Very good Thai food here. The owner is nice and kind. The restaurant is inside a club, do not hesitate to enter, the restaurant is open to public. It has a very interesting vibe, I would recommend to try it.

4.9 stars! Wow really? This place popped up on Yelp as a 4.9 star Thai restaurant in the area and it piqued my interest. I decided to go the DoorDash way since it was raining and I didn't feel like taking a drive. This place seems like a primarily takeout place. My order took more than 45 minutes to be prepared and my Dasher was kept waiting for more than 15 minutes; he wasn't happy and kept text me to complain. My food was finally delivered more than an hour later. The food turned out to be disappointing. The spicy basil with beef was mainly onions and bell peppers with a few slices of beef. The Pad Z Ew (pad see ew) was not good at all. The vegetables were over cooked and mushy and the rice noodles was of poor quality; they were very thin and broke into little pieces. The corn curry in coconut was ok but nothing extraordinary.

Didn't know if I was entering a waiting area or a restaurant. Correct in both Ahhah. Just like you read the the restaurant shares the same space as an AA space which was a little bit weird, but you get use to it. The restaurant is being handled by this sweet old lady who serves your food and busses the table too. SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS like this! The food was amazing! I ended up getting the garlic chicken lunch special with that Thai ice tea! It was very flavorful and the price was on point. I didn't have any complaints. I would highly recommend!

This Thai spot is phenomenal. The owner cooks food that is authentic, plated beautifully, and unapologetically flavorful. Each bite is a time travel bomb that takes me back to the time I was gorging myself at street food vendor stalls in Bangkok. The location is within an office space area used for AA and community meetings. It comes across humble and the dining area is separate from the actual community building space. The tables are clean and extremely well kept. The owner clearly pays attention to detail when it comes to maintaining her dining area and silverware/cutlery. The owner herself is very accommodating and welcoming. She takes the time to answer questions about the menu and offers adjustments to spice levels if needed. She also cooks and serves all the food herself with the help of one other individual in the back kitchen, so patience is key but completely worth the time investment. The food was so outrageously delicious I didn't have time to take more pics the first time I went. It was so good in fact, I came back immediately the next day to try the crab fried rice pictured below. The serving sizes are generous and the spice and flavor is second to none. I'm so impressed with how high quality all the dishes are and everything tastes so impeccably fresh. Crab fried rice - the crab meat is legitimately fresh and generously portioned. The rice is well seasoned and the veggies mixed in with the egg are a perfect compliment to the crab. I really enjoyed this dish and it comes with a side of spicy seasoning sauce you can add to kick up the heat a notch. Crying Tiger - not pictured below, but man what a stand out dish. The flavor of the rib eye pieces are so well balanced and the dipping sauce for the meat is so distinct it really adds depth to the rice and salad accompaniments. I really enjoyed the dressing on the salad as well, and the amount again did not disappoint. I have nothing but overall praise to give this place and I know I will be frequenting this spot often for the foreseeable future.

Hidden gem and parking is available! The steamed chicken dumplings pair well alone or with a soup. Tasty and tender dumplings, with a green onion garnish and crunchy onion. It taste so fresh. The soup was not too spicy, it tasted creamy and fragrant, with spices. I ordered to go and their service is so nice the lady here brought me water while I waited.

This is not a place to Thai one on, as it is incongruously located in the back of the ground floor of Windsor Club, a building used for Alcoholic Anonymous and Al Anon meetings. Only your taste buds will be inebriated. By far my favorite Thai restaurant in Glendale. A standout is their Tom Ka soup as well as the pictured, corn and chicken curry in a young coconut. Quality is well above average, and prices well below. For more pictures and a longer review see: https://phoodphotospolitics.blogspot.com/2023/03/best-thai-restaurant-in-glendale.html

I had the green curry with chicken. It was delicious, light and the chicken was fresh. Good quality and the food delivery was fast.

One of the best meals I've had this year. Everything was a hit -- from the salad to the side dishes, the meat, and dessert. Nothing disappointed. The menu is definitely made for sharing, and every dish felt thoughtful, flavorful, and fun. My favorite was the fried pepper. I think I'll be dreaming about it, and I would come back just for that. We were definitely overloaded with meat, but in the best way. The decor and ambience are very chill -- lively, relaxed, and very LA without feeling pretentious. We came for my mommy friend's birthday, and it was perfect for a moms' night out, but the crowd also had that young, hip energy. It feels like a place that works for all ages. Service was very attentive and knowledgeable without hovering. Parking is right next door by the Electric Theater lot, about $15 with no validation, so carpooling is probably the move. Love it, love it, love it. Definitely coming back.

Food wasn't good. Nothing stood out to me except for the salad. For starters we were suppose to have two different salads but without apologies a waitress simply brought out a small bowl of cucumber slices stating they ran out of the other salad. No comp or no discussion on an alternative where I was charged full prefix price. It was disappointing since I wanted to try their salads and that was the best part of their entire prefix and only dish we actually finished. For Steak and eggs entree, they never asked how I would've like the steak cooked and they brought it medium, which we did not touch since it was too bloody for my liking. The deserts were all underwhelming also including meringue, tart and chocolate mousse. I got sliders for my kid who loves a good cheese burger but she didn't eat it either. Also having fries with burgers would've been nice and I was surprised she got two small sliders with no fries. Usually sliders and chicken tenders are always served with fries. Esp for children. Service was okay initially but towards end I had to keep looking for waiter trying to ask for things since again end of day I felt workers were busy closing out and not as much attention was paid to guests still left. Ambiance was okay. It was farther than I thought near Chinatown than my usual west LA options. To me it's about experience, taste and quality time but given price point and culinary experience I had for Mother's Day prefix, I do not want to dine again at this restaurant.

We were…read morelooking for a fun Koreatown spot for large groups, family-style Korean food, drinks, and a place where everyone could actually relax and enjoy themselves without feeling rushed. Found Anju while searching for best group dinner spots in Koreatown Los Angeles and now I completely understand the hype. First off, making the reservation was incredibly easy. Being able to book a large party online without having to jump through hoops was a huge plus. When we arrived, we got seated almost immediately, which for a large group in KTown on a busy night felt impressive. Parking initially confused us a bit because of the plaza setup, but they offer valet and it ended up being super convenient and worth it. The vibe here is awesome. It's technically an outdoor restaurant, but it still feels intimate and lively. Perfect energy for groups, celebrations, birthdays, catching up with friends, or just hanging out over Korean BBQ and soju. Kyle was our server and genuinely made the night. Super attentive, very accommodating with our large party and baby, constantly checking in, pacing the meal well, and just brought great energy to the table all night. Service like that really changes the whole experience. Food-wise, the marinated beef was phenomenal. Easily one of the standout dishes of the night. So flavorful, tender, and the kind of dish everyone keeps reaching back for. We also ordered an octopus and pork dish that completely blew me away. Probably one of my favorite bites I've had in LA in a while. The asado-style platter wasn't my personal favorite compared to the marinated meats, but it still came with a generous amount and was great for sharing with a large table. We ordered a ton of food, beers, soju, shared plates, and left absolutely stuffed. Considering the amount of food, drinks, and the size of our party, we all felt like the value was really solid. Dessert is definitely more simple and traditional, so don't come expecting some massive dessert menu, but honestly the focus here is the food, drinks, atmosphere, and group dining experience. Overall, this is one of the best large group restaurants in Koreatown if you want great Korean food, strong service, fun social atmosphere, and a place that actually handles big parties well. Will absolutely be back.

The customer service was extremely poor, starting with over 1.5-hour wait for a table. When we politely asked about our seating status after waiting for an hour. I communicated I noticed there were open 4 or so tables that can accommodate 4-5 people each table and if any parties will be seated soon. The staff were dismissive, felt annoyed that I asked such a reasonable question, told me in a rude way to wait because they don't have enough cooks and doing what they can to get people seated as soon as they can. I noticed many people were finished eating, and just conversing, which likely explains their poor seating system and care for customer service. To make matters worse, their seating priority is completely unfair and broken. We had a party of five and watched them seat other groups of our size who arrived after us. It gave the distinct impression of preferential treatment, serving their own kind first. Once we finally got a table, it took another 30 minutes just for the staff to take our order. When the food did arrive, it was barely subpar. The $80 steak dish was highly disappointing and waste of money. The bulgogi was intestines and not traditional meat. The kimchi pork belly was also disappointing. The kimchi was overly salty. The food is way overpriced. Everyone in the party was disappointed and agrees. I respectfully provided the feedback again on the poor service regarding our seating experience and they pushed out back saying that's what we should expect if we come in the evening, nothing they need to do better. You can find better Korean food elsewhere most places in K-town at half the price. I would give this place less than 1 star if I could. I do not recommend dining here or trusting the reviews. Parking is also difficult to find and requires valet which is $6. For the business owners you seriously need to review your seating system, staff attitude, and the quality and price of your food, which reflects poorly in your overall customer service and experience.

So off we went, trying to get there on the early side, as it's small (25 seats) and we'd heard it can fill up quickly. We arrived somewhere around 5:45 and were one of only two tables, but maybe a half-hour later it was completely full. The staff is super friendly, the ambiance is cozy and clean, and I like that the spice levels can be adjusted. We opted for the cucumber salad, dan dan noodles, dumplings in chili oil and the mapo tofu (which my friend wanted to try, since he hadn't yet). Food came out quickly, and while I realize that's not uncommon, I wouldn't have minded just a little more spacing. Still, it wasn't so quick to be a problem. My favorite items were the dan dan noodles, which were addictively delicious, and the dumplings in chili oil, which are longer and flatter than some and more flavorful than most. The cucumber salad was also excellent and a nice palate cleanser between other items. I was probably a little less enamored of the mapo tofu. It was good but not quite at the level of the other dishes for me. I still remember the mapo tofu served at the late, great Ricebox in DTLA, and theirs had much more flavor punch. But all in all, Mala Class was excellent, and I'd be happy to return to try more of the menu (and maybe repeat a few faves!).

Parking was pretty chill at that time (snagged a street parking spot in front) and there was no wait. The dan dan noodles had a nice chew to them and the flavoring had the perfect hint of spice against the peanut sauce. The wings were a little too overseasoned -- we had to shake off all of the peppercorn on the top and it was still pretty salty and peppery (but not THAT spicy). They were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, though. The dumplings and chili oil were probably my favorite bite. They're like wontons except they didn't do the last fold, and the sauce they are in is very well-balanced with a strong hit of acid against sweetness. The mapo tofu needed some sugar to bring out the flavor of all of the spices because otherwise it felt like there was no real flavor, where there were a million spices working against each other. I would definitely pass on this one but everything else was pretty good. The interior is very classically Highland Park-esque and our server was super nice! I would come back to try other dishes.
