Excellent service from Copymat. I was shopping around for a place to photocopy numerous documents that were easily above 100 pieces and I was appalled when I initially tried Staples at how they jacked up the prices lately for self-service photocopies. I tried FedEx / UPS store (only nominally less by a few cents, the Local Library in Concord (too inconvenient because they only accept dollar bills), and a printing press in Concord (equally comparable to copymat but they closed by the time I got out of work). I was in and out in less than 10 mins and I paid 50-60% less than what I would have paid for at FedEx or UPS store. I will definitely come back here if I need photocopy needs. read more

We came here for the Notary service, and we were not at all disappointed. The notary is the business owner, who gave us his full attention in doing all the tasks that notaries do when witnessing the signature of an important document. He dutifully checked our IDs, and ensured that all the paperwork, fingerprints and logging were done carefully and properly. Best of all, each signature was very inexpensive, as we only had two signatures to be recorded - $15/signature, which is the going rate for getting notary services at a local copy/mail/package estabilshment like this. Yes, we shopped around! And best of all, the notary at Copymat is always here, unlike other package shipping/copy places where notary services aren't always available. I would not hesitate to call upon Copymat again for future notary duties in this area! Thanks Copymat, you got the job done for us! read more

Copymat Walnut Creek - Outside - Printing Services Near Me - Walnut Creek, California

First of all, I love Shawn. After my first couple of visits, we got to chatting, and now, I look forward to needing to go to Copymat because he's so nice. Usually, I go there to print photos for framing; once or twice, I've had to send something via certified mail. Each time, Shawn has been so pleasant, and I've gotten exactly what I asked for at a really decent price. It's one of my favorite local businesses. read more

I had a wonderful experience here! I came in to print wedding programs after struggling to format the document myself, and Shawn made the whole process easy and enjoyable! He was extremely helpful and was able to give me the exact information I needed to adjust my document. They printed 150 programs in less than a few hours. Would highly recommend! read more

If you are in the need of notarized documents, passport picture taken, printing needs and Live Scan fingerprints, I highly recommend Copymat on North Main Street in Walnut Creek. The owner, Shawn Shamloo provides excellent customer service and is patient and knowledgeable. He loves what he does and is a proud business owner! They have a wonderful selection of greeting cards from Papyrus that are reasonably priced. Keep in mind that they are in a business district that has a lot of great restaurants and bars so the parking can be challenging at times. They do have free parking directly across the street and down the block near Wells Fargo. Several customers were very happy with the service he provides. I enjoyed supporting this local small business. read more

I can't recommend Copymat Walnut Creek enough. As a paralegal at a local firm, I recently had an urgent, large-scale printing project with a fast-approaching trial deadline. On Wednesday, February 18, I reached out needing two full sets of trial documents totaling more than 5,400 pages, with everything completed before the following Monday. After calling multiple large chain print shops and being told the turnaround wasn't possible, I contacted Copymat and spoke with Shawn, the owner. Shawn and his team immediately stepped in with professionalism, clear communication, and a genuine willingness to help. They completed the entire project by Friday morning, allowing me to finalize everything by Friday afternoon and stay fully on track for trial. The quality of the work was excellent, the turnaround was incredibly fast, and the customer service truly went above and beyond. It was a huge relief during a stressful week, and I'm extremely grateful for their help. Copymat Walnut Creek absolutely saved the day for our firm, and we will definitely continue using their services. Experiences like this are exactly why supporting local small businesses matters. read more

I went here for a simple printing job and the service was amazing. I will be back with more business.

They made 200 programs for us on same day requested. Responsive, fast and way cheaper than Staples!

So speedy and easy! Walked in to get passport photos updates and was out in 10 minutes. They looked great too! Thank you

Shawn, the proprietor here, is exceptionally helpful as he is exceptionally competent and accommodating with just about any printing project or service presented to him. And he also takes the highest, photo studio-quality passport picture you will ever get taken anyplace. Not only that, but he's just an extraordinary gentleman to boot. read more

Copymat is an excellent local business in Walnut Creek. They have helped my company print out a multitude of documents, sometimes over 100 copies, all in the same afternoon. The convenience they provide of being able to send a file in by email, in order to have the copies printed & ready when you arrive at the store is SO beneficial. Plus, they offer a great price for their products and services! Shawn and his team do a stellar job running this operation!! read more

Classic Walnut Creek small business. Owner is very friendly and pleasant to be around. Handles all of your needs with ease. Please support and keep these businesses alive in this tough economy! read more

I just want to say that had a very good experience at Copymat in Walnut Creek. I went there last week to get a loose-leaf textbook bounded. As you can see in the photos, Shawn did an impeccable job. He was very helpful in choosing the ideal binding for my textbook. Now, I can use my textbook with so much ease! The worse thing about a loose-leaf textbook is that the pre-punched holes tend to break when you flip the pages and then you have to apply hole-punch reinforcement labels which can be time-consuming. I'm planning on going back to Copymat Walnut Creek for various other services like color printing since I don't have a color printer. Shawn will print your document if you email it to him and then you can just go pick it up! Super convenient, that way you don't have to fuss with the printing hardware, ever! I highly recommend Copymat Walnut Creek for all of your copying, printing, binding and all other office/secretarial needs. read more

Service was quick, efficient, and no nonsense. Got my passport photos taken here, as well as some copies of my personal documents. The older man running the store printed them on really nice paper, like bougie photo quality paper which was cool (not necessary but still cool). Since every printer I've ever had has taken a dump on me, I'll be returning here if I ever need anything printed. read more

I tried to have Copymat Walnut Creek help me with two printing projects. I sent files to get their feedback, they suggested an edit, when I sent them a revised, they said, "I cannot help you with this project". I do work in events and deal with printers ALL the time and for a company to just say they won't work with you without any reason of explanation is really awful customer service. I would not recommend. There are PLENTY of printers out there with A+ customer service and this is not one of them. I never write reviews ever and definitely felt the need to for this one. Responding to the owners note: The aesthetic of the print WAS for the words to be cut off at the edge, which I explained. I also attached a photo to show you that. You did not give any reasoning for why you couldn't take it. I suggest you work on your customer service etiquette. read more

Love this place! The owner is nice and friendly. Good price and good service! Everything you need from fingerprinting, notary, copying, and more. Just across the street from the UPS store. Come to Copymat and Save $$$! read more

Came in to drop off a box with a prepaid label (return item to Lowe's hardware). Box was totally intact except it required three pieces of tape across the top to seal it shut. I was informed it was going to be a $2 charge to tape the box. The reason I was given? They ship 10 packages return packages a day, with prepaid vendor labels, (which they don't make money on) and the business has to pay for the tape so they pass that cost on to the customer. I was shocked to say the least. What kind of business practice is that? That's like going into a restaurant and the server coming over after the meal and saying that you have to contribute to their water bill because they need to wash your dishes. Hey Copymat, ever heard the expression "cost of doing business?" Like water to wash dishes at a restaurant, tape is your cost of doing business. Speaking of business you'll NEVER have mine again. Addendum: I didn't have $2 in cash so I got charged a $.50 fee to use my credit card. read more

The proprietor was extremely helpful, patient, and professional when I went in with a somewhat unusual color print job (custom cat calendars for family and friends). The finished product was way better than I expected for a very reasonable price. read more

Shawn is the best! He makes things so easy and smooth. I emailed in documents to print the morning of and I received a reply that my order was ready before the time I requested to pick up. He even helped with taking my passport photos. I didn't ask about pricing beforehand but I was pleasantly surprised with the cost with the amount of things I requested. Great service! Shawn is always so knowledgeable with printing and copying questions. He's efficient and quick. Fast service and one stop shop for all your printing, copying and mailing needs. I walked in to print some passport photos and the person asked me to wait since he have a big job on his hand and after 20 minutes he asked me to send the photo to the stores email and then objected that the sizes are not original so I have to send another one and waited till he finishes his other works and he printed me the full A4 letter size photos all in one page , when I asked him to cut it in individually he start yelling that I didn't mention to cut it but just print. Then he shredded all the photos and said we don't do print for passport photos unless you take the photo here. I'm very disappointed and was really upset about this and I recommend to all , do not do any business here other wise you will get disappointed and not get any job done here. read more

I went here yesterday to take my passport photos. They were really friendly and kind. I used Copymat several times for their notary service. Never had to wait. Knowledgeable owner made process go smoothly every time.

Great service! Owner/manager was responsive to my message via Yelp, and we were able to get the following completed: two sets of card fingerprints (they also have livescan), color copy of ID, notarized signature, and registered mail, and the owner/manager was friendly and patient with me - as I was assembling a very large, involved registration packet for a professional license. Thank you Copymat! read more

I brought a package in to have it shipped via FedEx. The package was boxed and ready to go, it just needed a final piece of tape over the top and the manager told me it would be $2 to use his tape. Really? $2 for a piece of tape? They don't provide a receipt either, just a place to leave your box so it (hopefully) makes it to FedEx. I'll take my business elsewhere, thank you. read more

We needed to get a document notarized and this was the only place opens before 10. When we went in, the owner was on the phone so we patiently waited for about 5 minutes and he picked up another phone call. He didn't bother to say a single word during, not even a smile or a nod or apologize. We did the notarization anyway and another customer walked in who is an Indian, he suddenly became so nice, greeting him and ask him what he could help while he was helping us. He rushed me when I wrote the address for USPS certified mail for like a minute. By the way the post office charges way less for this service than this place. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you are in the owner's preferred ethnic group because this is pure unpleasant for us. read more

Wife and I needed to get some docs notarized and this place took care of our business very professionally as well as pleasantly. The Copymat is right across the street from Walnut Creek PD, so make note of it, don't do stupid s__t like the guy who made a U-turn in front of it (slaps palm on forehead) as we were pulling into our parking space! Price per signature was $10 each. I don't know what else I can say except we were treated very well and plan to return for our copying or notary needs. One tip: call ahead to make sure there's a notary before going in. read more

These five stars are all to the credit of one woman who was working the store. I don't know her name but she was amazing. One of the printers was jammed so I had to wait a little while just to print one sheet of paper. She was very concerned about my wait time and kept checking in to see if I was in a hurry. She also called everyone who came into the store "love" which won me over instantly. I waited about 15 minutes to print my one sheet and then she said "that one's on me, you waited too long!" Such a delight to find warm and personable service even in a hurried environment where everyone is trying to get a last minute printing job done. read more
