When we called him later on his cell phone there was no voice mailbox available, so we thought that was wierd too. Eventually we did purchase what we were looking for, but it has not been delivered yet, sooooooo, the final jury is still out. We don't feel very attached, but we are keeping our fingers crossed that everything works out as we have been assured.

I was met promptly coming through the door and they answered all of my questions. My appliance was delivered within 2 days. Delivery was quick and I saved on a service fee by having both my seal and the stove done at the same time. My delivery person was nice. He came in and got the job done. I haven't gotten a chance to use my stove yet but everything seems to be working. The delivery person cleaned up after himself on the way out and took my old unit with him which I did pay for. Their delivery prices were very reasonable. Every unit on their floor appears to come with a warranty which I really liked. Most of their items are used/refurbished/open box items so I felt a lot more confident purchasing knowing there was a warranty and the items had been inspected.

Determined it was a burned pump and quoted $350 to repair. But he included a 2nd $85 charge for another return visit. Other operators stock parts and don't require a 2nd visit. I even asked ahead if he would have parts for this model and he assured me he would have them. I ended up just buying a new dishwasher. When the installers came, they found that the hose was clogged and so I shouldn't have even needed a replacement. This should have been a very simple repair. Instead I wasted $85 on an incorrect diagnosis and spent $600 on a new dishwasher I didn't need. Be sure to confirm that repairs can be made the same day. And be sure that your service tech does a thorough inspection of hose lines.

The store is similar to a BestBuy with the addition of baby items, furniture, toy section and perfume / makeup section. There is also a small children's play area (so parents can shop). It appears to be a more rent to own type of store where you can open a store credit card (there a section of the store set up for financing - like a bank with a row of desks next to the micro cafe area (and the children's play area). In each section of the store you are greeted by an employee eager to sell you something and help you apply for store credit. Most of the staff are very friendly. I was surprised that with 4 employees of the beauty section - no one greeted us or offered assistance. I did some price comparisons in the baby section and their prices were comparable to Amazon and Walmart's prices.

I say I know Captain Obvious thats why I called for it to be repaired. I explained to him the issues i was having and he doesn't even look at the ice maker and says we will order a new one. It takes a week and a half with no response and I have to call them for an update. Miraculously they say the picked up the new ice maker that day. I schedule a time for them to come out and the technician installs it and says it should make ice in about 3 hours....no luck doesn't work. I leave 4 text messages to the owner with no response. I finally call him and he says he will call me back to schedule a time to come look at it. 2 days later no response so i call him and he says "he's trying but they are really busy". Still no definite time given they will come to look at it. This goes on for several more days. I finally call warranty company to complain and they put in another claim...i confirm with the owner that they got the new claim and he would call to schedule an appointment. 3 more days pass and no communication. I called warranty company again and they reach the owner and he lies to them and tells them he "texted me but i never responded". I have since transferred the claim to another contractor. This company is beyond amateur hour. Zero organization and communication skills. If you like waiting for several days to get a response for subpar work they are the number 1 company to call!

To date, the only work completed has been the installation of cabinets. No sink, dishwasher, or functional kitchen has been provided. As of January 25, 2026, my home still does not have a usable kitchen. This has created serious hardship for my household. My mother lives with me and is a disabled senior citizen who uses a walker. The unfinished kitchen leaves her with limited and unsafe space to move around, and we have been unable to properly prepare meals for months. While my family went without a kitchen for Thanksgiving and Christmas, Southwest Home Repair experienced no such hardship, despite having been paid in full. This situation has caused ongoing stress, inconvenience, and financial harm. I have contacted Southwest Home Repair numerous times. When they respond, they repeatedly state they will return "tomorrow" or "next Monday," but they never show up. They have also failed to provide any receipts, invoices, or documentation for the payment received, despite repeated requests. This project was handled as an insurance claim, and Southwest Home Repair stated the amount charged was necessary to complete all kitchen repairs. However, the work remains largely unfinished with no accountability or timeline for completion. So here we are over 2 years this place has no clear timeline of when they can finish a job. Yes I get it dishwasher, ovens and what not are easy stuff they should be good at that. But the big MAN blue collar jobs they can find people or the help to finish jobs. Lol what a joke place.
