First time at this Glendale location. Two places in one location. One side poke and one side sandwiches. The poke was ok. The salmon had a pale beige mixed orange color. Can't describe it. Didn't get any. Since I was there with my son I didn't want to leave so I got the tuna which was ok in color. The taste was average. My son didn't even finish his bowl which was a first for him lol. Anyways maybe it was a bad day for fish that day. Customer service was unfriendly, so overall a three star experience.

For context, I love poke and shopping, so this place felt like a perfect fit in the Glendale area. I ordered a custom poke bowl, but I wasn't very impressed with the flavor of the fish, as it didn't taste as fresh as I was expecting. After a few bites, the bowl overall felt a bit bland, so I would recommend asking for extra sauce on the side. While I'm giving the food a lower rating, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, which definitely improved my overall impression of the place. The location is very convenient, with the mall and the Americana across the street and plenty of spots to walk around and explore. Parking is also easy, with multiple parking garages available nearby.

Super friendly service on Tuesday night! Jacob was so great and made my one taco order so yummy and worth it. Would definitely come back here for the service alone. This spot is located at the marketplace and also has an Italian sandwich spot right next to it. Ambiance is chill and there's a decent amount of seats for dine in. I recommend coming here for the good food and good service!

The freshest poke place in Glendale -- everything is always clean, well kept, and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the quality in every bowl. The owner, Sarkis, is incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better.

We had an amazing experience at PokiTomik. Andre was so knowledgeable about all of the different combinations of sushi. I had the red hot Cheeto burrito which is so unique and delicious. It was such incredible service and was so good that I came back the next night with my oldest son who devoured his burrito he got with cheese Cheetos on the outside. We will definitely be back. This is our new favorite restaurant..

You can make your own vegan poke bowl with tofu protein here. Garlic sauce was good with that. Highly recommend

My daughter introduced me to this place since she loves poke. Good thing, I gave it a try. I really liked the salmon and the other garnishings that we chose to top it off with. Quiet place just beneath LA Fitness in Glendale. Gabby, the one who helped us was friendly and warm. We will definitely come back!

Phenomenal. For $20 (including a tip) I had an amazing lunch, extremely generous portion, fresh & tasty. The wasabi cream & habanero dressing were out of this world! Amazing flavors, fresh fish, melts in your mouth.

We tried the following: Bing Bun Basket with 3 sets of spreads (ricotta, jam & chili, honey butter, citron cream cheese & sesame): The bing bread was soft and warm, kinda like an airy pancake bread. The spreads were delicious. It was so good, we'd definitely get it again. Chicken Wings with sweet & spicy and honey garlic sauce: These crunchy fried drumettes were okay but not standout or worth the price. Steak Ssäm: We enjoyed the unique combination of flavors here with steak, shiso, pickled daikon, jalapeño, lettuce and rice. Choco Pot De Creme: a nice, rich chocolate pudding with whipped cream and crunchy flakes. Yuzu Medicina and Ichigo-Rita: decently strong fruity cocktails which we both enjoyed. Parking: There was an unstaffed, paid parking lot across the street.

I needed to use the restroom really bad cause we drove down from Fontana, over an hour away. I was really confused as to why the yelp hours differed from the Open Table hours. Turns out the Yelp hours are more accurate. They did open a little after 11, but if you plan on driving down, it's best to book at 11:30 rather than at 11. Anyway, the place seemed clean and fresh. We ordered the bing bun basket and the steak and egg crispy rice. Both dishes were delicious. My favorite out of the 3 flavored spread was the black sugar and hazelnut spread. The rice was perfectly crispy yet buttery and soft inside. It was paired very well with the steak, eggs, and radish that they mix right in front of you at your seat. Besides the strange hours, I enjoyed everything overall.

Having looked at photos of the restaurant, I was pleased to see that they have a parking lot, only to find out that it is being used for outdoor seating. A trip around the block and I found street parking. Upon entering, I was awestruck by the decor! Lots of bright colors and unique chairs with a nice vibe. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table. Our server was great at guiding us through the menu and helping us decide our order. We went for the Causa, Mala Har Gow, Dan Dan Mian, Spiced Okra and their Brûlée Char Siu, along with a couple of cocktails. The cocktails took a while to arrive, but they were delicious. We had the Drunken Yuzu and the Gimme Gimme Gimme. The Drunken Yuzu was made with gin and yuzu giving boozy, tart martini vibes. The Gimme Gimme Gimme was made with Strawberry Tarragon infused gin with a touch of rhubarb and lime. It's hard to describe it but it was our favorite by far! While waiting for the drinks, our Causa arrived. It was beautifully plated and consisted of layers of seasoned mashed potatoes, avocado and bluefin tuna with some aji oil and egg. It was quite tasty. A short while later, the remaining items were served. First was the Dan Dan noodles. Our server claimed this is their most popular dish and it did not disappoint, though the thin noodles were difficult to eat because the peanut sauce thickened as it cooled. I've had these noodles at other places, and while they were good, they were not outstanding. I think I prefer the Dan Dan from Joy....at least they are easier to eat. Next up was the Har Gow, which surprised me when I saw the black wrapper on the dumplings. That's a first. The filling was delicious though the dumpling wrapper was rather bland. I probably wouldn't have noticed except the wrapper would pull itself away from the the filling, forcing you to eat it by itself. Last up was the Char Siu and the Spiced Okra. I was excited about the Char Siu as it is one of my favorite things to eat. And to have it brûléed on top was the icing on the cake. The meat itself was very tender but was lacking that Char Siu taste of 5 spice. The brûlée on top added a nice sweetness but it still didn't quite measure up to my standards, with Chin Chin being my favorite place to order it. But that okra!!!! It was THE BOMB!!! We are both okra fans, especially me having grown up in the south where fried okra is a staple. Their version was sliced and wok fried with a delicious seasoning that included Szechuan pepper as well as pieces of red onion. For those that don't like slimy okra, you needn't worry. The wok frying eliminated that and resulted in these nice, slightly chewy pieces of okra that I am still thinking about today. I could eat an entire order of that by myself. Overall, the meal was pretty good but not the flavor explosion I was expecting. I'll definitely return but I'll focus on some other menu items that caught my eye rather than what the server suggests.

So off we went, trying to get there on the early side, as it's small (25 seats) and we'd heard it can fill up quickly. We arrived somewhere around 5:45 and were one of only two tables, but maybe a half-hour later it was completely full. The staff is super friendly, the ambiance is cozy and clean, and I like that the spice levels can be adjusted. We opted for the cucumber salad, dan dan noodles, dumplings in chili oil and the mapo tofu (which my friend wanted to try, since he hadn't yet). Food came out quickly, and while I realize that's not uncommon, I wouldn't have minded just a little more spacing. Still, it wasn't so quick to be a problem. My favorite items were the dan dan noodles, which were addictively delicious, and the dumplings in chili oil, which are longer and flatter than some and more flavorful than most. The cucumber salad was also excellent and a nice palate cleanser between other items. I was probably a little less enamored of the mapo tofu. It was good but not quite at the level of the other dishes for me. I still remember the mapo tofu served at the late, great Ricebox in DTLA, and theirs had much more flavor punch. But all in all, Mala Class was excellent, and I'd be happy to return to try more of the menu (and maybe repeat a few faves!).

Parking was pretty chill at that time (snagged a street parking spot in front) and there was no wait. The dan dan noodles had a nice chew to them and the flavoring had the perfect hint of spice against the peanut sauce. The wings were a little too overseasoned -- we had to shake off all of the peppercorn on the top and it was still pretty salty and peppery (but not THAT spicy). They were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, though. The dumplings and chili oil were probably my favorite bite. They're like wontons except they didn't do the last fold, and the sauce they are in is very well-balanced with a strong hit of acid against sweetness. The mapo tofu needed some sugar to bring out the flavor of all of the spices because otherwise it felt like there was no real flavor, where there were a million spices working against each other. I would definitely pass on this one but everything else was pretty good. The interior is very classically Highland Park-esque and our server was super nice! I would come back to try other dishes.
