First off shout to Cammie and Jasmine, Cammie our server knew we had a little rush to get somewhere else however did not skip out on everything pony up has to offer. Okay I kinda love this place!! We came here for happy hour and it goes until 7 pm which is so late for a usual happy hour!! They have some seriously amazing cocktails for $7/$8! We got the bees knees and a classic Daiquiri! You can't beat that price in the city! We also tried their French dips because they offer 5 different French dips on the menu! Came here around 10 pm on Thursday because our flight had just gotten in and it was one of the few places around that was still open. It was on my list of places to try and I knew it was going to be great, so I was more than excited to drag my husband here. This late, it was definitely a bar/club vibe but fun - great music, good service, exceptional food. I got the French onion soup which was like a hug to the soul, it was amazing. Just what I needed after walking in the freezing rain. I also got the Saigon French Dip - which was honestly I think the best sandwich I've ever had in my life. Everything about this sandwich was perfection, the pho broth - chef's kiss. I'm so sad I don't live in Denver, and will have to travel back to experience it again. Came here because the reviews on the wings were very good. It is a cool spot near the Rockies stadium. Decor is fun. Playing a lot of 90's pop music. I was seen right away when I sat at the bar. Ordered a beer and wings. They have happy hour every day so draft beer was $5. The wings were very okay. Nothing special. Not bad but not amazing. No fries or anything with them. Really cool spot. We did wait about 5 minutes for bar seating on a Friday night. Service was really quick. We shared the Chicago French dip. So nice that they split it for us and gave us two dips. Pony Up is still one of my favorite places to take friends! I've been there so many times at this point, mostly because the kitchen is open late. I always seem to get lucky with evening street parking in Downtown Denver. Once you arrive, all seating options are great, whether you're with a few people or a large group. Personally I love sitting at the bar. I've never been disappointed by a single cocktail here. Some of the best in Denver. From sweet to spicy, the bartenders nail it every time. Amazing meal! The Frenchie was basically a delicious French dip with French onion soup instead of just au jus. The bread was perfectly slightly crispy outside and slightly chewy inside and the meat was melt in your mouth delicious. The French onions dip was so delicious I could eat a bowl of it. The Cesar salad with house croutons was a great accompaniment. The shorty be doing stuff cocktail made with plenty of love was a great crisp and delicious pairing. Pony Up is definitely the quintessential late night dining option in Denver. I came here twice during my short trip--once for a truly late night post Red Rocks concert bite, and then before that on a Tuesday evening. Sitting at the bar both times, I appreciated the hooks underneath to hang things and service was friendly and timely. The Buffalo wings were decent, with the blue cheese sauce being the star of the show -- the wings themselves were okay on the crispy scale, and not as meaty as I typically like, but decent enough! The French onion was good, but the broth was just a tad too salty for me to call it perfect. Hope they can perfect the broth and tone down the sodium just a bit.. One of the sandwiches I had was decent and the cracked potatoes were absolutely delish. Once again with the sammy, the onion soup for them to be dipped in was just a bit too sodium heavy and made the entire sandwich taste too salty after being dipped, but all minor things--overall, an absolute gem of a late night spot with a great vibe! read more

I don't recommend this business because the bartenders are extremely rude. I purchased souvenirs for my partner and accidentally left them. I went the next day to grab them and the rude bartenders said they threw them in the trash. This occurred on 9/8/25. So whatever bartenders working this night thought throwing a tourist's souvenirs was the nice thing to do. Will never return and regret going due to the horrible service received. It's not worth it. When you're hanging out late in Denver, there aren't a lot of options for food sadly. Pony Up is one of the few places opened past midnight so it can be pretty packed. We ended up sitting at the bar but you can also order food along with your drinks so it's fine. The chicken karaage was delicious. It was flavorful and crunchy. I love that it's boneless so I can stab and eat it with a fork. The potatoes were okay. They're too big to be considered a potato wedge so it's more of a deconstructed potato fries crispy. They weren't my favorite and can be skipped. The French dip was quite good actually. I was surprised. Overall, great late night food in the Denver area if you're hungry. read more

We had stopped in another place to meet some friends, and when walking back were still hungry, so we looked up some places as we were craving fried chicken. Pony Up wasn't just a great meal, it was a whole experience. Maybe it was the alcohol flowing for a few bars beforehand, but we had the best time here. We were starving and missed dinner so there wasn't many options when all of a sudden a bartender tells us about glorious late night French Dips. We b-line for Pony Up and snag a table. The playlist already had us going and then our server comes by and he's probably the coolest guy in Denver. I didn't catch his name but he was a Native American guy with long hair and he was the best. We literally would have ordered anything he told us to based on his passion alone. While we weren't swooning over our server, we put in for the Karaage Chicken and Crispy potatoes to ween off our hunger pangs... and more cocktails of course. Both were excellent starters and great for sharing with a couple friends. I was torn on what sandwich to get because they all looked amazing but the Frenchie just had everything I wanted and nothing more so I went with that on the Gluten Free bread. Surprisingly the GF bread was excellent too. We didn't want the party to stop so we got a round of Get Crazy & Pony Up Shots which consists of a shot of George Dickel Tennessee Whisky and an Aus jus chaser. Now this might sound like a strange combo but it was a glorious way to end the meal. Make sure to let the aus jus cool because it came out boiling hot and we almost sucked it down that way. A godsend late night spot for food and drink with an inspired menu of french dips like the infamous saigon one. French onion soup is decent too. Staff are sweethearts and top notch. I got the classic french dip + french onion soup and the french dip and au jus were good but the bread was toasted and had a very dry crunch that worked really really well at soaking up au jus but was more cracker-like than bread-like at that point and I love me some soft dough so I subjectively don't prefer this style. But I get why they use it, amazing for soaking up that au jus! read more
