I was so disappointed in this store. The pricing is full retail in most cases and on things that are clearly worn. Some of this stuff is nice but who's paying $1,100 for a used leather couch? Or $450 on a used medium sized storage cabinet! Oh but we were supposed to happy about that price because it was reduced from $660-ish! I don't care how MCM cool it is. This is a secondhand store. It was actually insulting. $45 for a coffee maker stand with burn marks on the top of it. We went to At Home 30 minutes later and bought a nicer one, NEW for $50. A painted screen was priced at $500! The "art" was all over priced. A used trundle bed with chips and no mattress, $225. I could go on and on but this review is bumming me out. I guess some of these pieces are "worth" these prices somewhere but not at a store like this one. Also, the folks who work or volunteer there ignored our very friendly "Hello" and "good bye" and were more interested in their phones, shopping themselves or conversing with each other. Not one person asked if we could use some help even after I tried to get their attention. I have volunteered for Habitat for Humanity in years past and nothing about this place screams "we're here to help the community" On a better note, and I'm really digging here, they do have cheap paint. They also have lots of things for a house like toilets, headboards, lighting fixtures (if you're able to piece one together), conduit, tables, etc...... again I was very disappointed. I hope your experience is different but this is mine and I'm here with my truth. The two stars are for the fact that they're open 7 days a week, and that I find it very difficult to give 1 star because they DO have household things as advertised. read more

It's been years since I was actually inside the store . It's has home building supplies and also home furnishings as I remember . I was there to drop off some building supply donations . They only take new paint unopened to see or use in their community projects . If donating you may want to call first to see what they would accept . Incredibly, wildly overpriced. Habitat for Humanity, who are you letting do your pricing for this store? Donated sofas that were $350-$650. A donated dining room set that was $1000. I think you people have lost your way... This is furniture that should be helping people of limited means I'm used to finding really good bargains at my Habitat in Phoenix. I walked out after five minutes, and I will never bother to go to this store again. read more

$700 for a dirty with flat cushions couch? Does the price reflect the vintage leather arms and that at one point in this couches life it might have been triple that price? That's the only reason I could think of why it would be so expensive for such a used and worn out couch. Come on, What is this? lol I won't complain about the $300 dressers and their super expensive wooden furniture because most of the wooden dressers and night stands are solid. I stopped in here with my dog (love any store my dog is welcome). We walked around just to check it out. The prices didn't seem like a deal - seemed average to high. There was a table with stuff people were picking over. I didn't stop to rummage with them. The style also seems average for the most part - nothing stood out as anything other them boxy, 1990s furniture. I didn't find a few pieces but you have to walk slowly to find them. This store has the best used furniture in town. Granted you don't always find what you want the first time you go there, but I have bought several things there and been very happy with everything. I bought the prices. I'm surprised our high as they are considering they are donated and it issues but it is what it is. I do recommend everyone going there and taking a look and trying to see if there's something that could fit in your home. You won't be sorry about anything there. read more

This place is a joke. I've donated several loads there recently and have yet to be greeted pleasantly or thanked for my contributions - and that is only when I can find someone to help me with heavy items. Today I donated a very nice 5x7 rug, lightly used, and which I just had cleaned Asian Trading for $100. It wasn't busy but I had to hunt for help, and all the guy said is Are there any stains or rips. Referring to an obviously just clean rug and like I can't read their rules. If you want to donate where your dollars will help and you'll feel good about it, go to The Humane Society Thrift Store on Wilmot. read more

The store name says Habitat for Humanity but they went and put a locked door so no one can use it! So I quess anybody off the street will be forced to use the parking lot! We always find great pieces of furniture for our home. The prices are a little high but worth it. Their store prices pieces fairly.

So I found this item I wanted. It was perfect my anniversary. I had to take call in the store and I was standing next to the item. A "volunteer" picked it up and was looking at it. I told her I was going to purchase it. She told me "No you can't. It's been purchased". She brought it up to the counter. I saw her looking at it and trying to look it up on her phone when I was standing there, so I know she wanted the item for herself! The store was nearly empty. The manager came up. I told him I wanted to buy the item and he said "it was sold". That was a lie. I had to continue dealing with my business issue on the phone outside the store for about an hour. No one came out with the item! It's not fair that volunteers or employees can take things from you on the floor! read more

Popped into this location as I needed some stain but they didn't have any. So I did a little browsing and had to note that there prices are very high in comparison to the Portland OR metro stores. It's a small store filled more with furniture and a lot of really outdated appliances. Lots of people but didn't see a-lot of purchases being made. read more

If you need items around the house such appliances and doors. This is the place to go of course you can't find exactly what you want, but sometimes you can get lucky and find exactly what you are looking for. Price is great and a large sized store. They could use more inventory because when we went it was kinda low and most were already sold. Also, they have donation center to the right of the store. read more

Friends from Phoenix introduced me to the Habi Store where I found a solid oak 7 feet tall desk that is perfect for my needs and goes perfectly with the rest of our furniture. I have always wanted to check this place out after Habitat for Humanity hosted a Yelp party. And this week the stars aligned at the perfect time. I was checking out Facebook and a beautiful Midnight Blue Kenmore Elite HE washer and dryer popped up in my news feed. The second I saw it I asked if they would hold but I was told to come into the store. Luckily I was the first of many interested customers to arrive and they accepted my Yelp discount of 10%! And there were no taxes! SCORE! They will hold your item for three days if you need to rent a truck or they can call Two Guys and a Truck for a fee. It is all donated items. Think the furniture section at a Goodwill mixed with Home Depot. If you are remodeling it is the perfect place to shop. For example, Buffalo Wild Wings purchased all new tables, chairs, and bar stools, so they donated their used ones. Also, they have a color coded discount system. Check the tag to see when the item arrived, a month later it will be marked down until it sells. On top of that, they also have sales. This week is sinks, headboards and filing cabinets 50 % off. Plus, the customer service rocks! Great communication on Facebook and we lost our receipt prior to pick up. I called them and they printed us a new receipt with no hesitation. On electronics there is a 30 day refund period as well. Today we pick it up and I can't wait to play with the steam finish! read more

I drove by yesterday and did a U-turn as soon as I noticed this store - and am SO glad I did! One of the first things I noticed when I walked in the door was a sign that said entertainment centers 50% off. After striking up a conversation with one of the volunteers, Anthony, I learned that they will pick up entertainment centers and all kinds of other household items. I'm telling all my friends who, like me, are trying to downsize. This is a great place to go to find treasures. With Anthony's help, I looked at and purchased a beautiful original painting. SO happy we have one of these stores - I'll be back and will be making donations!! read more

Maybe I'm missing the point. I thought the restore was to raise money for habitaré for humanity and recycling used goods. This restore is priced really high and a little light on the little thing that we all need for projects. I'm talking scraps of EMT or buckets of old nails. I hope they go up to silver city NM and check out a REAL restore! tons of stuff in and out every hour they are open. prices to sell and tons of stuff crammed in. Im sure someone ran the numbers you can sell 2 expensive things rather than 100 cheap things and it's less work etc. that is capitalism. but lets move forward for the same old l, why not? read more

BUT....... their prices are ridiculously​ high considering I have been in many 'Habitat for Humanity' stores throughout​ the nation. kind of reminds me of Goodwill in that they price things higher than what you can buy them new at Walmart. One male staff was very rude! maybe since he had a vest that said volunteer he thinks he doesn't get paid to be nice or halfway decent to customers. I asked for help looking at an item and he banged it around and dented it more. He was so anxious for me to just grab the item and get out but I wanted to look at it to see if it would work for my project. I bought a 52 cubic feet plastic shed from this store for $89.10 with the Monday 10% discount for veterans. It is a Rubbermaid #3746. It has been stopped making in April 2014. I got mine in January 2015. It has been or is on sale at Amazon for $568. Mine was all put together. It now stores my 26 in. wheeled bicycle. I continue to improve it with places from 2 more padlocks and external leaf hinges. Now the doors cannot be removed by a screwdriver. This place (and other thrift stores) are a business and are sharper than us. This place has a printout of maybe eBay website. They have had an art work that has been appraised at $1,800 and has been in this store for $900. Not on my want list. read more

The people there are great, service cannot be beat. However, the last year the store has drastically raised their prices, I am all for charity but they have raised their prices by over 50%. I don't mind paying a fair price for items but they are gouging people. Today was supposed to be a red tag Sale day, most of the red tag items were marked so ridiculous even 50% off was no deal. Sad to see a non profit organization try to take advantage of people. I know the management changed, maybe they need to do that again. read more
