This is the worst return process I have ever experienced. I purchased four barstools online and I put one of them together so we could see how it looks in our home. My wife did not like it. When I called to make the return, I was told I had three options. One option was to pay for the four separate shipping labels I needed to get at a cost of $248.14. despite the total of all four barstools was $623. The second option was that I can make one return per month as a member and since I wasn't a member, I could only do that if I became a member. The person on the phone said it's free to make the return but I had to pay $19.95 Plus tax to become a member in order to make that "free shipment". And I could only get store credit . The third option was that I could go to any carrier I wanted and pay for them to ship it back. None of these options allowed me to take it to any store as I was told there are no longer any stores. That was false. I also had to disassemble the one barstool that I had assembled, and I needed to make sure they were all wrapped up and placed back in the box in the manner in which I received it! That alone is a very special talent. Given that this is Presidents' Day weekend, and I wanted to take advantage of the sales that we're going on, they could not expedite anything such that if I wanted to use the store credit to now purchase a different set of barstools, the timing of their process would not make that happen. And we noted that the same barstools we looked at went up $50 per barstool from the pricing. It was the other day. The return process was that once they received the boxes in hand, they would take up to five days to review and determine if everything was satisfactory and then if it was satisfactory, it would be another 24 to 48 hours to actually get any credit. Basically we would miss the window of the sale. On the phone I was told that if they could see that the item was scanned, they would give me the credit early so that I could use the Sale pricing but then in my follow up on the email after having shipped the items back that was reversed. This is absolutely the worst return experience I have ever experienced in all my years of purchases in store and online. ! If there was a way to give zero stars I would. These people are absolute crooks ! read more

For instance king size comforter from $40 to over 200.00 but fairly broad selection. Bed pillows were from about $55 to $150 for one which seemed pricey to me. Nice variety of kitchen tools. There was some patio chairs and fans but most is bed, bath and kitchen items. They often have coupons which would be worth waiting for for some items. read more

Don't shop with this company. Their return policy is ridiculous!! When most companies allow at least a 60-90 day return policy, they only allow a 30-day policy. Each individual item from the order is considered as one return, so you have to mail back in many boxes. If you return after 30 days they will take an additional 50% of your purchase price. Good luck finding anyone to help you. Employees milling around, I was told it wasn't their department or they were clocked out for break. So I go to walk out and some girl scream across the floor asking if I need any help. I ask if I can buy some of the large pool floats that are blown up already since I don't have an air pump at home. I am told "no" then I ask if they would be willing to blow up the pool floats with their air compressor and I am told no once again. I was told I should invest an air compressor. Terrible customer service & quality! Recently purchase a set of towels & the first time I used one of the washcloths, all the color came out leaving big, white splotches. So, I threw it away. Then when I washed the bath towels (which are really thin compared to past purchases) one of them came out with long strings hanging off it. I contacted customer support & was told I could get an exchange at one of their stores, which are all closed due to covid-19 restrictions, which left me with sending it back (after boxing, taping, etc) by Fedex. I asked. Oh those are in the back of the store near storage and closets, the young girl replied. So I start my hunt and didn't see anything that would resemble closet items and what are closet items anyway? I see another girl through the aisle and ask her to help me but it's more like anything but Sports stuff, so she suggests we look online, finds the item orders it and gives me 20%. I come to this store normally when I'm looking for something specific. I never go in without coupons because they take all of their own coupons , expired or not. That's kind of a bonus! They aren't the best price, but the coupons make them competitive. My most recent trip was to grab a microwave and keurig for my office. I asked an employee when I walked in and he took me straight to what I needed. He also lifted the stuff and put it in my cart for me which was nice. He also directed me to k-pods for 20% off. I wasn't going to buy them here but he said they were on sale. The bummer was when I went to pay, the clerk said the coffee was on sale last week and not now. Even when I pushed back and told her that the employee told me about it and she still said no on price. I thought that was lame because I felt they needed to honor that. We finally received info stating it was delivered, but it was delivered to an address in Florida per the Fedex tracking. That was a problem since we live in TEXAS. BB&B validated the mistake, but refused to give us a refund or replacement unless a police report was filed. She was so professional and corrected my issue and still stayed true to store policies. Excellent customer service! Another time a Rivergate Tennessee store on the phone guided us as we thought we had lost screws to a do it yourself project. They were there tucked away in the box. The people we talked to were very kind and still treated us respectfully. Another time last Christmas a Franklin Tennessee store...think her name was Jennifer...called other stores to find my comforter (a close out item) and found one across the US in California! I placed an order on November 30th, they charged my card on Dec 9th, the same day I received an email stating my item had been shipped and was on the way. I was given with a product which is not in the bill (color of the item is different in the bill compare to given one). Also they did not offer 20% discount which is going in store purchase during thanks giving. After 2 days when I went for return, they rejected the return product because item code on the product not matches with the code on the bill. Instead of refunding full amount back to my credit card, they offered store coupon with reduction of 20%. Surprisingly, I found item code with in the same store that matches with my bill. I argued but not accepted my return full return. Thank god, my item cost not more than $10. Seems like these guys are cheering customers by printing a wrong product code on the bill that we usually wont check. I have been a regular customer for years and always felt positive about my interactions with the store until today. I went to return three defective bathroom rugs that had started falling apart. I had bought them about 6-8 weeks earlier and no longer had a receipt. After an hour of talking to three different people, the store operations manager told me they had never stocked these rugs, implying I must be confused or a liar. He was unable to find a SKU number, so he offered me $5 per rug against the purchase of new rugs. I'd guess the old rugs cost $20-30 each, so I thought the $5 was insulting. He informed me that the warranty on the rugs was only 60 days, implying that I was lucky to be offered anything at all. I was saddened that the manager and the store would not stand behind their products. I did not accept his offer, left the defective rugs behind and I won't be shopping at Bed, Bath and Beyond any more. I'll go "beyond" to another store and hope for better integrity. read more

So, I had almost a perfect experience in this store. Although, when it went bad it went bad. I spent nearly 3 hours picking out new bedding. That's right picking out new bedding. When you're buying Egyptian cotton and the cost is $25.00 a pillow case you want to get it right. We bought a new duvet cover and new sheets, pillow cases, shame etc. We ended up picking sheets they couldn't find. I spent 45 minutes just waiting for the manager and the associate to find all the pieces we needed. Which I was fine with because they were so helpful. They gave me prices on each item because they talked us into getting even better sheets. Again, fine with it. Spent a great deal talking about quality and warranties. Well, the manager even gave us a 20% off one item coupon. Fantastic. Here's where the issue starts I get to the check out and i am greeted by a not so friendly checker. The sheets rang up $20.00 more at the register. I noticed it and she immediately got defensive, like it's her store and her profit. She said she needs to do a price check and I ask her to call the manager I was dealing with. It would save time instead she tossed that idea out the door. She paged any available associate for a price check. They called het back and she says no that price is correct. I tell her I would like to speak to the manager I was dealing with because he knows the price on the item since he gave it too me. She then picks up her phone and pages any manager to front desk. I finally had to step in and say can you please call the manager I was dealing with. She became very snooty and slammed the phone done. The manager walks up and I explain exactly what happen and he tells the cashier to mark the product down. Then the manager says sorry to me and off here went. The next thing you know this is really getting under her skin she calls her customer service desk manager over and yes I'm still here waiting to pay and leave. The checker starts complaining the manager how the override should be entered. Then the two of them talking amongst them self on how this wrong. I was getting so pissed off.I was spending nearly 500 in blankets and sheets and this worker clearly didn't have the customer in mind. The last thing I could hear here ramblings about how was she supposed to code the mark down. She started yelling for the manager's was dealing with. Although, he was long gone in his department. Finally, her boss said and I quote." you put it under customer satisfaction and he can deal with everything that comes down hill" They are getting 2 stars because of manager caseworker over sheets and blankets. If this was just on her and the other manager it would be 1 star. I would have given manager and people in bedding 5 stars. Although, I can only give one grade and the cashier/cashier manager team has mad me think twice about coming into this store again! !!! read more

Some women collect shoes, I collect kitchen wares. I absolutely love BB&B! For reference, I'll describe my last visit. We entered the store 10 minutes before closing time. We bought a vacuum cleaner, 2 skillets and a trashcan in that time. My point is that everything is so well laid out, you can find what you need in minutes! My daughters also found new bracelets and headbands as we waited to check out. For my specialty items, I shop at Williams-Sonoma, but for everyday housewares, it's BB&B all the way. read more

Honestly, this store is great. It's big and has all kinds of gadgets available for sale-- things you didn't even know you wanted until you saw it because you had no idea it existed until you walked into this store... Awesome. I could spend hours here just perusing everything. The biggest negative was customer service. I asked a couple of the staff for help and they acted like I was bothering them with the couple of questions I had, or even for something so simple as where an item was located. But then again, that's just the way it is I guess. The store is huge with all kinds of goodies you never knew you wanted, plus all the ones that you did know about. I'll keep shopping here but hopefully won't have to talk to any of the staff, who seem so annoyed to do their job and help the customers. Horrible. I spent $300 on a Halo Swivel Bassinet. First, I didn't receive it. They sent a bassinet base for a stroller. Not what I ordered. Second, the outer box was barely taped shut. Third, the box in which the bassinet base came in clearly had been opened multiple times. It looked as if returned (more than once). The box was ripped amd the base wasn't even in original wrapping. I am very surprised at the negative reviews showing. I have shopped at this BBB for probably 30+ years and it is one of my favorite stores. I always receive excellent service, great bargains and top notch quality. Love the coupons and reasonable prices. Most times if I ask where to find something the employee will take me to it. Recently, one person just pointed to the two directions for the item, but when I had a problem spotting it another employee was very helpful. I have NEVER had a bad experience. Also, recently my daughter wanted something that they were out of stock on and the Customer Service person was extremely helpful. She ordered it online, processed the payment and gave her the receipt. My daughter received the item in the mail a few days later and NO shipping or handling. read more
