This was a good Poke place! It's a small spot in a plaza, the workers were very friendly and not that stingy on portions. They didn't seem to have a problem adding a bit more for toppings when asked. I ordered a medium bowl ($8.99) which included three scoops of fish. I choose tuna, salmon and yellowtail. I opted for the Wasabi Aioli sauce and I liked the flavor! They also included seaweed and avocado as toppings free of charge so that was nice! The portions were relatively nice and the bowl was enough to fill me up. My friends and I stopped by here the other night to satisfy our poke cravings. As with most poke places, you order at the counter and find your own seat. There isn't much service aside from when you are ordering at the counter. That being said, their service at the counter was great. It was my first time here and they were patient and helpful when I was unsure about what to choose. Now on to the food. You can choose from three bowl sizes. The bowl size determines how many scoops of fish you can get. I chose a small bowl, which warranted two scoops (it's 3 scoops for a medium). I went with tuna and salmon, my usual. Their dynamite sauce is supposedly bomb so I decided to give it a try. They don't charge extra for more sides so my friend recommended me to get ALL the sides haha. I was just happy to get avocado without having to pay extra for it! Overall the fish tasted pretty fresh and the dynamite sauce is worth getting. It adds a slight kick and is not really spicy at all. I do wish they had put in more sauce though because it tasted a bit bland at times. The bowl itself is a bit on the small side too so it took more effort trying to mix everything together. They just scoop everything into the bowl but do not mix them together like Pokinometry. Not a deal breaker but just something different. I do have to agree with the other reviewers in that their scoop size is on the smaller side. Perhaps I should've gone with a larger size? Pricing is ok, $6.99 for a small and $8.99 for a medium. I was hesitated about the previous "portion size" review, because this is the only poke place that they give you good portions of fish. Today I went there and it was a new but unhappy guy. I ordered medium salad only and no oil on my fish. He added oil, and gave me very tiny scoops of fish. Almost like a small bowl (see last pic. Previous pics are before their portion for same medium ) $12 bucks for that...couple bites of fish. Lol i asked him if he could give me more, he was like: I am only allowed to give you 5...6... pieces.... Then other guy came and apologize for him (yes, he didn't say anything and started to take other's order while didn't finish my order), which was nice, because he was old staff. My. Bowl. Was. DELICIOUS. The light flavors of the citrus sauce and sesame oil worked perfectly with the chopped pieces of shrimp. It wasn't too much or too little so the sauce ratio was impeccably well poured. The shrimp tasted fresh and also wasn't overcooked so it wasn't chewy rather it had that refreshing crunch to it. The shrimp pieces worked well with everything else that I added inside, but the best part was that the portion of the protein choice and everything else (add-ons) was so great that we actually left full rather than hungry still. My boyfriend also loved that the fish pieces at Poke Bar was full-sized cubes and not dainty tiny ones we've had at other poke places before.
