I've had my new hot tub since May 7, 2024 and was taking the time to evaluate the process of owning and maintaining this unit.  We are the owner of The Iris by Garden Spas and purchased from Tucson Hot Tubs at 2704 E. 22nd St, Tucson, AZ. This was the first and only location visited when interested in purchasing a Hot Tub, felt comfortable at the location and the Staff was Great.  Once we decided on the right size of unit for the space available, the rest was easy with Great Assistance from Dylan.  We had to wait a week for delivery, and the delivery process went extremely smooth with no problems or damages.  Tyler and Sam delivered our unit and were very helpful in informing me of everything I needed to know for success.  Install was an Awesome Experience, Thanks Tyler and Sam!!! Outstanding family owned business. I had no power to our hot tub. They gave me a reasonable quote to troubleshoot and scheduled a date. I was contacted on the status of the tech. The owner, Tyler, arrived and was friendly and professional. He diagnosed and replaced the heater element within the quoted estimate. Total job was about an hour. I was nice to see that the owner also does repairs when they're busy. It shows dedication and understanding of their customer's needs. Also, no "AI" or bouncing around my phone call. Troy (the manager) and Dylan (the fantastic salesman) were nothing but marvelous people to work with. As soon as I stepped in the door, I knew I was going to get great service at a reasonable price. The tremendous service from the store was especially on display with the delivery. Jesus and the other delivery men called when they were supposed to, and showed up when they said they would. Then, they made easy work of taking a brand new hot tub up about 14 stairs....In 100+ heat! All the while, they were friendly, and helpful (they walked me through how to start and maintain the hot tub after they installed it and wired it to my 220v breaker). Update: Swim Spa still not fixed but they are working on it. Apparently the wrong part was sent to fix it and they only discovered that after they drained it about half way down. So we wait for the part and supposedly it will be fixed next Tuesday but now we have a grinding sound and the sound of running water coming from one side of the spa. We might be the unlucky purchasers of a lemon. Not Tucson Hot Tubs' fault not frustrating. Stay tuned. We shopped several places for a swim spa and decided on Tucson Hot Tubs. We liked Dylan, the salesperson and felt he was honest with us. We purchased the swim spa and from there on out, not such a great experience. First, the Dylan quoted us a price on the crane we would have to use to put it in our yard. When it came time to use the crane company about 2 weeks later the price doubled and ours was an easy placement. Then when it was installed, the stairs were set up incorrectly and there was a part missing on the spa, which we still don't have by the way. It was supposed to have been delivered when the set up training happened, along with delivering the correct manual we still don't have. Then we see it wasn't the same spa we ordered. They told us it was an upgraded model. I have my doubts about that. When the people came out to show my husband how to set up and run the unit and all they cared about was getting out of the job. Not much was learned. They did however correct the stairs. And NOW we have several leaks. I emailed the attached pictures 4 days ago and they said they would have someone reach out to us to get it straightened out. We still haven't heard but I did send a second email asking them when we might hear from them. Overall, I would have to say I wouldn't recommend them with the service I have had so far. I'm really sad because I was sure this was the place to purchase our swim spa. I just hope they fix the leaks. read more

We went to Tucson Hot Tubs to start the process of looking at spas. When we walked in, we were greeted by the staff and helped by Jace. We told him what we wanted and he explained everything to us and showed us all the models including the refurbished models. When we left, we purchased a pre-owned jacuzzi spa. After getting the electrical installed at our house for the spa, we called back and they were able to put us on the schedule quickly. When they came out, they were incredibly professional and installed it preciously where we wanted it. We did have an issue where one of the internal parts broke on install, but they had Tyler out the next day to resolve the problem. A few days after it was fixed, we thought there may be problems with some of the jets. It was more user error, but Tyler was quick to return to our home and explained how our spa worked in great detail. Tyler was incredibly helpful and guided us through everything we needed to know. Overall, we were amazed by our experience, the professionalism of their sales staff, installers, and repair folks. It is nice to have a locally owned business that really cares about their customers. Boy I tell you what, if you're ready for a hot tub, just save yourself some time and hassle, and skip to the part where you end up at Tucson Hot Tubs. I didn't do that, I started with a place that was close to me on NW side, and was rebuffed with a "I guarantee you will not find a hot tub in Tucson for under $9k, and even if you did, no one will have anything in stock". I was pretty despondent, as I had been saving for a while and was excited to pull the trigger. Luckily I randomly decided to stop in later that week, and ended up sitting down with Troy, who is an absolute GEM. Not only was EVERYTHING I wanted under $9k, the service was absolutely top notch, and they had the exact tub in stock that I wanted! I cannot say enough good about them, you just need to go see for yourself. We need more businesses in Tucson like this one! read more

The sales person, Andy, was informative and helpful while still giving me space to think and make a decision. Riding out the Pandemic with socially distancing it became clear to me, that the time was right to get a Hot Tub. I have had the wiring in for a long time and I always had an excuse not to buy one. I had time on my hands and I always do my research when making a purchase of this size. So on a day in August I went to the place that had the best reviews for quality of the hot tub and locally owned. Jayce was my salesman, he was masked and quite pleasant. When he asked me when I wanted the tub, I said NOW!!! He laughed and said there was a 4 month backorder for a tub. I asked him if he was sure, and then he found out there was one on the floor that was going to be changed out and that was the only one available. I looked at it climbed inside, with no water in it, got out and handed him my credit card and bought it within 20 minutes of being in the store. I had done my research and I was confident in my purchase. They got me signed up for delivery, they brought it into the yard set it up, gave me a tutorial and I have been hot tubing ever since. Everything was great - right up to the time it wasn't. The control board died after two years. Still under warranty. They came out to diagnose the problem (for a fee). Said they would order the part. Then nothing. After two weeks I called and they said they were waiting on the part. Two more weeks and nothing. I call again. Still waiting on the part and no eta. Too bad for me. So what prospective purchasers need to know is that at this point Tucson Hot Tubs can't service its products. UPDATE: The spa is now up and running. We started shopping for a spa about a month ago. Not easy to do during a pandemic. But I masked up and visited multiple dealers in the Tucson area. I started with Tucson Hot Tubs on East 22nd. I got a friendly greeting when I entered the shop. However I asked to be left alone for a bit and just wandered around and looked at spas. When I had questions I encountered Taylor and proceeded to bomb him with all sorts of questions. Unfortunately there was nothing on the floor available for purchase. Most spa's are backordered. But he mentioned that he might have some used/refurbished tubs available in the future. At that point a used hot tub really didn't seem like an option I would consider. I continued my search and hit probably every hot tub and spa store in the Tucson. Sometimes I was completely ignored. Most of the time I was approached by a salesperson and given a brief introduction to their offerings but told that EVERYTHING was on backorder and/or would not be available for a couple of months. Beyond that perfunctory intro I was left with the feeling that short of an order for a future spa most of the shops were not interested in me. I swung back to Tucson Hot Tubs and connected with Taylor again. He gave me lots of info on their refurbed spas. I asked to be put on their mailing list. A couple weeks later I was notified that a spa meeting my requirements was available. I quickly reconnected with Taylor and put a deposit on the 8' Jacuzzi. It was delivered a week or two later. Tucson Hot Tub helped me find an electrician to set up the wiring etc. In addition they made recommendations for its placement and assisted me in getting a concrete pad poured. On delivery day Mark and an assistant arrived in a truck with our spa. Shortly thereafter Taylor showed up to supervise. Next a large crane arrived to hoist the spa up in the air, over numerous Palo Verde trees, over a wall and onto the new pad. Three minutes later the spa was in place and the Tucson Hot Tub crew worked quickly and efficiently to hook it up. Next Mark provided a simple but complete tutorial on how to care for the tub. That night we enjoyed the new spa. From start to finish these guys did a fabulous job in making the whole experience flawless. From the electrical work to the concrete pad to the 'air lift' of the spa to the set up they did a great job. I cannot emphasize enough how excellent the service was! We are completely satisfied with our "new" Jacuzzi, with the white glove treatment from the Tucson Hot Tub crew to the pricing etc etc. read more

I walked in approx 2 weeks ago to discuss purchasing a swimspa, spoke with salesman Rick, received a quote by text 2 days later - I'm a nurse and after the wreck that this year has been, I was looking forward to a well-deserved selfcare treat. I had asked a couple of questions about financing to which I didn't receive a response. I got my financing together, had my downpayment ready, called back to discuss purchasing and after conferring with the owner, he informed "Oh sorry, we're going to use that one as FLOOR STOCK". I'm not in sales, but it is counter-intuitive to me to refuse a sale in favor of making an item a display model. A few pointed questions later, I couldn't determine what the likelihood would be that, even if I did put down a deposit towards the next similar model to come in (in 2021, no less!) that the exact same decision wouldn't be made and I would be stuck with no swim spa and out $8k+ in non-refundable deposit with no recourse. I explained that I was done and would be purchasing elsewhere. Icing on the cake - the next day, he texts me a quote for another swim spa that is coming in (supposedly) late November, not outfitted with the single upgrade I had explained it would HAVE to have in order for me to purchase. Showroom is nice, so I guess that's worth a star. Otherwise, if you like to get your hopes up and then have them crushed, this is the place for you. read more

We picked out a used Hot Tub, which we were willing to purchase, but the salesman couldn't give us an actual price, due to it not yet being reconditioned. He gave us a range, which we agreed was acceptable. We left our name and number for him to call when it was done. Currently have an order for a Hot tub. Was told 6 weeks at most 8. Putting the delivery mid September early October. The hotub still has not arrived or even left the factory. When I call to just cancel it and ask for my deposit I am told they have a standard 25% "restock" fee!? They don't have it to restock? They also noted they have a wait list for the exact product and would easily sell it but still insist they must collect the fee? Please look elsewhere. My 12-year-old Jacuzzi hot tub was in a sad state of disrepair with only two options, 1) get rid of it, or 2) fix it. Tucson Hot Tubs sent Derek to my house twice to drain, clean, and refill the tub; measure for a new cover, install the cover, and remove the old one; replace filters; identify operational problems with pump and ozonator and replace both. Now our tub is virtually brand new and I'm hoping it has another 12 years of life in it. Staff at the office and, of course, Derek who did all the heavy lifting, were great. What a great company. I stopped in and found exactly the spa I wanted and they happened to have a floor model. I made payment and arranged for delivery. Because they were so busy the delivery was scheduled for two weeks in the future. I had a delivery time schedule between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. and I called a couple days in advance and asked if they could try to be there as early as possible because I had other things to do that day. The owner said he would ensure they got there as close to 8 o'clock as possible. I got a call about 7:40 that said they were a couple miles away and would be there in just a few minutes. They arrive before 8 o'clock. Getting into my backyard was not a problem so they removed the spa from the truck and got it into the backyard and just a couple of minutes. One technician installed the cover lock down brackets while the other technician explained the chemical processes. As soon as the spa was adequately filled with water the technician explained the control panel and all of the features. By 9:15 the spa was heating and the technicians had already Departed. Since I haven't yet used spa I can't comment on it. this review is strictly for the business. I would recommend Tucson hot tubs and spas and their owner Taylor and his technicians to anyone interested in purchasing a spa. Thanks for a very smooth transaction. read more
