Im a regular customer at 5 different locations near the LA area. HUGE FANATIC of this brand, I want them to succeed and open everywhere. I recommend them to all friends and family. And have turned a lot of them into diehard fans as well. I was in the neighborhood for the holidays and it was my first time ordering from Pokitomik Riverside. I ordered my usual, large bowl and paid extra for favorite toppings . Usually ends up costing over $20 and the bowl ends up being jam packed every single time at all 5 locations that I've ever ordered from... except this one. It was jam packed with hot rice and barely any protein or any of anything. Most of my bites were hot rice and hot Cheetos dust. No joke. They were very stingy that day or maybe they're just like this every day. I don't leave reviews like this for brands I love unless I genuinely feel ripped off for my hard earned dollar and today I was. Guy working there looked at me like he knew too... he was like... "ummm here ya go" --your hot rice bowl with maybe a chunk of salmon or two (what I now hear when I recall that not what he actually said). I Was very disappointed and will probably not visit the Riverside location again and stick to my amazing regular Pokitomiks. Shout out Burbank location. read more

Not sure why the ratings are so high. I can describe this place in one word and that is SKIMPY. For $18 I definitely expected a little more. The scoops of protein could fit in a newborn baby's hand. The restaurant was dead inside and looked as if there hadn't been a customer in hours because the trays of fish were full, so you would think they would've given a better portion size of protein. I've ordered lunch from here a couple times and had it delivered via Uber Eats. Their servings are perfectly portioned and fresh. Based on how well they prepared and packed my food, I'd say their service has been great. The poke bowls tastes really good and I'm definitely a fan of their mango yuzu and garlic ponzu sauces. I can't speak for ambiance because I've only had their food delivered to me, but I do intend to go someday when I'm able not at work and in the area. read more

I'm much happier with my experience this time around! It's clear that the restaurant has made some positive changes since my last review a year ago. I decided to give this poke spot another try, and I'm glad I did. The service was friendly, and the space looked clean as soon as I walked in. The fish tasted noticeably fresher, though the salmon could still use a bit more freshness. :) Everything else was fantastic. The "old guacamole" has been replaced with FRESH avocado, which is a nice upgrade. The rice still has a slight vinegar tang, but it's moist without being mushy and doesn't taste stale. Stopped by this lovely spot on the way home from work. I was blown away by the quality of the bowl! You can tell the fish is super fresh and all the other ingredients were clean and delicious. They had items I haven't seen at other poki spots too like spicy imitation crab and a sweet glaze salmon. They had a wide variety of sauces too which was a big plus. I want to start this review off with saying the customer service is great. The taste was good. For being a first time customer, I'm happy to say I tried it out. But it's not the pokè establishment I will choose in the future. These are my reasonings. If it's one thing I'll spend money on is FOOD. But not just food, QUALITY food. The amount of MONEY the food is priced at, the food has to be worth it. Sorry to say what I paid for, was not worth the $17 for 4 scoops. Most pokè establishments have unlimited toppings, portions of the protein scoops are bigger. Maybe it's because they use meal prep containers?maybe that's why the portions are small? I got half rice, half salad. The amount of salad I got was 3 bites. Overall my meal prep container wasn't full. My pictures are deceiving, due to the salad mix being fluffy. The pictures the owner posted to advertise the portions of the bowls on Yelp is Deceiving. The pictures Does not match what I received. I even went at 9:30pm, and most of the toppings were put away already. I had to real toppings, due to it being my first time. It's nothing personal. For most pokè establiments you receive large quantities, and your appetite is satisfied. For the price I paid it wasn't worth it, and I was still hungry. read more

This was probably one of the more eclectic dining experiences I've had with a "burrito," but I'm pleasantly surprised! A nori wrap with hot cheetos on the outside - even that as an option doesn't sound like it would work, but it does! I'd say at worst, this is probably an unwieldly burrito just because of its constitution, but it's worthy concession. I was very taken aback by the quality of the ingredients and how fresh every component was, down to the spicy tuna, shrimp, and brown rice in mine. Their Taro Tea drink was fine, nothing extraordinary - I wouldn't put it up there as one of the more fulfilling experiences as their burrito was, but it's a valiant attempt. Next time, I'm gonna try another flavor and see if I have better luck. I'll definitely be back, I'm curious to try more on this menu! I'm absolutely a fan now. read more

I was excited to try the new poke place near UCR but I thought the food itself was okay. They're known for their burritos since it is a fusion place so we tried the hot cheeto burrito with our own choice of meat and toppings. I wouldn't recommend getting too many sauces since ours turned out mushy and eat it as quickly as possible! The best part was probably the wonton nachos since they are freshly made and you can order a poke dip to eat with it. The tacos aren't really worth it but they use the same wonton chip for nachos which was nice. Great aesthetic shop, but I wasn't a big fan of the fusion. read more

Came back and I was so disappointed :( This place had a lot of potential when it first opened! Obviously it wasn't perfect but I feel like the quality has gone down. The fish was all pretty chewy (I got salmon, sweet salmon, and albacore) and hard to swallow. The hot Cheetos tasted stale. The crab salad had a super overpowering mayo taste to it. Came in on Monday at 11:40 because pokr bistro was closed. It tasted so off even with how hungry I was. The tuna texture seemed spongey, and the whole plate just seemed extra fishy. I don't know if it was old or not saved properly but oh well I let it pass as a disappointing lunch. 24 hours later I started having cramps and feeling clammy, I left work early and went home feeling feverish. The service was absolutely terrible. I ordered my food at 5:06 online to avoid waiting in line. I was told the food would be ready for pick up between 5:11 and 5:22. I walked in at 5:29 expecting it to be ready and wasn't even acknowledged by the workers. I ignored this because they looked busy, so I stood in the pick up area.
