The quote was on par with other companies, and our pool guy had recommended PPP so it seemed like a no brainer. It took a really long time for the work to be completed, and there were nonstop additional costs all along the way. The gentleman who did the quote botched it, and at one point we had 4 gentlemen from PPP come out (including the gentleman who gave the quote) to our house to discuss all of the additional costs. They bickered amongst themselves and told the gentleman who gave the quote that he did a poor job, and then they walked him around the yard to give him pointers of where he should be looking for future quotes. It was awkward and unprofessional, and in the end we agreed to split the cost. After that, communications became extremely curt, all of the work seemed to be done much more sloppily, and we are still waiting for them to come back to fix the ladder that they installed incorrectly. When friends ask me who did our pool, I tell them "Pima Pool Plastering, but I do not suggest you use them".

I immediately reached out to Noah and sent him photos he said he would send out his guys to replace those travertine tiles and nothing but crickets. I've been beyond patient. It's now been 2 years and they've been through two service managers and I resend them the photos they say they will get back to me to schedule their guy and I never hear from them. I am so disappointed in this experience. We have stayed with them for their very expensive weekly service because we are loyal people, but I'm beyond frustrated with our experience. I really feel like once the build was done they don't care. I've reached out to them so many times and nothing but crickets. This is not how you should treat people who have remained loyal to you and over paid on your weekly service. The last service guy that was here said that the reason why our pool was so dirty (so we paid an extra $15 for each vacuuming) is because half of our built-in cleaning system isn't working. Our regular service guy never alerted us of this and now we're having trouble with the entire cleaning system, and this pool is only 3 years old. Noah, you said that you would happily replace all of the travertine tiles that your pool guy broke. I don't appreciate being treated like this after we spent $160,000 with you. The next day MMG rep (Elias) arrived early, immediately inspected our pool and promptly completed on-site repairs of several minor imperfections in Vail, AZ. BE AWARE THAT…read moreE-KONOMY POOLS HAS PURCHASED OTHER POOL COMPANIES IN THE TUCSON AREA! -Be sure when establishing service with a new pool company that it's NOT owned by OR associated with the owners of E-KONOMY!!! -Let's begin with my 80 YEAR OLD DISABLED widowed mother who used E-KONOMY Pools and was taken advantage of. -Charged for chemicals not used -Paid to have pool drained, power washed, tiles cleaned and PROMISED that this special tile chemical they charged her extra monthly for would prevent the calcium build up from coming back! Well you guessed it! It came back to which E-KONOMY Pools response was that they "didn't guarantee it wouldn't come back" and stated that the pool tiles weren't being maintained! WHAT? She paid E-KONOMY Pools for weekly service including brushing the tiles and pool, chemicals and services which were ALL part of the job and maintenance she was promised! -E-KONOMY Pools stated they would be happy to come give her a quote to have her tile cleaned...again...WHAT? Yet E-KONOMY POOLS has NEVER missed a monthly withdrawal from her account! Not to mention she hasn't been able to get into her pool for years-but just wants to keep it beautiful and maintained. -Ring Camera recorded Technician entering her backyard and leaving 10 minutes later. Once again not brushing pool nor checking chemical levels. Pool left with algae growing on sides when inspected. SHAME ON YOU E-KONOMY POOLS and your ridiculous excuses! What other Elderly and Disabled persons are being taken advantage of by this company? Unbelievable and absolutely not ok! Then there's our pool: -EVERY SUMMER...EVERY SUMMER- Pool Technicians falsifying documentation related to services rendered (and verified as falsified by Supervisors following up that Technician had lied). -Being told when lodging a complaint with E-KONOMY that GPS showed Technician at our address for 30 to 40 minutes. That is until our cameras showed Technician parked out front of our home for 20 minutes on their phones then coming into backyard for 10 to 15 minutes of service which showed them NOT brushing the sides, nor testing the chemical levels, nor backwashing which are the services we pay for on top of chemicals. -Now don't get me wrong-Fall, Winter, and Spring there's really nothing to do except check the balance...during those months we haven't expected nor asked the Technician to backwash except maybe once a month if needed but yet we pay the same amount all year. Not a problem-BUT do the job when we really need it during the SUMMER! -Camera recordings of Technician lowering pool water level then taking a picture and sending it to the company stating "water level in pool too low to backwash" so he didn't have to do it. -Been charged TWICE in one month for services and over charged for chemicals. -Continuous company turnover -Asked NUMEROUS times for quote on sand replacement for filter and NEVER received a response. These are just a few of the FRUSTRATING events without writing a book! We all work hard for our money and expect to get services agreed upon-not with this company where you're having to beg for good and fair service! I guarantee you that the owners of E-KONOMY Pools wouldn't put up with the service their customers receive.

Update: minutes after leaving this review Mike came by to bully and threaten to cancel the contract…read morewith the owner, stating that I don't have a right to leave a review since I'm not the customer...I told him that I am the one who sees the pool week after week because I take care of the house and I am the witness to their bad business practices. He didn't come by to deal with the pool after months of neglect because he left and the hot tub still has mildew. Awful people!! They lie, they don't service your pool and they don't care about causing damage to your pool motor. Blue knight pools merged either then and since then our pool has looked like complete garbage. Yesterday I went out to see my PSI fluctuating between 30-50 PSI so I shut off the system because I don't want to burn the motor out. When Jessie the pool guy showed I I told him that I think the filters are dirty and he said that's not his job. So I asked what is your job and he said to vacuum, scrubbing bottom, and skimming the pool and he refused to clean the filters. Instead he suggested we cancel our contract because he's tired of being yelled at about bad service techs and having to fix their issues. Nobody yelled at him. So I let him be and would again try to call the office (they haven't responded to calls in weeks). Well Jessie found out he can't do his job of vacuuming the pool without suction because the filters were too clogged. Guess who had to do a job that isn't his? Jessie. So now we have clean filters...but why fight with a company you pay good money to for a service? We will be parting ways. Unacceptable. Also, no need to respond with the run around Mike.

Not pursuing services with Sparkle and Splash as this initial indicator of their customer service was a "fail" from the start.
