I immediately reached out to Noah and sent him photos he said he would send out his guys to replace those travertine tiles and nothing but crickets. I've been beyond patient. It's now been 2 years and they've been through two service managers and I resend them the photos they say they will get back to me to schedule their guy and I never hear from them. I am so disappointed in this experience. We have stayed with them for their very expensive weekly service because we are loyal people, but I'm beyond frustrated with our experience. I really feel like once the build was done they don't care. I've reached out to them so many times and nothing but crickets. This is not how you should treat people who have remained loyal to you and over paid on your weekly service. The last service guy that was here said that the reason why our pool was so dirty (so we paid an extra $15 for each vacuuming) is because half of our built-in cleaning system isn't working. Our regular service guy never alerted us of this and now we're having trouble with the entire cleaning system, and this pool is only 3 years old. Noah, you said that you would happily replace all of the travertine tiles that your pool guy broke. I don't appreciate being treated like this after we spent $160,000 with you. If you want to finally fix this like you said you would reach out to my husband because I'm done working with you.

Definitely a ridiculous amount for literally no legit service. Felt like a money grab. They didn't respond to my email about the crazy amount. They sent an estimate that was way more expensive than it should cost to even replace that system. (I went elsewhere and they did a great job for far less)

Last week our pool tech Trevor notified me by text that our pool water level was getting low. I asked him to check the automatic fill valve to which he did and reported back that it was stuck. Trevor is to be commended for his detailed approach and follow through as well as follow up and communication with me. He likely saved me over a thousand dollars due to avoiding a fried pump. We got a total of 4 quotes, we ultimately…read morechose them because they had an answer for all of our questions, seemed very knowledgeable, and didn't try and rip us off. They are also a small business. For our design, we wanted a simple rectangle with a Baja step and umbrella holder, and later adjusted to add a waterfall. They were so helpful every step of the way. I was nervous about the pavers and turf in my yard getting ruined, but they did a wonderful job protecting it all as best as they could. Their timeline was also very realistic, they showed up when they said they would, and all of their contractors were friendly. I really have to credit Tim, the project manager, he set the expectation and explained what the yard would look like in the interim, the timeline, and how everything goes. I'm noticing some of the reviews are mentioning a mess or trash but it's a construction zone, so expectations are really everything here. When all was said and done, my yard was clean and put back. The office manager, Estrella, is wonderful. She was so responsive and helpful whenever I had questions. They also walked me through financing, which I had never done before, they provided information and helped to point me in the direction of who they've found to be the easiest to work with. Overall, they did an outstanding job and I am so beyond happy with our pool and the job they did, it's perfect!

They do no disclose the terms of warranties. They don't honor their contractual warranties. The pool in question has had multiple problems, including mechanical issues with the $19k cover and electrical problems that required footing the bill for an electrician. All of this is within 18 months of the pool build. There are so many builders to choose from in southern AZ, so I can't recommend this one.

Almost 22 years ago we had our Oro Valley house built by Richmond America and my wife and I contacted Lee at Pioneer Pools on Grant Avenue in Tucson. We contracted Pioneer Pools to do the job. With our backyard the way it was designed they came up with a game plan and designed what would fit. Great Design. We have used them ever since we moved in on Jan.2, 2001. Several years ago we contacted them to clean our tiles around the top of our poor. This was another great job done by Pioneer Pools. Most recently we had our pool tested the water turned dark green and after several tests, we found out the only way we can get it back to normal was to have the pool completely drained. Again, we contacted Pioneer Pools which has moved to its new location. Bill Winters, contacted me and said they would be out but it would be about two weeks. Yes, they kept their promise and two weeks later they showed up and start the process to drain our pool. They hooked up the hoses to the pump and drained the pool overnight and the next day Bill and Tom were back to chlorine wash the walls and base and start filling the pool. The following day they were back to add the chemicals, set the filter, and float. I want to thank Pioneer Pools and Bill and Tom for a fantastic job and is very professional along the way. They showed up on time and did everything in a timely fashion. Everyone we met was friendly and professional through the entire process. We now have a pool that looks brand new and so inviting! The updated pebble surface looks wonderful! It reminds me of a tropical lagoon. The tile we picked is gorgeous. We can't wait for summer to roll around (who says that in Tucson, AZ?!?) OMG, I was in a panic today when I walked out to my back yard and saw water overflowing from our…read morewaterfall feature onto part of our patio and in a good portion of our yard. I called our landscaper and he couldn't help me and left a message for our handyman and he never returned my call. I went on Yelp and found Carl Ragel's Natural Pools & Gardens, went to their website, and saw that they do water feature repairs. I called and spoke to Carl himself, told him what was going on (and was not able to hide my panic), and he rearranged his schedule to come out and fix the problem. Besides educating me on our water feature (we only moved into our house two months ago!) and some of its intricacies, he ended up repairing the auto-flow mechanism, which fixed the problem. There aren't many contractors who would do what Carl did for a FIRST TIME CUSTOMER, but because he did me that favor, I will be a customer for life. Chances are, I will have him come out every quarter to maintain our water feature so this situation doesn't happen again. THANK YOU, CARL!

There's a healthy bird population that depends upon the fountain - not to mention my own enjoyment of the water feature and I needed to get it fixed. Carl contacted me quickly, and got the info he needed to organize the repair. Brad, the service tech, arrived right on time, explained the repair process and got the fountain up and running. I really appreciate this company's great response time, expertise and service. Highly recommend.
