but he said forget it. I forgot to put something inside the box (which I sealed at home), I apologized, but he still got upset. Customers service is so bad during the holidays which is why I avoid personal transactions during this time. But sometimes its unavoidable. Still it's no excuse for the bad attitude. He looked like he could be the owner so I'd expect him to be happy about the business but apparently not. Anyway, I'd like to think that his bitterness is part age, part the season. So should I need something mailed, I MAY think about coming back. I gave it 2 stars but I thought that man probably isn't always this grumpy . Hopefully service will be better. read more

As always, Bob & his team made getting my item packaged and mailed easy. I've been using this store for many years now, mainly to mail packages and occasionaly to rent a UHaul. I love how I can leave my item, pay for the shipping & packaging, and go on my way. They always get it wrapped and shipped. So much easier than going to the Post Office. Last week I went here to send a package and needed some tape to seal the top of the package and instead of providing the tape I got a mouthful of unnecessary comments. A middle aged man with glasses and a mustache was being very rude saying they are not supposed to provide packaging supplies,and I even said I would pay for it, but he kept going on and on with his rude comments. I felt very uncomfortable and just kept apologizing. I don't think customer service is supposed to be that way. Do not go to this Postal Annex unless you want rude and poor customer service. You will get much better service at the one by Safeway in the Countrywood Plaza, they always have great service! read more

I used one Star because I could not use Zero Stars. Buyer beware. Staff is nice and great until something goes wrong then like roaches when you turn the lights on they "disappear". Do not ship with them the don't properly inform you (nor is it posted) that if there is an issue and you need to file a claim you cannot they have to file it for you and you have no property rights. Contractually it in their interest to state that they packaged and shipped the item properly. Ask questions when they " sell" you insurance, like "who is the carrier", " how do I file a claim if I have to" etc. They "sell" a value declaration which they and the carrier "choose" to settle. When I called to file a claim the person their who handles claims literally told me " they always reject claims and never settle". So knowing this they "sold" me "insurance". Buyer Beware read more

NEVER AGAIN... I rented a van from this location. The discussion included that we would be returning it after hours the next day. Before leaving, I made a special trip back into the office to ask if our car would be okay parked in back where the Uhaul vans and trucks are located. And I was told "Sure." When we returned the next evening, we discovered the gas had been siphoned out of our personal vehicle. And there was a small dent where the purpitrator had pryed open the gas cap. I called the next day to simply inform them, and discovered they already knew that was a problem back there! I got no relief from the owner, who simply referred me to Uhaul customer service. Nothing from them, either. Granted, I learned a lesson. But Uhaul (especially this location) will not get my business again. No one seemed to understand that my issue was NOT that it had happend. But that when I reported it I was told it was a known problem! read more

Been to this location a few times and always leave with no complaints, everything runs smoothly, and I'm in and out in under 10 mins! This most recent time I was helped out by Jimmy and he was beyond helpful and knew all the answers to my questions! The process to shipping my packages went smoothly. (they were even already all packed in usps flat rate boxes and they still shipped them at the usps rate) He also informed me that they do passport photos and no appt needed! They advertise that they have notary services. Went over on Monday around 3 PM and the two clerks told me the notary wasn't available, to come back Tuesday. As I had to work the next day, I asked what the latest was I could get there - and they told me 6. Walked in on Tuesday at exactly 5:45 PM, two other folks working at the desk (two customers leaving) and was told "no, we don't do notary after 5:30 PM. Drove down to the UPS Store in Encina Grande hoping, and sure enough the gentleman there was happy to notarize my two signatures - stopped in at Safeway, got some food and was in my car headed home at 6:15 PM. No reason to go to this place again. read more

Used their services on 1/8/18 to priority mail an important ENVELOPE to Iowa. Cost $10.43 (post office actual cost was only about $6.50, so they charged ALOT for their service) to include tracking. Envelope STILL hasn't made it out of WC/Oakland & NO ONE KNOWS WHERE IT IS! We've tried tracking it & talking with a clerk in the WC post office. Won't be considered "lost" for 60 days. The other reviews are about the great service, which is also what made me want to hop on Yelp the minute I got home and write a review. These folks are fantastic! I came for moving boxes, and started helping myself to the biggest boxes I could find. The lady at the till asked if they were for shipping or moving, and when I said moving, she pointed me to some other boxes in the back that were almost the same size, and a third the price. And she did it in this great "oh! let me show you these!" way, and not at *all* in a way to make me feel dumb. Really friendly, really helpful. The only reason this is 4 and not 5 stars is I *hate* the shopping center these guys are in. It's hard to get into/out of, and the parking is pretty bad. read more
