Its been a little while since I've been here. And during that time and my recent visit it has led me to reassess this business. Also the answer from the owner(manager?) was very appreciated. I think he was genuine in trying to help and maybe didn't intend for her to leave. So I can appreciate that if i was in her position. So kudos to him! Now on to my recent visit. I am really surprised and actually quite shocked that for once someone actually cares about your money and your best value. I've frequented the UPS store to for shipments and let me tell you it costs an arm and a leg.. plus the soul of your first born child to ship something with their packaging and they don't even tell you how much it would be until AFTER you've used said supplies.. even a piece of TAPE costs money. After going through all that fiasco you end up just forking up the money. I was pleasently surprised when attempting to ship an item, that the owner/manager stepped in on behalf of his employee to assure that I knew the costs and best value of shipping my item PRIOR to packaging or filling out a form. He gave me the best options and even offered alternatives. In the end I did not end up shipping it because the cost was way more than the item was worth.(I was shipping it for a friend who would cover the shipping and they decided against it) I didn't feel rushed and they didn't make me feel like I wasted their time at all. They were extremely friendly and customer oriented. I REALLY, REALLY recommend their services. You get pricing from USPS, UPS and FedEx all on an easy to read screen. I will definitely be coming here again for all my shipping needs. read more

I am so thankful to Vimal! I had a package that I needed to send out at 3:30 on a Friday - overnight to the east coast. Vimal helped me find the right, and cheapest way to ship it, helped me with choosing the best size package to make it cheaper and he brought my stress level down to a manageable level. Thank you so so much! I now know where to go for my shipping needs in important situations! read more

Some of the nicest most helpful staff of an establishment I've done business with since moving back to the tri-valley. Vimal and the crew always made sure to inform me when my Amazon packages arrived. Only reason I closed my service was because I moved to Pleasanton with actual mail service. Highly recommended for all your postal services. read more

The best customer service. Staffs were nice all the time and price is reasonable too. I will come here in the future if i need to ship package to international. read more

I dropped in on a Friday afternoon needing some documents printed out real quick. PostalAnnex Staff was incredibly helpful in getting the job done quickly. Thank you! read more

Anytime I've gone in I'm helped in a timely matter by a friendly associate. The store is clean and well organized and they offer many different services. Parking is easy too! Front row every time so far. Definitely will be coming back, Postal Annex is an awesome alternative to the Post Office madness! read more

Excellent service here when needing to send out packages and also for notary services. Convenient location as well.

I've been here a few times now, twice now to renew my passport, and the staff here is so helpful. They know exactly what you need when sending it in, and both times they thoroughly checked over everything to make sure that you have everything and it is filled out properly. So helpful to someone who doesn't know what they're doing. read more

Vimal is truly amazing. As everyone else has said before me. Extremely personable, remembers my name each time I go in; true customer service like things used to be. I get fast friendly service, no lines and no hassle. Very happy I chose this facility to do business with! read more

I read the reviews here regarding this store ... and I wasn't disappointed. I needed passport photos, so I visited this store (based on the prior reviews). It's difficult to not restate the stellar comments previously submitted. The service was efficient and accurate (accuracy is important when taking passport photos). Additionally, the store associates were considerate. I was pleasantly surprised that they offered mobile payment services. The big plus, though, is the tidiness of the store. The shelves were neat and orderly. I've never seen a business of this ilk so clean and uncluttered. My thanks to the past reviewers ... and to the Postal Annex+ team at 2150 Portola Avenue D in Livermore. It was definitely worth the drive from Pleasanton. read more

Amazing Service and extremely friendly. They spend as much time as you need helping you and are never in a rush. Even if you're just dropping off mail to be shipped out, they always greet you, and say goodbye and thank you. I may be able to get my shipping supplies cheaper at a big box store, but I go to them exclusively because of the outstanding service I receive. read more

I try to do all my mailing through this Postal Annex+ to support this business. Vimal, the owner, is professional and friendly and always greets me by name. I always receive excellent, efficient service. read more

I have to admit, I am writing this based on one bad experience. However, all it takes is a single bad visit to keep me from coming back for life. My complaint is that the owner rushes through each customer so quickly to get to the next person in line without fully satisfying your needs. I needed his professional opinion and I felt that he blew me off in order to get to the next person in line faster. As a result, I grabbed my items & left his store without shipping something I needed done that day. I will not be returning as a result of this. read more

I have been randomly shipping here for a few years and I just had to give the owner a great review. The store is always clean and fully stocked. When you walk in you are always greeted with a smile. He keeps addresses you have shipped to before on a computer program, and he always tells you the different shipping options...which ones are cheaper or a better deal. He has great customer service and does a good job. I wish all places were run like this. read more

This place has awesome customer service! Everyone I have dealt with has been a pleasure. From passport photos to just dropping off packages, they are very friendly! NEVER again will I use the UPS Store. read more

Vimal and Mary were both so very helpful and kind. My son and I came in and I needed to get some legal documents sent to a paralegal asap. Vimal gave me a breakdown of the best options and the pricing available. No more UPS store for me. I'm so grateful for the kindness and helpfulness that I received. It's refreshing to be around people that really take pride in what they do, it shows! read more

As everyone else has stated, this place is the best. Very helpful and courteous staff and the manager's professionalism is as good as it gets. Been shipping through this location for years and have never had a problem. read more

My review is simple. This is a well run, professional and friendly business to deal with. The owner remembers many customers by name - several people walked in to check their P.O. boxes and received personal greetings. We ship many packages and always receive analysis of which carrier would serve us best and why. The ownership is sincere and clearly understands what being a specialty service provider is all about. Great job guys! read more

Love the sweet lady...Vimal! Great service and very professional but friendly too. I frequently send packages to my college kids and she and I catch up on them. read more

The owner Vimal is always very personable, very helpful, and willing to strike up a conversation. He tries to remember everyone's name and is quite good at it too. His store is clean, organized, and the other employees are friendly and helpful. Whether you're a newbie at shipping (like me), in a rush, or in some other situation, Vimal will help you explore your options. In addition to going over different services, he's helped me both find the right box size or resize my current box to bring down the shipping rate to a lower price tier. He explains the different options available, their advantages and disadvantages, so you can make the best choice for your situation. I remember when I was running late shipping a package via UPS. I had missed the UPS pickup for that day, but Vimal came to the rescue by calling the driver to find out his location. It turned out he was nearby, so I was able to catch him and send out my shipment for that day. This is just one of many examples where Vimal goes the extra distance to help you out. Highly recommended! read more

Went to the UPS store in Fremont for a notary on my Lease Agreement and was told that I needed a notary form and I needed to contact the people who are requesting my second proof of residency. I could tell the guy had no idea what he was doing. So, I came to this Postal Annex in Livermore close to work and was greeted in a professional manner by the associate Brendan. He told me the gentleman who does the notaries would be arriving in around 30 minutes, he took down my name and number and sure enough I got a call from the gentleman who does the notaries right around 30 minutes. His name is Vimal, he had his own form and worked efficiently to notarize my signature. He was extremely professional, assuring all of the customers waiting behind me that they would be helped shortly and I have no doubt that they were taken care of as well as I was. Thank you both so much for your professionalism. It is rare for me to have any type of postal needs but if they do arise, I will surely be giving my business to you. read more

I have used this place multiple times for shipping items and other things. This time I was given a shipping number that didn't track(which wasn't their fault) and was worried about the item I shipped because it was taking longer than usual to be delivered. I talked to Vimal and he worked tremendously hard every day for over a week to help me figure out what was going on. The item finally got delivered(the delay was due to a natural disaster by the way) and at the end of the day everyone is happy. If you need to ship anything out I highly recommend using this place and if Vimal is there you are definitely in luck. Thank you for all your hard work and helping me out. read more

Such awesome people working there! Very great service and they always have a great attitude. 10/10 definitely recommend them

Excellent customer service!! Definitely my favorite store for notary and postage services!!

Vimal is wonderfully personable - he runs a tight ship and when packages come he calls personally to remind you to come down. The store is always clean and orderly and everyone is great - what more can you ask? This is a great place to have your packages sent to when you don't want to have people know where you live - a great security idea for anyone who buys and sells on Ebay or Craig's List. read more
