Online hours say till 6:30pm, this sign says 5:30.. also would it kill you guys to give better directions of the new store address. "Across the street from Kaiser parking", write the actual address on there. I drove around for 20 mins just to get here at 5:38 and the store to be closed. Complete waste of time and gas. read more

The UPS Store - Online hours say till 6:30pm, this sign says 5:30 - Shipping Centers Near Me - Walnut Creek, California

Dear UPS of Walnut Creek:: You guys have the most amazing employees. I want to put the spotlight on Laura and the gentleman whose name I can't remember! Every time I come in to mail or return clothes, they're so helpful. So kind. Willing to do anything to make the process more efficient and pleasant. Not every UPS location is like this. I go out of my way to frequent this specific location, because of your staff. Thank so much Laura for all that you do. Thank you for smiling at everyone that walks through your doors. You have no idea how much of a difference you make in my day. read more

Never, ever again. The old location had a difficult parking lot but business could generally get down if you got the right employee. In the new location on Newell, you're in for $3.50 in parking before you even begin. 5 minute task? One hour of paid parking. That's your option. I needed a document notarized. When the single employee in the construction site store was kind enough to put her personal cell phone down to ask what I wanted, she said there was no notary scheduled and that I could come back three hours later. Smug and crappy. Awful. Never again. Too many good choices to put up with this crap. read more

Laura was fantastic. Set up a new P.O. Box, I was in and out in ten minutes. Super professional, on top of the paperwork. So glad this is my new UPS Store! (This was my first day in my new hometown btw...nice way to start it!) read more

Haresh was very accommodating and friendly. He went above and beyond to support me with my return package! Very professional and helpful. Thanks so much. read more

$5 to scan 1 page?! I did not have the time to go to Fed-X or some other place. Was expecting maybe $2 at most but was charged $5 today. Was no point in arguing as the employees don't set the price. If the owner wants to explain his/her egregious fee I'm all ears. read more

Excellent excellent UPS store! Owner exceptional knows everything you need for notary very detailed ! She has helped me on many things that I had to get notarized. She was so so very helpful to me.!!! I find the whole staff very helpful and friendly . read more

Needed a notary. Was in and out within 10 minutes. $15, much less than even online notaries, and friendly service. Can't recommend this place enough! read more

Problematical shipping situation made easy thanks to the friendly, professional, helpful service by EDMOND. And the parking at the Botelho Drive location is as good as it gets. THANKS! read more

Liam really went out of his way to accommodate my special situation. Above and beyond their usually excellent service!

Shipped and paid for 2nd day air and was not delivered. made 3 trips to the store to get a refund for the difference between the cost of 2nd & 3rd day air and never was able to get my money back. Next time I need some delivered in a timely manner I will go with Fedex. The sore was never able to help me. Tht's where the problem lies. Ther are many other UPS stores to go to so I will not be goingthereagain. :( read more

Gentle men always happy to help in the evening quick with work even went left alone to attend store does every thing from shipping to notary to printing lo recomendó mucho! read more

I have had two seperate returns mysteriously go "missing" in the past 3 months after being scanned in at this store. While I hate to assume the worst of anyone, this is the only store I have EVER had this issue. Really disappointing all around, as a customer we intrust you to handle our items, it's not some business that pays for these items going missing, it's everyday people like myself. I will be avoiding this store at all costs and instead going to the Main St. location. In the meantime I sincerely hope ownership checks the cameras and does the right thing - I am confident I'm not the only person having these issues with this store. read more

I will go out of my way to never come back here again. A woman helped me here and she was beyond rude. I have always had great experiences at UPS but man! I would ask questions and get the "blank stare of irritation" from her. She just seemed miserable. I truly felt like I did something wrong as a person/customer by coming in here. Mind you, I was very polite. I have worked customer service and I know how horrible customers can be. This is in an area that could warrant some "Karen" like behavior but I was super polite. Granted, I wouldn't want to see this girl engage with a rude person, they would be torn to shreds. All of this to say, the customer experience is just that. Experience! I will come back when people are polite, and she was just super rude and made this visit unpleasant. I will go to the other location in WC to not bug this gal again LOL. read more

These guys are jerks. this is my third time struggling with their customer service. They do a ton of returns (and probably make a lot of money) off of Amazon, Nike and other e-commerce. The last time I was here, they wanted to charge me $2.50 to tape up an envelope. this time my Nike shipment came in two boxes, but the return only provided one barcode. Rather than just tape my boxes together for me they wanted to sell me a big plastic envelope or another box and tape. All the other UPS stores have gone to are happy to tape something together for free. These guys feel predatorial and I'm not gonna use them anymore. There's a nice family run business by non-predatory jerks on Tice Valley Road and I'm willing to make the drive just to avoid supporting this kind of greedy selfish BS. Go somewhere else so these guys go out of business. read more

Not a good experience dealing with the store at 1555 Botelho Dr. First they said they didn't have my package to pick up. Then they found it. The final straw was a $10 fee for holding my package for same day pickup. What a ripoff! I will do my best to avoid using this service in the future. This company lacks vision. read more

Arm and leg for service .they are way more expensive than any other place! It's ridiculous!! Charging $3 per first fax page and 2$ for each additional page.. it's rapping. Never go back there. read more

DO NOT USE FOR NOTARY! I arrived to get a notary, and the young lady assisting me was not helpful at all. I know they can not provide any legal advice, but I was like, she had never done a notary in the past. read more

Avoid this location at all costs. The girl (had bleached/colored hair) who was working there has absolutely no manners and really needs a refresher course. This was my second time encountering her and I really wanted to get her name. However, she wasn't wearing her name badge, like she's looking to pick fights with whoever she feels like talking down on. Back to my visit, I came in to return an Amazon package. It wasn't those type of returns where you just bring in the item itself without packaging it back up, so I came in with the item in its original box AND taped up all the sides ready to be shipped out. The girl then looks at the box and gets all diva-like on me saying "umm, where's the actual box with the shipping label on it when you first received it?" Wtf? First of all, why would I bring back the original shipping label when the return label is going to be placed over it anyway? She then proceeded to tell me that Amazon would not accept my return just because I didn't have the original box with the shipping label. Well, joke's on her, I got a notification from Amazon that my return was accepted and I got my refund. Drive down another quarter of a mile on Main Street and you'll find another UPS location. Albeit small and a total pain to find parking, the man with the tattoos on his arms is really nice over there. Shame on this location! read more

Wow just read all the bad reviews for this store. Wish I had checked before returning an Amazon purchase that mysteriously disappeared. It was dropped off and the girl said they don't give receipts. It's a courtesy to take back Amazon purchases with a shipping label. I checked the usps tracking and no sign of it. I went to the store and was told they don't document what they take in or ship out! Really that's how you run a shipping store? The return was supposed to go to China so I guess that's $75 I'll never seen again. The staff who answered the phone told me to come in for help and when I arrived the guy working acted like they did me a favor by taking the return and wasn't about to look for the package in the store and said they kept no records. read more

Employees are not friendly and polite. They are rude . Especially there is one girl works there she is really rude and cold.

I needed to print 600 pages for work, however as it is such a long process I was struggling to finish in a timely manner. Seema didn't hesitate to help. she and her husband came after hours and did all the printing work for me. Seema and her husband are very friendly, helpful reliable and exceeded my expectations of service! I really recommend using the service this UPS store. read more

Fantastic location. Wonderful customer service. If all the UPS locations I have been to this one was the cleanest, and most welcoming. They were very helpful, patient with my silly questions and made things easy for me. Highly recommend. read more

Caring, attentive, customer service is a lost art. There is something therapeutic about being instantly comforted by the genuine attention to detail and partnering in arranging for my shipping worries to evaporate with their trustworthy assistance. Whew....getting to the Botelho UPS store at closing on a Friday evening (truth be told it was a couple of minutes after closing and the door was locked) and absolutely needing to make sure trial binders arrived in Los Angeles by 8 AM Monday...no problem and no more worries. If you have shipping needs and must have it somewhere soon, look no further ...this is your place.... you'll rest easier when you do...I know I did. read more

Worst UPS I have been to. Long long wait for a simple package return and the lady was very inefficient and rude, seemed ready to pick a fight with everyone. Avoid this location. read more

I rarely write reviews but the folks at the UPS store on Botelho Drive near the Container Store were the only business of the five I reached out to that actually answered there phone at 4:30 pm on a Monday evening. Not only that, but they greeted me when I entered the store. Who does that these days? And to top it off, they took care of me right away even though another client was ahead of me. Instead of making me wait, they called another person from the back to help me. The young man completed the live scan fingerprinting in a professional and cordial manner taking the time to make small talk. The best service I've had since COVID struck 18 months ago. Keep up the good work! read more

* The first star is for its private parking lot, a rarity downtown Walnut Creek. * The second star is for the fastest Amazon return I've ever done, in and out in less than a minute. *Third star for the friendly staff who spoke so kindly to my toddlers. * Fourth star because she gave me a receipt without me needing to ask, in fact, she practically read my mind and I didn't have to explain why I was there. She was young but was clearly well trained, and knowledgeable. * Fifth star for the overall convenience and being my preferred location, nestled next to a bakery which serves cupcakes free of peanut cross contamination (we're anaphylactic), knowledge kid-friendly staff, fast Amazon returns, and for making life a little bit easier. read more

The UPS Store - The UPS Store- Fast and quick for Amazon returns, private parking lot, rarely lines, friendly staff - Shipping Centers Near Me - Walnut Creek, California

I've paid a visit to this store several times (out of convenience) but I regularly use a different location out of preference.I was recently at the Botelho office and once again...I did not leave happy. On both instances I've been assisted by the same gentleman who is slightly rude. My biggest issue is that I was quoted a price and then they added three additional charges. When I've gone to other locations they have never done this and I'm quoted the same price as to what I eventually pay. Based on other reviews I read over the weekend it seems like other customers have dealt with the same issue. For one shipped box I paid $10 more--granted it was going a little further BUT I still paid less when I shipped to Virginia for the same type of box, and the same item. The person helping me tried to make it seem like the prices are all fixed and they don't change anything but I don't quite think that's true. I doubt I will come here again and will stick to my other UPS locations. read more

I was extremely upset with the ethics of this business. Non-transparent, unpredictable, and slightly predatorial service today. I was in a position where I needed notarization for a mortgage and FEMA disaster relief closing. This is on a home where a hurricane nearly destroyed my home in Florida. I am a travel nurse here to help the community. The closing cost from the state was less expensive than my notary, scan, and mail bill. The UPS Store owner charged me over and above, which is more costly than the closing costs!!! I questioned several things on the bill and did not receive an explanation. I had already done the scanning and received the notary, but the bill was outrageous and not what I expected. Predatorial since I was in a vulnerable state, and they knew it. Very unfortunate. No itemized receipt was received; it was just a shipping number receipt. read more

I'm not the kind to usually review UPS stores but I must say that I've been here a few times and the service I have received has been nothing but great! The staff here are really nice and very efficient. I just felt like I was in an out. They were not a drag but were very fast and made sure that I picked the right shipping choice for my item. They also do live scans, packing and a whole lot of other things there. Will definitely make this my go to UPs store. read more
