After a couple of weeks, I left a voice message inquiring how the estimate was going; after three weeks I sent an e-mail and requested a reply....now it's a month and I have not heard a word. I find this totally unprofessional and irresponsible. Is it because it was a small job comparatively; is it because I am a woman and don't know very much about design or remodeling, is it because I told him I was on a budget???? I will never know. If he didn't want to or couldn't do this job, all he needed to do was say so. I would have moved on. In my older age, I want to speak up when there is an inequity, poor performance, lack of respect and people not doing their job. Would he like his wife or mother to get this type of treatment? We've dealt with a lot of contractors - flooring, tile, electrical, handymen, and I have to say our experience with Deluxe Granite was by far the best experience of all these different projects. We are absolutely thrilled with every aspect of our experience! First of all, just the planning and communication aspects were fantastic! Rene was great to work with. So was Sharon, handling the office administration, she was easy to work with too. Rene responded quickly, came out to measure, showed us some options, and communicated clearly about the process, the timeline, etc. We ended up going with granite, although we weren't sure initially if it would be quartz or granite, and we're really glad we went with granite. She showed us a photo of the slab, and that was good enough for us, we chose not to look at it in the showroom, and when it did arrive and got installed, it was completely true to the picture, so we were quite happy with the way it looked. The entire process took very little of our time. I could not believe how quickly both the initial consultation with Rene and measuring the template (thank you, Nick!) took, let alone the actual installation (removal of existing and installation of new countertop). Leif and his assistant (sorry I didn't remember his name) did an excellent job. They showed up on time, got to work, tore down the old countertop, installed the new one, it seemed like in no time we were looking squarely at our beautiful new countertops! Leif was really personable and highly skilled, and communicated clearly about care and maintenance. This company is doing something right. They must have figured out a great business model. Consult, select, measure, take template, order slab, tear down and install. No problem. Well done. We did get other bids before choosing Deluxe Granite and some of them it seemed like it would take weeks or months, or we wouldn't get what we really wanted, or there was some kind of compromise somewhere. Not true for Deluxe Granite. We were happy with selection, material, timing, communication, installation, and cost! We are grateful for Deluxe Granite's work. Couldn't be happier. They even have excellent contacts for tile and handyman work. In fact we are having the tile work start tomorrow for the backsplash, which will look great with the new countertop! This was the best experience with any type of home installation or repair project we've had. I would HIGHLY recommend Deluxe Granite to anyone in the Tucson area.

Contacted Deluxe Granite through the Yelp app and they responded within a hour. I was able to set up a time and for $100 less than the other company. Leif arrived right on time, even a little early and walked me through the whole process. Within 10 mins he had the chip patched and sanded. He color matched it so well. He was masked the entire time. My wife couldn't even see where the patch was. Great experience. Definitely would recommend.

We bought a house with a kitchen clearly done in two stages, one side of the kitchen was dates, but…read moregood quality cabinets. The other side was incredibly cheap. The bottom of the drawer was bowing when I put silverware in the drawer, and had features, such as a large wine rack that we didn't need. We were looking for someplace that could reface part of the kitchen, and completely demo and rework the other side. We had a wonderful experience with Southwest Kitchen & Bath. Our sales person Lisa was wonderful to work with, triple confirming all the measurements so everything came in right the first time. Since everything had to be made custom, the total project was about 12 weeks, but the stages were clearly communicated up front, and we didn't have to clear out of the kitchen until after the new cabinets arrived, so the down time really wasn't too bad. We requested a few changes mid project, such as under cabinet lighting. Lisa and our project coordinator Katy were very helpful with suggesting what they could offer, but also options we could do ourselves if we wanted to go that route. If you want your kitchen to be the heart of your home without exceeding timelines and budgets, avoid this business. The prices are some of the most inflated prices in the local area - You can find better prices, business ethics, and much more competent employees with other companies in Tucson. Over the course of 8 months, there were constant staff changes--people were fired, reassigned, many people quit and the new hire PM was completely unprepared and had zero clue what she was talking about. So my designer got fired, I went through 2 different construction managers, four installers and the incompetent PM. While the owner himself handled a portion of the cabinet installation and was detailed in his work, that's where the positives ended. To make matters worse, I was required to pay 90% of the cabinet price three months before they even began making the necessary repairs and replacements. After the holidays I was contacted to pay the remaining 10% because they are in need of money for the business and I told them that I wasn't going to pay until the job was 100% complete. Also on the website it states "in business for 22 years." This is very misleading because the owner has only had the company for 3 years with only the name of the company being around for 22 years. Who does business like that? This company--Southwest Kitchen & Bath-- Is going to go out of business soon, and this business is one to avoid!!

They represented prior to signing that their timeline beginning to end was 8 weeks to complete install. after signing it changed to 12 which moved out our timeline considerably. The owner provided a courtesy to us with our order. His son was not pleased and let that reflect on his behavior towards us. After install their were issues. we crated a final punch list and they sent out a tech. the tech did not finish and said he would come back and did not. He said I signed off on final approval. That was false. Again, the Jr of this company acting out after being angry early on. My cabinets are not done and they still have work and want final payment. I wouldn't trust them to put together a desk from IKEA. Take your hard earned money elsewhere. But, if you have endless time, money, and bandwidth for abuse, go with these guys.
