The owner, Tyler, arrived and was friendly and professional. He diagnosed and replaced the heater element within the quoted estimate. Total job was about an hour. I was nice to see that the owner also does repairs when they're busy. It shows dedication and understanding of their customer's needs. Also, no "AI" or bouncing around my phone call. Just great, dependable service. Thanks Tucson Hot Tubs!

This was the first and only location visited when interested in purchasing a Hot Tub, felt comfortable at the location and the Staff was Great.  Once we decided on the right size of unit for the space available, the rest was easy with Great Assistance from Dylan.  We had to wait a week for delivery, and the delivery process went extremely smooth with no problems or damages.  Tyler and Sam delivered our unit and were very helpful in informing me of everything I needed to know for success.  Install was an Awesome Experience, Thanks Tyler and Sam!!! Thanks to this Tucson Family-Owned Business for putting my mind at ease at point-of-sale and without pressure of making a purchase.  This location also does repairs on their units as they get older and need Maintenace, and no need for searching for a repair person.  Solid!  Our unit works Wonderfully and is used almost every day and looks Great on our Patio without taking a lot of room.  It's Perfect and the Cover Bracket is the BEST Ever compared to our last unit!  WooHoo! Okay here's the situation. I almost didn't hire these folks because the lady that handles the front…read moredesk is both incompetent and unpleasant. I initially called and she said the owner would get back to me. He never did so when I called back, she told me I had never called her before. I know I called her? I recognized her voice (which sounds like someone needs to switch to filtered cigarettes), and I have met the owner, Bob. I told her I was sure I had? And she yelled at me that I hadn't because she had looked me up on the call sheet. I looked in my call log on my phone. I had called them. She still insisted I hadn't. It was so weird. At that moment, I realized that I was arguing over the phone with a stranger, so I asked her if she wanted to clean my pool or not and she calmed down and said she did want our business so what did I want? Also they seem to have difficulty getting the bills in the mail. And when I have needed something extra the message is not passed on. So why the four star review? Is this just Yelp inflation? Nope. My pool guy, Trey, is the best. My pool is crystal clear. He takes care of everything and he even shows me what to do if I have any problems when he is not there. Trey is very thorough with the vacuum and skimmer and even showed me the right way to vacuum the pool so that if I needed to vacuum, I would not screw up the pump. He is always on time, except the one time he cane a day early because he had a doctor's appointment. If you can get past whatever is happening at the front desk there, you will be rewarded with a perfect pool.

I really don't like bashing local businesses, but I think this is worthy. This is regarding their…read morepool maintenance, not their pool building, Patio Pools has been servicing this pool every month for 14 year (since it was built) for the previous owner. This information came from Patio, not from the previous owner. The current rate of their monthly service is $165. The service agreement states they will do weekly cleaning of the pool including the cartridge filter, brush the pool, test and maintain the chemistry, and take care of equipment parts and accessories like the lid, filter o-rings, etc. They were last here 12.03.25, and today is 12.24.25. This is what I found: lots of scale on the pool (from running the pH too high), INCREDIBLY dirty filter caked with mud, a broken latch on the filter case, old and/or rotten o-rings and gaskets. The chlorine was very low, so I went to turn up the inline chlorinator and crumbs of the disintegrating o-ring fell out, then it started to leak. I then opened the chlorinator and there was no chlorine pack in there. Now this could be because it's winter, but it is 80 degrees outside and they serviced the pool 3 weeks ago! The pH of the pool was high 8.1 and 8.6 on two different testing systems, the CYA was over a HUNDRED while the chlorine was 0.5. Ideally, chlorine should be 7.5-10% of your CYA. Several studies have shown CYA over 80 is useless and will just cause you to waste expensive chlorine tablets. With this much CYA, NO chlorine disinfecting is taking place and the only way to lower CYA is to drain the pool. So then I took a look at the pump. The gasket was old had small rocks in-bedded in it. Come on guys, are you trying to destroy my stuff?? For the past 160 months or so, Patio has been taking in $120-$165 per month. So they've pocketed upwards of about 20K and now I'm going to have to spend at least 5k fixing what they've neglected.
