When we arrived, it was packed and we were told there would be about a 20 minute wait after signing in, which we were fine with. Surprisingly, we were seated within about 5 minutes. We used to enjoy the food, but previous visits were plagued by incorrect orders because staff repeatedly chose not to write anything down. Today, my husband found a hair fried into the batter of his popcorn lobster roll. It was wrapped around the piece of "lobster," making it clear the hair was there during preparation--not something that fell onto the food afterward. It also raises concerns about basic food safety practices, including whether proper hair restraints were being used by whoever prepared the meal. He quietly brought it to the staff's attention, and they simply took the plate away. No apology. No follow-up. To make matters worse, we were still charged for the contaminated roll. We mentioned it again when paying and, again, received no apology and no offer to remove the charge. Mistakes can happen. What shouldn't happen is dismissing a legitimate food safety concern and charging customers for contaminated food without so much as an apology.

The crazy thing is that is also a Mexican restaurant because I saw in the menu a bunch of Mexican dishes. This place is a 10/10.
