Earlier afternoon, I ordered the small poke bowl. The base is brown rice. The protein was albacore and spicy tuna. Toppings I chose were white onion, edamame, pineapple, and sesame seed. The sauce I chose was ponzu sauce. I like the spice level of the spicy tuna. One side of the albacore was grilled which was surprising. It was $15.45 for the small bowl. The price seems reasonable. One employee asked if I'd like crab and seaweed salad. I said yeah. Crab is probably imitation crab. I like that the crab and seaweed salad are free. I don't think other poke bowl restaurants serve them for free. I like how the sauces and toppings are labeled on the display cases or glass. I didn't see the trash can so I asked an employee where I was supposed to place the tray and bowl. He said he could take it. Employees were kind. One employee said I'd be paying with cash since I had a $20 bill out. There are at least 4 tables inside. Music played through the speakers. Chairs were stools. A small plant was placed on each table. They seemed real. One table had 2 chairs on each side. Tables were grouped together. There are tables outside. Natural light filtered through the floor to ceiling windows. I could feel the AC inside. read more

We are big fans of poke, so we popped in for an easy, casual dinner before a movie. Ordering takes place at the counter, similar to the setup of Chipotle, Cava, and similar fast casual restaurants. You start with your choice of rice or greens, and you make your way down the counter to select your protein, followed by a variety of veggies and toppings and sauces. The staff was very friendly, and they had clearly tried everything on the menu and all of the sauce options. I appreciated their descriptions of the flavor combinations (although the description of the spice level was not terribly accurate -- our definitions of spicy are not the same, but I tend to have a higher spice tolerance than most, so I do not fault them for this). I especially appreciated their recommendations for sauce pairings, since the names of the sauces were not exactly descriptive. The bowls are a little pricey for what you get portion wise, but it was not patently unreasonable. There are a handful of tables and chairs, so patrons can enjoy their meal on site, but it does appear to be more of a takeout solution for most guests. All About Poke is located in an outdoor strip mall that shares a large parking lot with a movie theater. There is always ample parking. read more

I was surprised at how big the 'small' size is, it was plenty of food to fill me up before heading next door to the movies :) I like how they label everything in the bar, kind of like an ice cream shop, so you can knowingly select all the ingredients you want. There is also a description of all the sauce options right at the counter. The staff was patient but not particularly friendly. Even though there were no other customers when we came in, the 2 staff just looked at us until we were ready to start ordering. "Disgruntle employee customer pays the price" A simple confusion on what on not to put the fried onions on our 2 out our of or 4 bowls, caused an employee to flip, curse and threaten to charge me more just for wanting the fried onions on the side. While all this is going on, my 7 year old son stood at my side in a panic. Paid for the bowls went on my way. No other employee's stepped up to help the situation as they all stood in aw also. Customer service has gone down to the point you cant say anything anymore because when you do you are wrong. I got banned for saying this to the manager today after she gave me my money back. Holy Poke! I love a fresh poke spot with fresh fish and this was it. Indoor and outdor seating! Service was fast! I appreciated that the workers knew their ingredients and what was and wasn't gluten free. I built my own bowl with Salmon...spicy tuna and ahi tuna and it was all so fresh. Visited All About Poki in Montrose. There was plenty of parking and a good amount of seating both inside and outside. Music was playing, and the store was clean and well-kept. I got a medium-sized bowl with rice--salmon and tuna were fresh as always, and the crab and seaweed were a great touch. It filled me up just right. No complaints about the food. I asked for two scoops of salmon and asked if it's possible to get half a scoop of spicy tuna, willing to pay for the full scoop of spicy tuna. The guy said no. So I was fine with a full scoop but only got two scoops of salmon. That's fine it's whatever, but then I found a hair in my food. It was blonde and I don't have blonde hair. So I don't know but this place needs to check their hygiene or whatnot cuz I'm not picky with like other contaminations of other food, but someone else's hair is just disgusting. I usually would go for the spicy tuna and salmon. If you like spicy, I dare you to try the fire ponzu sauce and the spicy mayo. These sauces combination is my go to sauce whenever I came here. Today we placed our order on one of the many apps for pickup. Me being me, 'course I had added notes to pack sauces on the side -- if I'm eating there or taking to a nearby park to picnic, I'll have the sauce mixed in but I don't like to have the poke marinade in the sauce for takeout. Also, I had noted that we have Yelp checkin for the goodie freebie. And kept fingers crossed that whoever works on our order, pays attention.
