Fyi, I only occasionally buy from this type of business (last time I bought 3 mattresses sofa recliners dressers and headboards) & spent $8k. This time I was only looking for quality outdoor patio furniture. They had a small selection in the waaay back. Prices were sort of high, but what isn't these days? So I won't review on that, but there was just a lot of the same old stuff in the same old colors. Idea: if you want more shoppers, please carry a few pieces with unique colors &or styles. Overall it wasn't unpleasant, the sales staff was not aggressive (I appreciate that) and the store was clean and quite full.

The store has broad selection of seasonal and year-round wares that are colorful and interesting. All the above said, I have two issues with the place. First, the seasonal products like Talavera and pottery are priced higher than other merchants by 20% and I think that may be due to their location and the amount of inventory--my best advice is to wait for a sale. Second is the lack of a public restroom which I find ridiculous--they advertise on social media so their audience is broad, after a two-hour trip being told you can use a restroom at Trader Joe's is ridiculously inconvenient. Would I recommend The Happy Saguaro? Yes and no, if you're in the area or enroute to other destinations, it's worth a stop. If you're looking for something in particular you have to have, call and it can be worth the drive but realize you may be paying for it.

However, as you start paying closer attention a lot of their stuff has scratches, damage or defects. We bought a rug there. Brought it home and noticed a defect. It went back to the store. On a different occasion I purchased an accent table online. A couple of hours later I get a call from the store. It turns out all of the tables they have in stock have scratches so the purchase had to be canceled. Luckily they have a great return policy. You have 60 days to return an item no questions asked...I guess overall it's good to have a place like that near by but look your purchases over carefully...
