Love any poke place with marinated options and they have three: spicy miso, spicy tuna, and garlic oyster tuna. I tried all 3 and the garlic one was my favorite with spicy miso being close to 1st. Both spicy marinades had a bit of a kick for someone with a low-ish spice tolerance (if you're more medium or high you'll need more). I got a ton of veggies and toppings with mine, but only one other sauce since all the fish came marinated. They also had nicely wrapped onigiri that my friend tried and combos for people who have bigger appetites! All in all it's a great poke spot and I'm glad I got to try it. This is my first time trying and I'm so glad there is a good poké shop near me. I've been getting over a cold and today was the first day I had energy and an appetite. I was immediately greeted and the young man who served me was nice and gave me a sample of the spicy tuna (so I could determine its spiciness). I got the small 2 scoops "build your own", with spicy tuna. It was so good! Next time, I'll be smart and get 2 scoops of spicy tuna instead of extra krab salad, even though I do like the creamy neutral-ness of krab salad. During our first time here the workers were not the nicest which is okay a little attitude can be fixed, while making our bowls the portions were very small. Next time I ordered i did delivery via DoorDash, doordash delivery was on time, unfortunately the rice was undercooked, or needed more water, i did not eat the rice it was hard, fish portion's seemed okay. I love that they have build your own and pre constructed ones. I went with a miso flavored bowl and it was so very tasty! I also love that they have generous hand rolls in case you want to supplement your bowl or if you are not feeling it. We've been there twice now and have really enjoyed the food. Every other poke place I have been to were all decent, but this place really stands out. Went during their grand opening and it was great. Cons: The fish quality is underwhelming and not fresh. Perhaps, there was a lunch rush before I came to visit the store at 1:00pm. I had an unpleasant experience when I ordered Uber Eats and went to pick it up. The person handing it to me was dismissive and did not make eye contact, which seemed unusual. Upon receiving my order, I noticed that several items were missing from my Poké bowl, and there was no sauce included, which appeared intentional. I suspect this might have been due to not including a tip. I am relieved I did not tip and will not be returning. read more
