$5 to scan 1 page?! I did not have the time to go to Fed-X or some other place. Was expecting maybe $2 at most but was charged $5 today. Was no point in arguing as the employees don't set the price. If the owner wants to explain his/her egregious fee I'm all ears. read more

Shipped and paid for 2nd day air and was not delivered. made 3 trips to the store to get a refund for the difference between the cost of 2nd & 3rd day air and never was able to get my money back. Next time I need some delivered in a timely manner I will go with Fedex. The sore was never able to help me. Tht's where the problem lies. Ther are many other UPS stores to go to so I will not be goingthereagain. :( read more

I have had two seperate returns mysteriously go "missing" in the past 3 months after being scanned in at this store. While I hate to assume the worst of anyone, this is the only store I have EVER had this issue. Really disappointing all around, as a customer we intrust you to handle our items, it's not some business that pays for these items going missing, it's everyday people like myself. I will be avoiding this store at all costs and instead going to the Main St. location. In the meantime I sincerely hope ownership checks the cameras and does the right thing - I am confident I'm not the only person having these issues with this store. read more

I will go out of my way to never come back here again. A woman helped me here and she was beyond rude. I have always had great experiences at UPS but man! I would ask questions and get the "blank stare of irritation" from her. She just seemed miserable. I truly felt like I did something wrong as a person/customer by coming in here. Mind you, I was very polite. I have worked customer service and I know how horrible customers can be. This is in an area that could warrant some "Karen" like behavior but I was super polite. Granted, I wouldn't want to see this girl engage with a rude person, they would be torn to shreds. All of this to say, the customer experience is just that. Experience! These guys are jerks. this is my third time struggling with their customer service. They do a ton of returns (and probably make a lot of money) off of Amazon, Nike and other e-commerce. The last time I was here, they wanted to charge me $2.50 to tape up an envelope. this time my Nike shipment came in two boxes, but the return only provided one barcode. Rather than just tape my boxes together for me they wanted to sell me a big plastic envelope or another box and tape. All the other UPS stores have gone to are happy to tape something together for free. These guys feel predatorial and I'm not gonna use them anymore. There's a nice family run business by non-predatory jerks on Tice Valley Road and I'm willing to make the drive just to avoid supporting this kind of greedy selfish BS. Wow just read all the bad reviews for this store. Wish I had checked before returning an Amazon purchase that mysteriously disappeared. It was dropped off and the girl said they don't give receipts. It's a courtesy to take back Amazon purchases with a shipping label. I checked the usps tracking and no sign of it. I went to the store and was told they don't document what they take in or ship out! Really that's how you run a shipping store? The return was supposed to go to China so I guess that's $75 I'll never seen again. The staff who answered the phone told me to come in for help and when I arrived the guy working acted like they did me a favor by taking the return and wasn't about to look for the package in the store and said they kept no records. read more

Not a good experience dealing with the store at 1555 Botelho Dr. First they said they didn't have my package to pick up. Then they found it. Avoid this location at all costs. The girl (had bleached/colored hair) who was working there has absolutely no manners and really needs a refresher course. This was my second time encountering her and I really wanted to get her name. However, she wasn't wearing her name badge, like she's looking to pick fights with whoever she feels like talking down on. Back to my visit, I came in to return an Amazon package. It wasn't those type of returns where you just bring in the item itself without packaging it back up, so I came in with the item in its original box AND taped up all the sides ready to be shipped out. The girl then looks at the box and gets all diva-like on me saying "umm, where's the actual box with the shipping label on it when you first received it?" Wtf? First of all, why would I bring back the original shipping label when the return label is going to be placed over it anyway? She then proceeded to tell me that Amazon would not accept my return just because I didn't have the original box with the shipping label. Well, joke's on her, I got a notification from Amazon that my return was accepted and I got my refund. Drive down another quarter of a mile on Main Street and you'll find another UPS location. Albeit small and a total pain to find parking, the man with the tattoos on his arms is really nice over there. Shame on this location! read more

I needed to print 600 pages for work, however as it is such a long process I was struggling to finish in a timely manner. Seema didn't hesitate to help. she and her husband came after hours and did all the printing work for me. I've paid a visit to this store several times (out of convenience) but I regularly use a different location out of preference.I was recently at the Botelho office and once again...I did not leave happy. On both instances I've been assisted by the same gentleman who is slightly rude. My biggest issue is that I was quoted a price and then they added three additional charges. When I've gone to other locations they have never done this and I'm quoted the same price as to what I eventually pay. Based on other reviews I read over the weekend it seems like other customers have dealt with the same issue. For one shipped box I paid $10 more--granted it was going a little further BUT I still paid less when I shipped to Virginia for the same type of box, and the same item. The person helping me tried to make it seem like the prices are all fixed and they don't change anything but I don't quite think that's true. I doubt I will come here again and will stick to my other UPS locations. read more

I was extremely upset with the ethics of this business. Non-transparent, unpredictable, and slightly predatorial service today. I was in a position where I needed notarization for a mortgage and FEMA disaster relief closing. This is on a home where a hurricane nearly destroyed my home in Florida. I am a travel nurse here to help the community. The closing cost from the state was less expensive than my notary, scan, and mail bill. The UPS Store owner charged me over and above, which is more costly than the closing costs!!! I questioned several things on the bill and did not receive an explanation. I had already done the scanning and received the notary, but the bill was outrageous and not what I expected. Predatorial since I was in a vulnerable state, and they knew it. Very unfortunate. No itemized receipt was received; it was just a shipping number receipt. read more

I rarely write reviews but the folks at the UPS store on Botelho Drive near the Container Store were the only business of the five I reached out to that actually answered there phone at 4:30 pm on a Monday evening. Not only that, but they greeted me when I entered the store. Who does that these days? And to top it off, they took care of me right away even though another client was ahead of me. Instead of making me wait, they called another person from the back to help me. The young man completed the live scan fingerprinting in a professional and cordial manner taking the time to make small talk. The best service I've had since COVID struck 18 months ago. I shipped something overnight must arrive by noon the next day, instead it arrived in 48 hrs so it had spoiled. Went to the store and was given the run around. Was told to call UPS and after 50 minutes talking to many people they said I had to ba k to the store. Went back to the store the guy at the counter called the owners and I was told they would get back to be in 48hrs still waiting. Next stop small claims court read more

Trip 1. Brought in a return and the employee put the shipping label over a piece of tape. Label ended up ripping, resulting in the package being returned to my apartment 2 days later Trip 2. Brought back package with obviously ripped label due to wrong placement and they tell me there is nothing they can do for me. No way to reprint or reprocess label. Now have to get a new return code from the seller and hope I can find a UPS location that knows what they're doing for my third trip. Waste of my time. Shouldn't take 3 trips to process a return and employees should be more useful when issue is clearly caused by them. read more
