Theres three sides that you can add to make it a combo for an extra $3.50, and I would skip the mashed potatoes. It was good, however overly salty compared to the pot pie. Service was good and theres plenty of picnic tables and tables out in front of the store next to a bunch of other stores where you can dine in. read more

not a perfect dining experience. gave 'em one more star than they probably deserve. at this location POP PIE is the new kid on the block and still working out the kinks. as you can tell from my photos, everything spent too much time in the oven. rather than tasting smokey and slightly caramelized like a good, thin-crust pizza, everything had a slightly bitter aftertaste. GBD (golden-brown-delicious) is the industry standard and at least on our visit, theirs was closer to the dry and burnt end of the spectrum. MUSHROOM and LEEK QUICHE (roasted oyster mushrooms, leeks, sun-dried tomatoes, eggs, and crème fraiche) was a hit with my meatless kid. not an enthusiastic two-thumbs up but in fairness, Jules would appear taciturn holding a winning lottery ticket. the BOSS 2.0 (applewood smoked bacon quiche with eggs, cheddar, jack cheese, chives, and spiced country potatoes) was a hot mess. picture a Denny's scramble in an overcooked pie crust instead of a small, cast-iron skillet. we also had a whole (5 slices) HAM, BACON, CHIVE, and CHEESE QUICHE (smoked ham, bacon, chives, jack and cheddar cheese, eggs, and crème fraiche). it was really quite good. partial to quiches that are light and fluffy, and POP PIE's are dense, but the flavor was there. 5" CLASSIC CHICKEN pot pie (chicken breast meat, garden vegetables, pearl onions, and creamy herb sauce). easy to see why this one's a "classic." I think Costco's clumsy version is better value and nearly as good. 5" STEAK and ALE pot pie (slow-braised beef, barley, mushrooms, carrots, and dark ale gravy) was not great. I understand and appreciate the impetus for including another classic on the menu (even after omitting the kidneys so it's more approachable for American palates) but there's a reason why British food doesn't top anybody's last meal list. will go back after they've settled in and figured stuff out. they also have a freezer full of take-and-bake pot pies and LOTS of sweet options to try. read more

This was THE BEST key lime pie I've ever had! The girl was so friendly and helpful, and found a way to recommend almost everything in the shop. Somehow the pie wasn't overly sweet or tart but had the perfect balance and the buttery crust was amazing. I'm obsessed with their Key Lime Pie! It's creamy and delicious. I also tried their Steak & Ale Pot Pie with Mashed Potatoes & Gravy and Creamed Corn. Their savory food is okay in my opinion. I have tasted frozen buys from the grocery store that were better for half the price. This may be a one time bad experience, but they were so tasty, I would try them again. I was so disappointed in my chicken pie. I ordered it because it clearly said white meat chicken. I can't stomach dark meat chicken, so when I took the first bite it didn't taste right to me. I removed the top crust and it was nothing but dark meat. I brought the pie home to my husband and he asked me why I ordered a dark meat pie, and I told him that the description said White Meat! He looked into the pie and said "I don't see any white meat at all". He didn't want to eat it either. Why would this restaurant describe it as white meat when it was all gross dark meat? The staff had a great attitude and were very welcoming. They don't have any sitting inside, but have a shared dining area with the other business in the complex. I got the steak and ale savory pie and a slice of the salted caramel apple crumble pie. Both were very tasty. My bf and I were actually going to the ice cream place nextdoor, but, Pot Pie Co caught our eye and, LET ME TELL YOU... In my 30 long years of life, I have had many pot pies-- chicken, beef, you name it... I've had it. And, I'd consider myself a bit of a pot pie connoisseur. When I say, this was the BEST chicken and beef pot pie me and my bf have ever had, I mean it. If you haven't tried it yet-- you have to. I'm a big pot pie enjoyer so I was delighted when we stumbled upon this place. My friends and I got the chicken and aussie pot pies and picked up the salted apple caramel crumble and the lemon curd and mixed berry hand pie. The chicken and aussie ones were very flavorful with a perfectly flaky and buttery crust. I think the only thing is that most of the pastry must have soaked up all the juices so it was a tad bit try but it honestly didn't bother me. No notes on the apple, what I wanted for an apple pie and the lemon curd and mixed berry one was exactly what I needed with a lemony tart flavor and the sweet berries. Everything was so delicious that the next day I went back and picked up a steak and ale pie to try with a side of creamed corn and mashed potatoes & gravy. I couldn't finish it so I left it in the fridge and brought it back with me to the Bay where I stashed it in the freezer. I had it three weeks after I initially bought it and it was still fantastic! I was surprised by how incredibly tender the steak was, the meat was more tender than dishes I've had where the meat was supposed to be "fall off the bone". If you enjoy pot pies, please go here.
