I didn't like this at all and it's crazy because this place be jumping sometimes. First off why are all these restaurants thinking they're too good for American cheese. That's been pissing me off my whole career (I cook). But this was very dry and just very underwhelming. However the women here are nice and welcoming.

Plenty of parking especially in the morning before other businesses are open. We came on a Saturday morning and it wasn't too busy. We were able to look at the whole menu and went up to order. The people were friendly and food/drinks came out fairly quickly. The cinnamocha coffee was good. The pancake corndogs were delicious with the sauce and has a breakfast sausage inside. The loaded tater tots were a nice touch with the bacon and cheese inside. The bonuts were OK. It was more like fried biscuits with cinnamon sugar on it so they were a bit on the dry side. I love how the to go containers were easily accessible. I wish all coffees had a refillable option. Overall, definitely recommend coming here.

Stopped by around 11 am for something to eat while running errands and it was packed! Had a decent wait in line and was able to luckily get a table. Def should've looked at the menu before I went in because I felt a little rushed since so many people were behind me and I ended up just picking a random biscuit on the menu. I ordered the Boozy Bird (4/10) it came with bourbon maple syrup on the side, so the chicken itself was just dry with no condiments. The biscuit was dry as well, so I just wasn't pleased. Pouring and dipping the biscuit in the syrup overall was just messy. Chicken needed a little more flavor also. I also tried their Loaded breakfast tots (8/10) they tasted good and had a sweet tea. I might go back again to try a different biscuit, def going to look over the entire menu first and know exactly what I'm doing to get before hand though if I do go back lol. My overall rate of experience : 6/10

The food is always great. We have been a few times and have yet to have any problem. We wanted to grab a quick Valentine's Day breakfast, before hitting the road, and were able to get a table. The staff were nice and festive. It was my first time getting a drink, not the best I've had but it was decent.

This is in a cute little mall across from a new luxury apartment development in Chesapeake with a few other nice stores and restaurants. We stopped in for brunch one day on a whim and loved it! I got the boomer which is a dish with two biscuits smothered with mushroom gravy and my partner got a single biscuit with sausage gravy over it, and we shared the bonut holes, which are biscuit, donut holes, covered with cinnamon sugar with bourbon cream frosting. We did not like the cream cheese frosting as much as the chocolate sauce that we got on the side - highly recommend chocolate sauce on the side. So this place has kind of quick service vibes they have menus and then you get into a line in order at the front and then they'll give you a little number placard thing that you sit down at a table and then they'll bring the food out to you and also Bus your table once you leave. We really enjoyed coming here even though it was a little chilly when we came so bring your light jacket or a cardigan. It could've been because it was an overcast day and they probably had the AC cranking for the summer. The bonut holes were good and reminded me of Beignets I had down in the French Quarter. While I enjoyed both the sausage biscuit gravy and the mushroom biscuit gravy, I think the mushroom is actually better. If it were possible to mix the two I think that would be the best of both worlds. Overall, the food was really enjoyable and came out pretty quickly. Bottom Line: This is a good brunch spot. Try the Bonut Holes and try a biscuit and some gravy, it's worth it.

Stopped in to try something new today. The service was amazing (the reason for my two stars). The food left so much to be desired. My boyfriend got "The Go Getta" and they knew they should have went and tried again. I saw as soon as it came to the table that the gravy was broken. No one wants lumpy gravy unless its lumpy from the meat ya'll. I ordered The Frenchie and this was the driest, crustiest french toast fusion I have every tried. The only thing I can say was good about mine, we're the strawberries and blueberries. The restaurant was clean. I also did not like the fact the silverware were at the table for weirdos to lick on or put their used ones in with the clean ones. Sad to say, but this is where we are in today's world.

A great place for brunch. Order and pay at the cashier and they give you a # to put on the table so they can bring you the food and drinks. The place was super bright and clean. Service was great and food and drinks were tasty. Brekkie bowl with home fries and added avocado and sausage was really good along with my iced cinnamocha drink.

Casual dining with quick service. Order at the counter and place your order number on your table. The Fire in Your Belly biscuit and the pancakes were good! Tequila sunrise and lavender mimosa for a Sunday morning win!!

Very clean (aside from the restrooms) staff was very attentive. Plenty of seating. Food came out quickly. Food was ok. Was excited about the bonuts but they were just ok. The icing was really good though. Only real disappointment was the restrooms. Messy, not very clean. But otherwise hand an enjoyable brunch.

This was my first time here. Good food and friendly/ helpful workers. The pancake sausage dogs are really good. It does get pretty busy inside but they have a pretty big dinning area. We got 3 of the breakfast appetizers. As a gravy person I wasn't a huge fan of the gravy but I'm also picky, my wife enjoyed the gravy and typically doesn't like gravy. Lol

First time visitor and the cashier with the glasses was kind of shitty. Not welcoming or helpful at all. Very short if any answers to the questions we had as first timers. Front of the house staff usually smile. Food wise everything was tasty except my hubbys tater tots the inside was mushy. The fried green tomatoes were very good. Also the how you can get free refills.

We decided to do take out for breakfast on a Saturday morning. When we arrived to pick up, the restaurant was super busy. picking up was a breeze. Thank you Other than the bacon being too salty, everything else we ordered was delicious! We will be back soon...take out or at the restaurant.

Arrived at Biscuit Belly a few minutes after opening on Saturday morning. I saw the mixed reviews and wanted to see for myself. I specifically came when I thought they wouldn't be busy, one because I am not a fan of crowds, and two the less than good reviews seemed when they were the most busy. The menu is a little overwhelming, two full sides of so many delicious items. I settled in on the smoke show, it comes with hash browns or cheese grits. Instead of those choices, I opted for a side of fried Green tomatoes and bacon for an up charge. I also ordered two espressos. They were both doubles which I combined and made my own latte by adding half n half, only $5, wingood. It is expresso from a machine so there was that. Still satisfying. The Smoke Show was super delicious. It didn't look like a lot of food, but looks can be deceiving because it filled me up. The bacon was thick and quite good. The fried Green tomatoes were good, especially with the sauce, but they were thin, more breading than tomato so I didn't get that nice Green tomato tang. Still quite good. I got to meet Jessie who brought my drinks. She was wonderful. It was the Christmas season and she had a Green dress with jingle bells, which kept me smiling. I really liked the decor. It was clean and bright. The food is exceptional, especially if you compare it to an IHOP or Dennys. It is miles above either. And I like the concept, you order your food at the counter. They give you a number you put into the box on the table. And they bring your food when it is ready. You serve yourself your own water. Really like Biscuit Belly in Chesapeake!

We always choose the Greenbrier location in Chesapeake since there's ample parking available, and the service is very good. Tonight I tried a new salad, the Lemon Basil Harvest Blend, and I appreciated our server, Jackeline M for asking if I preferred the dressing on the side. Yes, please! I'm so glad she asked! This mixed greens salad has some star ingredients that caught my eye: charred artichokes, green olives, and grilled balsamic chicken. Yum. I'll be ordering this salad again. My bestie ordered her favorite bc combo with Tomato Soup and the Wine Country salad. She says that soup and salad combo never disappoints. She finished it! But, we always save room to share a trusty bc favorite dessert: the Wimbledon (strawberries with whipped cream crepes). Although it's no longer on the menu, the Greenbrier location always whips it up for us when we ask. It's an oldie, and a goodie! We enjoy the cozy atmosphere of Baker's Crust and find that our dinner catch ups over their delicious food and dessert are always long overdue. I boxed half of my salad to take home and Jackeline was kind in bringing me extra salad dressing to go. Very thoughtful. We'll be back soon!

Consistency--both in the kitchen and in the dining room--has made this longtime favorite a reliable choice for those who value substance over flash. The service reflects that same steadiness. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable without being overbearing--always ready with thoughtful suggestions for anyone navigating the menu. I began with the garden salad, a straightforward but well-executed mix of fresh greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, and sweet Vidalia onions, finished with housemade croutons and a balanced balsamic vinaigrette. It's a simple dish done right, which sets the tone for what follows. The she-crab soup--an award-winning staple--delivers exactly what you hope for in a classic rendition. Rich, velvety, and deeply satisfying, it's best enjoyed in a cup unless you plan on making it the centerpiece of your meal. For the entrée, the French Dip stands out as a clear highlight. Built on a soft roll and filled with thinly sliced prime rib--slow-roasted to achieve both tenderness and depth of flavor--it's served with a properly seasoned au jus that brings the entire sandwich together. The Rice & Peas and Plantains were just as good. My daughter enjoyed her Curry Chicken as well. Neither one of us cared for the Mac & Cheese. Wednesdays are Groove on the Green, which is a free, Music Concert Series that Cutlass Grille hosts so I believe that's what caused it to be busy.
