Very busy day, Sunday, but got seated and beverages and menu. The food was delicious. They play country music in the background. Service was great.

Such a cute little breakfast diner! How have I not been here yet? It's in a Deep Creek neighborhood in a quiet shopping center area. Servers were so so nice and hospitable! You instantly get this locals vibe here. There were locals, cops, workers, and lots of families relaxing and having their hearty breakfast! The eggs were done perfectly and the home fries were the best! Breakfast was served quick and Coffee was always kept full! I believe this is a family owned and operated place. It definitely feels very family oriented! I appreciate all the kindness and smiles . Visit C&B diner!

Very comfortable, small breakfast place. Great for locals and food is delicious. Not kid friendly though due to space. We enjoy going here every couple months

I loved it. Perfect mom & pop feel, visual veteran appreciation all around. Long time history in area, but my 1st of what will be many visits to come. Here with my buddy who prompted the visit with a taste for "French Toast" and C&B did Not disappoint. I had French Toast, 2 eggs fried over easy, sausage links, and grits All of which were just RIGHT!! My Buddy Lisa had the same roughly... French toast no powder, eggs scrambled, bacon and she had grits too and her review... "Every thing was perfect" Service was beyond awesome, turns out we were being taken care of by one of the owners "Beth" who was SUPER personable and just an over all great person to experience Practically no wait time at all to be seated and get our meals, drinks and toppings clarity were on point. I look forward to the next visit. Breakfast is daily, stops at 11 Tuesday-Friday ( currently closed on Mondays) but is an all day option on weekends with specialty dishes available.

If you are into little hole in the walls this is the place for you! Seriously, one of my favorite little places to go! Breakfast - Just like home! My favorite? The hamburgers and fries. Seriously, a Deep Creek secret! All the waitresses are nice and the place is clean. The food is fresh and the coffee is great. I'm not sure why it's taken so long to write something nice about this place as we've been going to breakfast and lunch here for the past ten+ years. If you're in the area and you like a little mom & pops off the beaten path stop by and give it a try. Cheers!

This is a great family restaurant for that old fashion breakfast and lunch. It's a business that has been around for over 59 years. The atmosphere is very nice and clean..Waitress are very friendly...highly recommend this breakfast spot. Food is very reasonable and tasty

Would definitely come back. Was greated right when my sister and I walked in the door. Was able to order right away and don't think we waited more than 10 minutes before the food came out to the table. Food was really good and super SUPER cheap. Great little place and great for families.

Complete is the name of this meal, and it was exactly that!

So right off I was a bit nervous based upon outside appearances; however, walking inside we were greeted immediately and given the choice of where to sit. We picked a booth in the corner & the waitress was quick to get our drink orders. Once we ordered, our food came out quickly. My sister ordered the boothill omelet and I ordered the complete which was 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries and grits. It was all so good. Cooked perfectly. The pancakes were fluffy. It was so much food that we both had a ton left over. I would definitely recommend this place and I'll be returning. Plus, prices are super reasonable.

This is one of those places that I always stop at when I'm anywhere nearby. Breakfast or lunch the food is always excellent. The staff are always very friendly and efficient. You never have to wait very long for your meal to arrive. It is a perfect diner atmosphere where you always feel at home no matter how you are dressed. Portions are always generous and the prices are moderate. They always have breakfast and lunch specials so there's always something new to try. What's not to like? Drop by and spend some time there, you won't be sorry.

Needless to say the food was so good, pics proved to have zero chance. Sooo after a rough week, a Saturday late morning breakfast was calling for a much needed downtime to sit and enjoy... and well here we go: Some say happiness in a bottle, I say Happiness in a glass! Their iced praline mocha is soooo good! The right balance of mocha and coffee, not overly sweet but enough to give you a pick me up while enjoying their amazing food! Next time must try their lavender latte or pistachio... but gotta get it before 5/31 as it's available for a limited time! Definitely recommend the brekki bowl with cheese grits and fried chicken! You will not be disappointed. Cheese grits like "buhhhttah" without the oily and maybe the calories?! But honestly, so flavorful and creamy without the guilty feeling for having something that tastes so good. The veggies are fresh and perfectly cooked to give you great texture contrast. And let me tell you about their fried chicken!! Chefs kiss! Moist, flavorful lightly breaded chicken fried to perfection that had a slight kick for this girl. In full disclosure black pepper is spicy for me so take that with a grain of salt. And for those of you like me that believe there is never too much salt and add salt to your salt but need to cut that bad habit... this whole dish is the perfect amount of salt. I literally never had to add just a little more. The goat cheese crumbles gave each bite the little extra tah-dah pop that might have been otherwise gotten had you like me added a few more shakes of salt to the dish. Seriously though, if you are watching to slowly cut back on having to add salt to your food, this dish is for you! The service was great and everyone was friendly and hustling! This place is the best for a quick sit down or a group brunch. I saw a table of like 10 menly bros enjoying a huge selection of food, drinks, and catching up. Really awesome to see that as the next few tables were a mix of families with and without kids, in laws, aunts and uncles just coming together for amazing food, great and accurate service, and overall fantastic experience ina random Saturday morning!

I have had a few visits here now, and the most recent visit was on January 12, 2026. At the beginning of each new year, I like to try a place that I have never been to before, so January 1, 2026, was the first time I had come here. My mom was with me. Depending on when you come in general, parking can be limited at times with all the other businesses in this shopping center. Upon first look at the place from the outside, you can see the name and logo pretty easily. It looks similar to other places that happen to be in this same shopping center. We got here around 8 am on that first visit. When we came inside, it wasn't too busy yet, likely due to others probably still sleeping after being up past midnight for the new year. The inside of the place has a modern diner type of vibe, which fits the restaurant well. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server Brooke came over pretty quickly and asked us what we would like to drink. I just do my usual of water with lemon, and my mom had gotten coffee. It would take us a little while to choose since there lots of good items to choose from. When she came back to check again, we were ready this time. I figured I'd get something I don't normally do, so I went for the French Toast Combo with scrambled eggs, bacon, and baked apples. My mom decided to go with the Ultimate Skillet with rye toast. The food would come out pretty quick. It was around ten minutes or so. Both breakfast entrees looked really good and they were hot. It felt like an indulgence when I started on the French toast since it has been a long time since having it. The baked apples were great too, and something else I don't normally have. I will note that I didn't get a blood sugar spike after this meal either that day. My mom enjoyed the Ultimate Skillet as much as I did with the French Toast Combo. After the experience from that first visit, we came back to try the lunch/dinner menu options for dinner that day. This visit was on January 12, 2026. After being seated initially, we moved over to a table since the booths were a bit tight. Kellie was our server on this visit. She asked us what we wanted to have to drink, and I went with water with lemon and my mom went with a coke. After taking some time to look over the menu, we were ready to order. My mom decided not to have too much, so she just went with the Loaded Baked Potato side item. I decided to try the Chipotle Chicken Ciabatta Sandwich with the homemade chips as the side. Just like the last time, it took about ten minutes or so for the food to come out. The sandwich I had was really good, and so were the homemade chips. This time, this meal did spike my blood sugar levels, but it was so good. My mom told me afterwards that the loaded baked potato she had come out cold. It was then that we let the server know, and she asked if she wanted to get it redone. She said no but wanted to take it home instead. The server did take off the cost of that item. It was likely due to it sitting before my sandwich was ready to bring them out together. Mom did get a box to bring it home and had it later that evening, and she said it was good when it was heated up at home too. Overall, we have had a few very good experiences here. The food and service were good, and the issue for my mom was handled well too. That shows they truly care about the experience of the visitors here. Both menus may be just two sides, but there is quite a bit to choose from. I think anyone would find something they would like here. There is one thing I want to note when it comes to paying. There is a 3% surcharge added to the total including taxes if you use a credit card instead of cash. In the end, if you are looking for a diner type of place, this one is worth checking out.

We do and after finding that being altruistic can make ya hungry, we started our hunt. We don't get this way often so we were using Yelp to help us out. And it guided us here, to Poppy's. Where they have the friendliest employees (and diners!), the best shredded hashbrowns (Breanna asked us if we wanted onions & throwing caution the wind we said sure!) and onions. Hubby opted for a meat sandwich, and yes, it is perfectly named, and I got the western omelet. The omelet was huge and tasty with equal parts onions, peppers, ham and lots of cheese. I was on the fence with French toast and boy am I glad I went with the omelet. There's just something special that griddle cooking adds to an omelet that takes it up a notch, plus, those onion laden hashbrowns were worth mentioning again. Hubby said his meat sandwich had so much meat that he could have skipped a few meals and still have enough meat to last days. The place was very busy. We snagged the last available table and with there being only one chef, we had quite the wait. Breanna made sure we weren't ignored and when our breakfasts arrived, we dug in and devoured. This is a little far from our house but soon as we left the man asked me when were we going back. As a wrap up, diner fare devotion at super reasonable prices (you get alot of food!) with happy, friendly people. Get there early, take a book or someone whose company you enjoy and settle in as you may have a wait that is worth it. Oh, we got all that food for less than $25 (not counting tax and tip). I would add this as a place to have diner delicacies.

It's in the same group of buildings such as Michael's (around the corner). My visit here was on October 27, 2025. The outside view of the business is simple, but effective. They have a specials chalkboard next to the entrance. Parking wasn't an issue on this visit, but I'm sure it can fill up at busier times. My mom and I were both in the area as she wanted to go to the Michael's store here. When we came inside, it wasn't busy, as it was around 3:30 pm when we got here. We were greeted by the one who would be our server for this visit. He gave us menus to look at and asked us for our drink orders. I generally stick with water with lemon, which I did here. We were there during the time where it was still the lunch menu (though for us, it was more like dinner for us that day). When he came back with the drinks, he asked if we were ready to order, but we weren't just yet. He also asked if we had any questions about the menu and options and gave us more time to mull over the menu. When he came back, we weren't completely ready, but asked a question about the specials of the day. After that, we knew what we would get and placed our food order. My mom ordered the Meatloaf Lunch Special with mashed potatoes and spinach. I went with the Meatball Sub Lunch Special with mashed potatoes, though I don't normally do potatoes that often. After about ten minutes or so, the food came to the table. The food looked really good, and it was hot too. The bread for the Meatball Sub was very soft and easy to eat. The meatballs were huge and made for a worthy meal. The mashed potatoes with gravy was really good and fulfilling too. My mom loved the meatloaf, and their meatloaf doesn't have ketchup on it like some other places do. She loved the meatloaf, spinach, and mashed potatoes too. After we were done, he asked if we wanted any desserts. We both declined as I normally don't do them anymore. Overall, we both had an excellent experience here. The food and service were on point. The food I had that day did spike my blood sugars, but I expected that with bread and mashed potatoes. I don't make a habit of that though. They are a great local business. There are lots of food options to choose from. If you are looking for a place to eat while in this part of Chesapeake, this place is worth coming to.
