Chicken and waffles
Cindi W.

Decided to come here for brunch after church. While it was busy, the wait for a table. This was my first time here, I loved the different options they had. I decided on the crap dipper sandwich with grits, and my husband got the chicken & waffles. I got my eggs over medium & added spinach to my sandwich. The Crossiant was fresh & I enjoyed the she crab that came with the sandwich. My husband ate the chicken tenders, he didn't really care for the waffle. I think this is a nice and simple spot for breakfast or lunch.

Great service and tasty food! That is all I ask for and no doubt Pops Diner delivered in both categories. Shrimp and Grits had some of the creamiest Cajun cheese grits I have eaten in a long time. Fair prices all the way around and not a single complaint

This was my husband's and I first time going to a Pops Diner Co. We absolutely loved this location. Leslie was our server and she was an absolute blast. She was relatable and didn't feel like a generic cookie cutter server. You can tell she made her guests feel comfortable and she was super proud of the place she worked at. I wish I took more photos but the mural in the building was amazing and the whole vibe felt super cosy (the booth seats could use a bit more cushioning lol). I ordered the Peach Crush and the Pops Smashburger. The Peach Crush was their special of the day and it was delicious. I could taste the alcohol but it was pleasant. The smashburger was to die for; however, I wish it included more of the honey chipotle sauce. Overall, we will be coming back to Pops Diner Co because both the service and food were amazing and there is more we'd like to try!

Every time my husband and I visit Virginia Beach this is the one place we have to go to before leaving or our trip isn't complete. The staff is always welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere is just right. The food is epic!!! We love the skillets, it's everything!!!!

When I went to Pops Dinner it was 2:30 pm and they closed at 3:00pm. I was welcomed in and was not rushed. The music was just right. The waitress was very friendly and made sure I was fine. I ordered the crab soup and Pops's Smashburger with fries. The crab soup was thick, tasty, and crab in every spoonful. The Smashburger was hot and juicy and enough for two meals. The bacon bits added a nice crunch to the burger. I will be back for breakfast.

We decided to try out Pops Diner. For a family breakfast outing. They did not disappoint. Our breakfast was everything and kids eat free . Our server was very nice and helpful she checked on us regularly to make sure we were good. The restaurant was nice and spacious. All our food tasted so so good and fresh. Will definitely be back.

Sliced Turkey Breast Sandwich

I love pops diner! It's so delicious! I always have great service here. Their fries are literally my favorite, I would be satisfied with them alone. I had a bacon double cheeseburger and my husband had a turkey breast sandwich both were delicious and absolutely no complaints! The restaurant always gives a cozy comfy vibe. This place is worth the drive each time!

16 adults and 3 kids.....we were a lot.

I was here on a busy Sunday morning. Plenty of parking. I was part of a huge group and we had the whole back section with 3 tables.....2 four tops and a larger table that could seat around16-20. We had separate checks amongst the couples so we were a lot. The service was great and our server ( I didn't get her name) was wonderful!!! She truly handled everything with a smile. This is a good solid place to go for breakfast or lunch - especially with kids. But it wasn't my favorite. I didn't love my chicken salad - I found it a bit dry and not a lot of flavor. I only ate 1/2 and took 1/2 home and doctored it up a bit. I didn't hear any complaints really from anyone but honestly we were there to catch up with old friends. They were very patient with us and I know they probably needed our tables. I would probably go back if someone chose the restaurant. It just wasn't my favorite.

Biscuits & Gravy breakfast
Mickiela M.

The food was so good, came for breakfast. Ordered biscuits and gravy breakfast meal. The biscuits were so moist, fluffy and good. The staff from the moment you walk in through out dining experience is so friendly. And can't believe KIDS EAT FREE every day! Place is also really clean. Happy & attentive staff. Great experience. Ready to come back for dinner. Really like the music they play as well.

So full disclosure I have eaten their food at least 2 other times during the year since I first…read morefound this gem and both times it was take out. Needless to say the food was so good, pics proved to have zero chance. Sooo after a rough week, a Saturday late morning breakfast was calling for a much needed downtime to sit and enjoy... and well here we go: Some say happiness in a bottle, I say Happiness in a glass! Their iced praline mocha is soooo good! The right balance of mocha and coffee, not overly sweet but enough to give you a pick me up while enjoying their amazing food! Next time must try their lavender latte or pistachio... but gotta get it before 5/31 as it's available for a limited time! Definitely recommend the brekki bowl with cheese grits and fried chicken! You will not be disappointed. Cheese grits like "buhhhttah" without the oily and maybe the calories?! But honestly, so flavorful and creamy without the guilty feeling for having something that tastes so good. The veggies are fresh and perfectly cooked to give you great texture contrast. And let me tell you about their fried chicken!! Chefs kiss! Moist, flavorful lightly breaded chicken fried to perfection that had a slight kick for this girl. In full disclosure black pepper is spicy for me so take that with a grain of salt. And for those of you like me that believe there is never too much salt and add salt to your salt but need to cut that bad habit... this whole dish is the perfect amount of salt. I literally never had to add just a little more. The goat cheese crumbles gave each bite the little extra tah-dah pop that might have been otherwise gotten had you like me added a few more shakes of salt to the dish. Seriously though, if you are watching to slowly cut back on having to add salt to your food, this dish is for you! The service was great and everyone was friendly and hustling! This place is the best for a quick sit down or a group brunch. I saw a table of like 10 menly bros enjoying a huge selection of food, drinks, and catching up. Really awesome to see that as the next few tables were a mix of families with and without kids, in laws, aunts and uncles just coming together for amazing food, great and accurate service, and overall fantastic experience ina random Saturday morning!

The vibe was nice cute diner set up with outdoor seating! We ordered the fried green tomatoes, loaded breakfast tots, the Chick 'N Ditch the Waffle , and the Smokeshow omelette, with a side of home fries. Everything was flavorful and cooked just right. Can't wait to go back and try other items!

We always choose the Greenbrier location in Chesapeake since there's ample parking available, and the service is very good. Tonight I tried a new salad, the Lemon Basil Harvest Blend, and I appreciated our server, Jackeline M for asking if I preferred the dressing on the side. Yes, please! I'm so glad she asked! This mixed greens salad has some star ingredients that caught my eye: charred artichokes, green olives, and grilled balsamic chicken. Yum. I'll be ordering this salad again. My bestie ordered her favorite bc combo with Tomato Soup and the Wine Country salad. She says that soup and salad combo never disappoints. She finished it! But, we always save room to share a trusty bc favorite dessert: the Wimbledon (strawberries with whipped cream crepes). Although it's no longer on the menu, the Greenbrier location always whips it up for us when we ask. It's an oldie, and a goodie! We enjoy the cozy atmosphere of Baker's Crust and find that our dinner catch ups over their delicious food and dessert are always long overdue. I boxed half of my salad to take home and Jackeline was kind in bringing me extra salad dressing to go. Very thoughtful. We'll be back soon!

Jennifer was our waitress and her service was absolutely spectacular. I was celebrating with my sister and ordered the closest thing to steak and eggs... which just happed to be the Steak & Hash.! I asked for the potatoes to be super crispy, eggs scrambled soft and a medium rare steak. Jennifer advised that I cannot order the steak to the temp of my choosing because, this dish does not come with a whole steak. This dish comes with cut up steak pieces. She requested for them to be cooked light. This dish also doesn't come with eggs. I ordered it on the side. Overall this dish was very pleasing to the eye but my darn potatoes were COLD... I was breaking all the rules and ordered carbs after my intense workout just to be heavily disappointed with cold taters lol... the fish looks amazing but this goes to show you that looks can be deceiving. The eggs were cooked to perfection.. not just anyone can scramble eggs soft. So the kitchen does get a point or two for that. The steak pieces are very small and thin my sliced.. not much flavor but at least they weren't chewy. Overall I did not eat my dish. I just packed up the entire plate and enjoyed two glasses of champagne with grapefruit juice. My guest ordered a dish called the chicken chimichangas or chickichangas. I believe and she devoured it!!! I didn't get a picked but it looked like a chicken omelet with hollandaise on top and some fresh fruit! Overall I am eating this place a 3 only because my service was excellent, the restaurant was clean and had ample parking.. the bathroom was clean and I just happened to be in great company. Side note. They do not sell regular size bottles of champagne. Here. You can order champagne or mimosa and they sell small individual bottles of Barefoot Prosecco I believe.

We were immediately greeted by the manager owner. It's a seat yourself and order at the counter set up. We hadn't grabbed a menu when we came in and the owner intuitively brought menus to our table. We ordered the avocado smash toast, the Blue Mystique smoothie bowl, and the Greek toast. Service was quick and they brought it out to our table. Each item came out looking beautiful, fresh, and delicious. I sampled the 'cure' cold pressed juice and now I feel like I need to go back to get a bottle to go. Excuse the pics, I always forget to take the pic first when the food comes out looking good, lol. I found the prices to be very reasonable for what you get compared to other "fresh food" fast restaurants. Definitely put this place on your list as a chill place to catch up with friends or to set up your laptop for some work while enjoying a variety of yummy fresh food choices. Oh, I always like to note when places have single stall unisex bathrooms and they did. The service quality and flavor is always my primary motivator when deciding where to eat.
