My sibling and I noticed a hair in the cucumber tray and pointed it out. The employee just plucked the hair out and left the food line as-is. A few minutes later, we saw her bringing out a fresh batch and asked if she was about to refill it. My sister politely reminded her that the whole tray was already contaminated and needed to be swapped out instead of topped off. She said she'd "get better at that" but just left the contaminated tray sitting there. There was no urgency to change it, and we watched them serve those exact cucumbers to the customers right after us. The staff was nice, but leaving contaminated food on the line and serving it to the next guests after being called out is just not okay, especially because the cucumbers that were touched by the hair were still left in there. read more

This has become one of my favorite poke spots! The fish is always fresh, and the Garlic Oyster Tuna is a must-try. I also love that their spicy tuna isn't mashed like most places--you can actually enjoy the texture of the fish. They have something for everyone, including cooked salmon and chicken bowls for those who don't eat raw fish, plus onigiri and Spam musubi, which makes them stand out from other poke spots and makes it a great place for families or kids. The restaurant itself is clean, nicely decorated, and has a welcoming atmosphere that makes dining in enjoyable. The owner, David, is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend if you're looking for fresh, quality poke and great service! read more

Poké House - Nice sushi, rice bowl with Scottish salmon, tuna, corn, green onion, seaweed, jalapeño mango, sweet onions, and crispy onions - Seafood Near Me - Los Angeles, California

This is my first time trying and I'm so glad there is a good poké shop near me. I've been getting over a cold and today was the first day I had energy and an appetite. I was immediately greeted and the young man who served me was nice and gave me a sample of the spicy tuna (so I could determine its spiciness). I got the small 2 scoops "build your own", with spicy tuna. It was so good! Next time, I'll be smart and get 2 scoops of spicy tuna instead of extra krab salad, even though I do like the creamy neutral-ness of krab salad. I also got some miso soup, which was also so good for my throat. I highly recommend this place! read more

Poké House - I added my own avocado at home. Small Build Your Own (2 Scoops) - Seafood Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Love any poke place with marinated options and they have three: spicy miso, spicy tuna, and garlic oyster tuna. I tried all 3 and the garlic one was my favorite with spicy miso being close to 1st. Both spicy marinades had a bit of a kick for someone with a low-ish spice tolerance (if you're more medium or high you'll need more). I got a ton of veggies and toppings with mine, but only one other sauce since all the fish came marinated. They also had nicely wrapped onigiri that my friend tried and combos for people who have bigger appetites! All in all it's a great poke spot and I'm glad I got to try it. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area especially because parking is pretty easy and I loved the fish so much. read more

man, 0 for 2 in los feliz so far. very clean inside and a couple folks were enjoying their meals. service was ok I kind of felt rushed but that might just be me. I wasn't thrilled with the flavors here they just didn't stand out. portions were ok just seemed bland. Not worth the price. read more

I was highly impressed by this poke shop from the service, to the variety of options, and the finished product! They offer multiple bases for your bowls from lettuce/salad, brown and white rice, seaweed, etc. I chose the DIY option and got the miso salmon and spicy tuna, both amazing! I also love that the staff let me sample the poke so I could make an informed decision. Lots of toppings here from fresh mango to almonds, avocado, edamame, corn, and so much more. I love the sauce options available as well. This is truly a DIY lovers dream. I'll definitely be back when that poke craving hits again. read more

Poké House is a chain restaurant with a location in Atwater Village, right on Los Feliz Boulevard. The restaurant is large, open and spotless. They have the traditional bases of rice or salad greens topped with various seafoods. I chose a combination of salmon, spicy salmon and spicy tuna. Finished off with cucumbers, seaweed and sesame seeds in a spicy mayonnaise sauce. The salad tasted very fresh and quite tasty. I would definitely return if I was running errands in the area. read more

Came here for a 2G2G bag of salmon but always leave with something besides that. Today, I had the crispy chicken bowl. It was sooo good for $12. I chose zucchini noodles and green salad as the base. The server was sweet and helpful. Each time I've picked up food, I'm never disappointed. read more

Wouldn't recommend this place better poke places around. During our first time here the workers were not the nicest which is okay a little attitude can be fixed, while making our bowls the portions were very small. Next time I ordered i did delivery via DoorDash, doordash delivery was on time, unfortunately the rice was undercooked, or needed more water, i did not eat the rice it was hard, fish portion's seemed okay. I really appreciate how clean they keep the restaurant. The food is good. It's just the portion sizes are underwhelming. I've had poke from Glendale to Pasadena that are comparable in price and this place just is skimping on the protein. It's really unfortunate because it's good. read more

The kid in love with Poke so we've been eating a lot it! Discovered this place during a game night with friends who picked up bowls for to enjoy. The fish and toppings were very fresh. I love that they have build your own and pre constructed ones. I went with a miso flavored bowl and it was so very tasty! I also love that they have generous hand rolls in case you want to supplement your bowl or if you are not feeling it. We've been there twice now and have really enjoyed the food. Will definitely return. read more

Just left this place. My first time here and I had a horrible experience. Came in to order my family some dinner and they took my first order when I was going to place my second order they told me "sorry we're closing now we don't have time for the rest of your order" and shut me out. They made me pay for the one bowl I placed. I honestly would have liked if they would have told me they were closing when I walked in. This is horrible customer service. These kid employees were horrible. 0/10 read more

So good. The charred salmon bowl was smoky, flavorful, and insanely fresh--and you can add extra toppings, which makes it even better. I love that they charr on the spot so it's fresh. If you get tired of raw fish, definitely give it a try. Also, try the canned iced tea. It's very light. read more

A little gem in a big plaza. Poke house has a wide selection of choices and very friendly staff. I see myself coming again in the future for the handrolls as it has become such a popular item in Los Angeles however I have not been able to find a casual dinner spot that serves them. I love the option to be able to get these without a reservation. Their poke bowls seem standard however the Individual ingredients and sauces raise the bar and are beyond exceptional. Along with some of their unique choices they stand out along the poke scene in LA. read more

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this new poke spot on Los Feliz Blvd--it's already become one of my favorites in LA! From the moment you walk in, the space feels fresh, clean, and welcoming. The staff is super friendly and patient, walking you through all the different options if it's your first time. The ingredients are incredibly fresh--you can really taste the quality. The fish is melt-in-your-mouth good, the toppings are vibrant and plentiful, and the sauces strike the perfect balance without overpowering the bowl. I also love the portion sizes: generous without being overwhelming. What really stood out to me is the attention to detail. Everything feels thoughtfully put together, from the way the bowls are layered to how the flavors complement each other. You can tell they care about giving you the best experience possible. It's rare to find a poke place that checks all the boxes: great food, welcoming service, clean atmosphere, and fair prices. This spot has it all, and I can already tell it's going to be a neighborhood favorite. If you're anywhere near Los Feliz, do yourself a favor and give them a try--you'll thank me later! read more

Just not great. Better poke around. Rice is not good. Fish doesn't seem fresh. This is a reminder to not order from here.

Rating: 3.75/5 It's my first time trying poke at this location. I ordered the spicy miso salmon and the garlic oyster tuna (2 scoop protein). I requested for the citrus ponzu and miso aioli (easy on the dressing). Pros: The staff are welcoming and friendly. The cucumbers, onions, ginger all have a crisp/crunch to them. Cons: The fish quality is underwhelming and not fresh. Perhaps, there was a lunch rush before I came to visit the store at 1:00pm. The storefront was low on the garlic oyster tuna and the remaining spicy miso salmon did not taste fresh and had a peculiar smell. read more
