I've never sold anything, only been a buyer so My review is based on the buying experience. It's basically a local version of Ebay. Bid on items with a set end time and highest bidder wins. You never know what you'll find at their auctions. I've bought items ranging from woks, to tables, tools and folding chairs. Appreciate that they'll ship items from Phoenix to Tucson and vice versa. Make sure to examine or test your items quickly because you have 24 hours to return your items. I've returned different items that either didn't work or were damaged and haven't had any issues. A few of our items broke after the return window, but the vast majority are still working. Be warned it can get addicting. read more

Absolute garbage company. Do not do business with them. They won't respond. They sent me a beat up oven and have yet to call me or contact me after multiple attempts. Also, delivery took two weeks! My oven sat on super status for a week before it shipped. No tracking info. No communication about the delay or where my item was. Currently working through Ebay to get some resolution because these scumbags won't own up to their garbage. read more

We love the good stuff they auction. Like all auction houses, they do sell some returned items that you may find missing parts & misc issues, but they will take it back within 24 hours. 5 of the 6 auctions I've won went smoothly. Unfortunately the 6th felt like a borderline scam, with buyers being setup to fail to obtain their purchases. The auction ended less than 24 hours from when items were required to be picked up. Then it took another 12+ hours before they sent out the auction results. I received the email to pickup a granite bathroom vanity top after 6:30am and the only time to get it was 10am-4pm that same day. Less than 10hrs notice when they could have easily given 22hrs notice. Even better they could schedule auctions with only one day for pickup to close more than 24hrs before pickup time. Aside from this they have always promptly sent out notifications on auction close. I would understand if this was a simple mistake, but after multiple emails it does not appear that is the case, it sounds like this is an intentional strategy they employ. read more

Mike picked up 14 pairs of antique (vintage 1800's) indoor shutters from me. I told him the historic heritage on them and was assured they would be stored safely. I had the sets wrapped and labeled with dimensions. Due to Covid & slow business I went and got them. I was in shock when his goons brought them to my car. Unwrapped, pairs separated, extreme wood damage (as if tossed in a yard somewhere) and missing hardware that again, dated back to the 1800 century. It was hand pounded metal and white glass knobs made in England. He lied but more than that showed no integrity or caution in handling my merchandise. The financial burden and labor hours that will be spent to try to revive them is enormous. The man is not fit to run a business. If he had a brain it would rattle. No respect for people's property at all. read more

I have bought numerous items at their auction and for the most part it's worked ok. However, two major problems have become apparent. One is that if an item is returned that same defective item goes right back into another auction in the broken state in which it was returned! The second observation is that if you return an item they won't refund the sales tax (TPT) even though the law requires it. I think that's terribly dishonest. Be very careful before buying anything from this house and check if an item is fully serviceable before you leave the warehouse. read more

I've purchased several items from Auction-Tucson and on average, I'd say they're pretty good. It just depends on what you're buying and where it comes from. Sometimes it's difficult to tell what the quality of the item actually is when viewed online. Usually, if you win an item, you take your invoice down to their shop and they hand it over. It's usually takes less than 15 minutes. But beware of "on-site" auctions. I bought two small items recently at an "on-site" auction in Green Valley. They seemed very disorganized and I ended up waiting in line 45 minutes before I could even hand them my paperwork. Then another 10 minutes or so while they want to find it! A number of things would have made it easiser - a "take-a-number" system and a few chairs would have made the wait bearable, and then streamline the way people are handled when they get there. 0 stars. Had I read any of this I would NEVER let these Thieves handle my items. Mike Cummings And is little helper James are lying sacks of crap. They took my items, made a bunch of promises, that were heard by several others, and sold my stuff for less that 1/4 of its value. they promised me they would not let it go for pennies on the dollar. they would pull items and give them back to me to sell on my own or re-auction the items to insure better value. It took many phone calls and being blown off many times to fond out they robed me blind. I received a $5,000 check for $40,000 worth of items, . and before they come on here and try to point fingers at me, I have witnesses and a signed contract that they in fact violated. THEY stated the escalation and throwing me out of the shop and refused to return my items that did not sell. They are thieves, Liars and cheats.........BTW most of the positive posts are either employees, Family members or relations. read more
