Came by because I was craving for poke bowl. They are located in the same plaza of Vons. This place is very clean, and it has a few table inside of the store. I ordered a small bowl with vegetable base with a scoop of salmon and scallop. The portion was huge. I requested to add eel sauce in the bowl. They have a variety of toppings to add on. Price was reasonable. I was unable to finish the bowl. Parking was very easy in this location. I will come by again for more poke bowl.

Great spot to satisfy your poke cravings! It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking. I ordered a medium bowl which comes with three proteins, and it did not disappoint. The fish was fresh and I appreciated that avocado was included at no extra charge. Definitely a good spot to check out if you're in the mood for poke!

Food 5/5 So glad I tried this spot! The poke was amazing, and they offer a variety of sauces. I ordered the salmon and tuna, mixed with spicy mayo, and it was delicious. They also have a great selection of toppings, and I especially loved that avocado is included--usually it's an extra charge elsewhere. The portions were extremely generous, too. With a variety of seafood available throughout the Southern California area, there is no shortage of cultures that know how to make this food in their own special ways. And with this, poke has been an up and coming dish. I personally have had limited exposure to this poke frenzy on the mainland. But when I saw Bay Poke running a large bowl BOGO special for $19.95 on UberEats, I figured it might be worth the time to grab a bowl and see how the food compares to that of Hawaii. With a customizable system for ordering, each person can make a bowl to their own custom taste and liking. And for this experience, I decided on a white rice base; salmon, spicy salmon, boiled Japanese scallop, and calamari salad for proteins; cucumbers, seaweed salad, imitation crab meat, Hawaiian sweet potato, edamame, sweet corn, pineapple, kimchi, masago eggs, and mandarin oranges for sides; and spicy ponzu sauce, lemon garlic sauce, sesame oil, spicy mayo, crispy onion, seasame seeds, and furikake for garnishes. I initially thought that the portion size would be small, especially with all of the items I was adding to the customizable order. But to my surprise, the amount of food given exceeded my expectations. Each piece of protein was large and thick in pieces which was very pleasant. The sides were also given generously which helped to make for a fulfilling meal. Twenty dollars may seem to be more expensive than a typical meal in the entire Greater LA area. But because this dish contains loads of fresh seafood, it was more than fair. Of the many things I ordered in the dish, everything just seemed to pile on which left no cohesiveness to be had (my fault). But nonetheless, each ingredient tasted as fresh as they could be. I personally enjoyed the salmon and scallop as the salmon had a good ratio of fatty to lean pieces while the scallop was large and included the other parts of the meat besides the medallion. The addition of the masago eggs and imitation crab meat was a nice touch, especially since they were lightly sweet, savory, and did not cost extra to add. For the sauces, the ponzu sauce gave both a sweet and spicy kick to the bowl which really helped combine the different flavors and textures. And for last, I enjoyed consuming the sesame oil as it made all of the ingredients taste more defined than they would have otherwise. It may seem to be a steep price for a meal at first. And without the special buy one get one offer, it could be harder to justify the meal at the regular $20 price tag. But if you can move past this, the proteins are wholeheartedly delicious, the sides are offered in plenty and given generously, and the sauces complement the ingredients well. With that all said, I would give Bay Poke a solid 4 star rating. Definitely give them a go if you're in the Pasadena area, it's definitely worth a try!

Great poke bowl, great service!! Poke bowl used to be very popular. But it seems like it's a little hard to find a good one recently. In searching for a high rating poke I came across Bay Poke. And it was great! Easy menu, Small Medium Large with 2/3/4 scoops of protein. But trust me, they use the same bowl and with all the extra, it will all end up equally BIG!! Nice protein options. Apart from the typical salmon, tuna, shrimp. They got the Japanese scallop (NOT bay scallop but the Japanese one). We tried the spicy salmon, soy sauce tuna, scallop, calamari salad. All excellent. As for the side, so many different options and they are so generous. Basically they will add whatever you want in a decent portion. So if you like me, want to try a little of everything, you will end up having a huge bowl! Price is very reasonable. Ingredients are all fresh. The two servers that were helping us are all kind and nice and helpful. A wonderful poke place in town.

I've followed bay poke to various locations, Irvine, Anaheim, and now Pasadena. I love their poke, I haven't tried many places since this one has everything I like. I get a medium bowl with white rice, imitation crab, shrimp with spicy mayo, house sauce, and sesame oil, with cucumber. Add avocado, top off with crunchy onion and garlic and spicy mayo drizzle. They never disappoint. Parking has not been bad the times I've gone, it is located in a shopping center with many stores. The shop itself is pretty small, they have some tables inside. Service was good as well, went around 6 and it wasn't packed.

I don't recommend this place. I came in to get a medium poke bowl and Snapple tea. Initially, service was ok. The server appeared to be bothered to have to serve me and gave me attitude. I was eating and after a few bites, I found this worm on the salmon. I politely went back and asked for a refund and they asked me why. I told them I found a worm on the salmon and they tried looking for it themselves. Another server (who was very nice) came out and took over, she also had the audacity to ask for the Snapple tea back. I told her I was keeping the tea because I had already opened it. They refunded the Poke bowl but all had attitude about it. I do not recommend this place.

The service is so nice. The setting is decent nothing to crazy. And the food looks fresh! I ordered a medium bowl and it was filled to the top. Yummy! Also ordered a Thai tea oat-milk with brown sugars and ulala they made it with love.

Was in the area and couldn't figure out what to have for lunch. Have always passed by this location, so decided to give it a try. It's a small shop in a very busy shopping center that is anchored by a Vons market. I can see how the parking lot could get very busy during peak times. Got into the store and was greeted by some very nice staff. I noticed it was "cafeteria-style" poke, so you get to choose your base and toppings. I must say that they have a lot of offerings, so depending on what size you choose, it could be an overwhelming process. Felt a bit rushed by the staff to make my choices...so it might help to choose beforehand (but part of the fun is seeing what they have available). My items were nicely packed into a medium-sized container and filled to the brim. Very tasty and fresh meal (maybe snack to some) and I hope to visit again. Price point is what one would expect for poke...but it's the items that they offer which make it stand out from the rest.

Poke, poke...I can't seem to get enough. Lately, I've been craving it and decided to try someplace new. I ordered a bowl and miso soup from here via Grub Hub. The miso was weird. More like broth than miso and had strange things in it. I took one sip and decided to skip it. The poke and the rice were in separate containers, which was fine because I wasn't tempted to finish the rice. They give you the option of white or brown or you can choose a base of spring mix instead. Ordering online was easy. Just check a box to select your protein, sauces, sides, toppings, mix ins, & drizzles. The Poke was ok. The ingredients were fresh. However, I like my usual place better. If I do order from here again, I'll pass on the miso.

The food was good and they have many drinks to choose from. The one star deducted was because i bought 2 mediums but on one of my bowl, they gave me a large sized cap. It spilt while i was driving and I'll have to clean my mats now :( Hopefully the employees could be more careful in the future. read more

The inside of the restaurant is clean. As you walk up to the counter, you are greeted and help right away. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. As with any Poke bar, you get to choose what you want, but remember, you could just also ask them to make what they like. Usually people who work here will eat here, and they know how to make delicious combinations. You could ask them to walk you through what they like so that you could omit things you don't like too. Try it, worth it, no regrets. One of the best poke bar restaurants! read more

Tried this for the first time today after I ran out of time to grab food at the Huntington Library before it closed. I was very pleasantly surprised by the big portion. I got a small but they pack it full for you and you can get whatever protein and topping you want. I appreciate that the workers were all nice and do not give customers a hard time. read more

I ordered to go through yelp. I got their large bowl with 4 scoops of protein. 3 spicy tuna 1 cooked shrimp. I got cilantro cucumbers and some sesame seeds. They have a large selection of things to add but I like it simple. Their spicy Ponzu sauce was delicious. The restaurant is very busy I am glad I ordered ahead of time. I usually love this spot and always order the large poke bowl. Today when I received my order I noticed the spring mix was soggy, tossed that out and ginger and kimchi had a rotten slimy taste to it. It was a buy 1 get one and had to toss them both out. Wasted 30$ on rotten food read more

Bay Poke is a local favorite. It's one of my personal favorites spots in the sgv. Portions are huge. Honestly, any of the proteins and all the toppings works well with each other. I recommend adding mandarins into your bowl. Just trust the process. It definitely helps with some sweetness and juiciness into your bowl. I usually get savory tuna, spicy tuna, and salmon. I add almost all the toppings they have without any extra charged toppings. My mix in sauces are ponzu and spicy mayo. I typically go to this location over the sg location. read more

This place is slowly becoming our go to poke spot. The fish taste great and they add a lot of toppings to the bowl. I also believe that they do not charge for avocado which makes you feel like you're ballin on a budget. The service is good. They help you with everything you need. The vibe is what you would expect. This was a "no" for me. For $16 for a small bowl, I expected the meal to be, well, just tastier! I did the half and half with the rice and salad. Salad tastes moldy so I threw most of it away. Rice was all mushy and stuck together, very bland and yucky. I ended up eating most of just the toppings. I initially wanted scallops, but they only had cooked scallops, which looked like they would give me a tummy ache, so I stayed away from that. The two scoops of salmon was alright. I rarely come to Pasadena anymore but had to take my car in for service and stopped here for lunch. This poke bowl was really good! I haven't had one in a while and forgot how good it is, but at least this place checks all the boxes -- fresh ingredients, unlimited toppings, plenty of sauces, list goes on... Definitely healthier than a lot of what's around here. After eating the medium bowl, I was full, so even though it's pricey, the portions are generous. Overall, the food was excellent and the service was fast. I would certainly return for more. read more

The poke bowl was exactly what I needed/craving. Come here if you want a solid poke bowl. I don't remember exactly what I got but it was all so good, and the portion was filling for the price it was at (~$16 for the smallest bowl). Service was swift yet patient with me as I read through the many options on the menu. I ate at the restaurant and there was some seating, but it's designed more like a takeout spot. There's plenty of parking in the lot in the plaza for easy takeout. read more

We drove out 30 mihere to support the business. The food was great; the experience while getting serviced the food was not unfortunately. The three young ladies working around 3:30pm on July 1st 2025 were not very welcoming. Our order was rushed and while there was no line. Before we finished paying, I said "thank you" and the young ladies did not reply back. I know it's something small, but it just did not feel welcoming enough to come back. :( read more

All but soft serve were overflowing and dripping out of their cups/glasses as soon as we touched them. Despite the lattes chocolate syrups, milk and whipped cream - they somehow managed to be watery and lack taste. As for the hojicha parfait, the design of the glass was not user friendly. They are tall and narrow. Because everything was packed too tightly, it was impossible to get a spoon into the glass without things coming out of it. It was a chore and unpleasurable. I understand that using cereal is a thing for these desserts. IMO this is a very cheap and low end ingredient for something with a perceived elevated experience as Nana's tries to present. I don't believe Nana's in Hawaii had glasses, just plastic cups, so having cereal in my dessert that came in a plastic cup really didn't phase me, but with all that cereal pouring out of the glass cup as I tried to get the contents inside that tiny glass was a really frustrating experience. It just didn't add-up. It made no sense what was happening. The parfait had one small scoop of hojicha and the majority of the glass was full of plain soft serve. As I said, in So Cal we have so, so many choices. What is the point of coming to this place for vanilla soft serve? We will not be back - very disappointing. My wife and I grew up in the area, so I understand that the buildings are old, but Nana's was a new build at the time of this writing, and it looked like it had been there for a decade. I understand that there are things that can't be done about the building, but I did expect more from the interior. As the sun was blasting in my kid's faces, I noticed there were no shades. I also noticed they didn't clean their windows! Because of the sun blaring in their eyes, I then noticed the lack of finish in the window sills... I heard this was a flagship store, but sorta seems like a neglected franchise.

Wow! Kudos to Bay Poke! I'm so happy to see Bay Poke finally opened for business. I've been waiting so long. I went there with my friends today, and it was their first day of business. The place was super clean, and the staffs were very friendly. More importantly, the poke bowl was superb. I had a regular bowl with ahi tuna, salmon, and albacore for my choices of proteins. The fish was very fresh. I added house sauce and spicy mayo, as recommended. They have so many toppings, but I decided to go simple today. I'll be alternating my choices each time I come. The staffs seemed a little under-trained, but it's totally acceptable for soft opening. The quality of the bowl makes up whatever may be lacking. Food is tasty and they have a good selection of proteins and a good amount of choices for your sides to make the poke bowl. AND - the price is very, very reasonable for the freshness and quality or their fish. So glad to have a really good poke place nearby to where I work, it makes for a satisfying and healthy lunch. The portions are not generous but the quality is very good and the taste is fresh and this I value more than a distasteful pile. I've tried all their different sauces and have even mixed some of them to make my own concoction. I recommend this place for sure. read more

The environment is clean, friendly staffs. Best of all, the foods(fish) is fresh and price is about right. It's not super cheap but at least I can afford to eat as daily. Parking is sharing with other stores in the plaza. So be aware timing if you are just having a little lunch break. read more

This review is on our 3rd try. It was fantastic every time. The packaging for to go bowls is excellent. Food is fresh and yummy. Toping selection is varied enough that I've not had the same bowl twice. I would for sure recommend this place and I cant wait to order again. read more

I've been here three or four times now. The staff is always nice, the food tastes fresh, and if you get there closer to 11:30 as opposed to 12, there's usually no line making it a fast process. I would recommend this restaurant. read more

Must try. It's my daughter's favorite place. She is only 6 and sings about coming to bay poke all the time. Very friendly staff. Healthy, filling, fast and tasty. Got to try their mochi ice cream. read more
