They have appetizers, salads, Lunch specials 11:30am-3pm , kitchen , sushi/sashimi , carpaccio, noodles, sakes, wines, beers, sodas. They also have Salamat specials: hand rolls, wagyu, abalone. Julie Ham was our waitress, she asked us if we had any questions and we did. She answered them all beautifully! We ordered : 1 hand roll sampler, 1 salmon roll, 1 bulgogi which included : spicy tuna, white rice and salad! Our delicious meal both came with a delicious miso soup too! All mouthwatering deliciousness! Julie always made sure our cups were full or if we needed anything she was on it! Their price points are spot on! We had a lovely time here! I got the Garlic Albacore roll ($20), which was a unique, exceptional dish - delicate albacore on top of spicy tuna, a sour lemon (ponzu) sauce with rich garlic, and crispy onion and garlic on top. Somehow, this roll captured all the flavors - savory, sour, crispy, and sweetness all in one go. Unique and exceptional. The rest of my family got the Tonkotsu Ramen, Salmon Bento Box, and Alaskan rolls, all which were excellent. A special word must be made for the staff. We were seated promptly, our kids' orders taken first so they could start eating earlier, we were promptly offered a free switch to a different bowl of Ramen when, on delivery, we were informed it may be somewhat spicy (which we didn't employ - it was perfect!), and all food came out within 10-15 minutes. The inside is unassuming and spartan, as is common for sushi joints, and prices are quite reasonable. Bonus points for being right next to Handel's ice cream (another 5* review in my catalog) for a perfect, easy dessert and great outdoor vibes. While sushi tends to be fairly uniform across restaurants, Haruka deserves special celebration for several unique, impeccable rolls and exceptional service. We both loved to support local businesses in our old neighborhood, so we were excited to see what the new restaurant did to the place. Was it a blissful evening filled with sake, sushi, and stories, or was this place a bit far off from what we happily remembered it to be!? PURCHASE(S) Sapporo Breweries Sapporo Premium Beer 4.9% ABV 22floz Bottle ($9.00 x2): Rich amber color, malty sweet aroma, low body, light malty sweet flavor, clean smooth finish, and light malty sweet aftertaste. Always a favor with sushi! Deep Fried Shishito Peppers ($9.50): Butter sautéed shishito peppers with ponzu sauce, these slightly spicy tasty treats were fun to nibble on between sushi rolls!
