Shoyu & spicy poke (large)
Justin H.

There's always a line at this poke spot, so I had to check it out. Even though the line was long, it moved pretty fast. Tables/seats are limited. We got their shoyu and spicy poke, which were tasty and fresh. Priced fairly well considering the amount of food they give to! The only complaint would be the rice was all meshed together, which didn't sit too well.

The most popular poke place around! There was a long line around 1pm on a Saturday. I came back around 5:30 pm and did not have to wait, but saw that the dinnertime line was beginning to form! Good luck with parking, you either get lucky in their small lot or street parking. If you want to risk it, there's a petco next store. I was really surprised with the prices here. For $14, you get a decently large platter of fish, rice, and sides. Since I was taking it to-go, I opted to just get poke by the pound, which was also good value! I got 1 pound of the shoyu tuna and enjoyed how fresh the fish was. The taste was pretty delicious. It makes me want to try other flavors some day!

As excellent as everyone says! Even though there was a line, it moved quick. The poke bowl is delicious (loved spicy and wasabi options,) as are the seaweed salad and sweet bread sides.

Popular poke spot but they only have tuna so this might not be the best choice for everyone. There's a small parking lot out front and there's minimal seating inside the actual restaurant. There was a bit of a line when I went on a Saturday afternoon but it moved pretty quick I ordered the large bc I wanted to try two different flavors but later realized I could've gotten a regular and still been able to try two different sauces. Next time, I would def plan on getting a regular since the large was way too much For flavors, I liked both the Hawaiian and spicy a lot. The shoyu was just ok. I like that they have spicy cucumber salad too but I do wish it had more of a kick

We waited around 20 minutes to order at this hyped up poke shop. We both ordered the option which allowed you to pick two kinds of fish with rice and two sides. We were able to try four different kinds of poke since we spread out our options among the two plates to try as many as we could. For our sides, we got the cucumber salad and seaweed salad. The fish was definitely fresh and the rice was steaming hot too. However, I personally didn't see anything extremely special about the poke here. The shoyu poke especially was way too salty. The spicy poke was as well. The one with mayo on it was less so. The rice was fresh but also a little bit mushy. The seaweed salad was a little bit too sweet for me and the cucumbers also had a bit of sweetness and acidity rather than savoriness which is what I prefer. The portions were generous and definitely high-quality ingredients. However, this might just not be for me - not the best poke or worst I've ever had. There were plentiful seats inside and outside, so that was definitely a plus. The interior was clean and well organized as well. I'd recommend giving this place a try, but it's not my personal favorite. Fresh fish but the flavors just weren't my cup of tea.

This was one of the best pokes I've ever had. I got the spicy and Cali style poke which came with rice and two sides. I chose the cucumber and spicy edamame, and added avocado though I probably didn't need to. I think this combo was perfect and was really happy with every ingredient. So fresh and high quality, and full of flavor. The pricing is also really reasonable. I would highly recommend this spot.

Jus' Poke is one of my favorite poke spots in Redondo. It's a true hole-in-the-wall with minimal seating inside, but the food more than makes up for it. The poke is super fresh and consistently hits the spot. Portions are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. It's clearly a popular place--there's often a line--but it moves pretty quickly, so the wait is usually not bad at all. If you're looking for high-quality, no-frills poke, this is a great go-to spot.

This place has the best poke! I ordered the spicy poke and the shoyu poke. Service was quick and place was chill. Definitely would come back if I'm in the area.

This place was SO great. One of the best poke i've ever had. I am from Hawaii and it really beats it haha. The shoyu and the spicy tuna were insane!! Most Poke places have an overpowering amount of sauce and it doesn't have the actual fish taste. But this place brings out the flavor in the actual fish. I loved it! I will be back when i'm back in socal!

One of my favorite poke places in the south bay that I've tried. Don't let the long lines deter you, it goes very quick. For parking, there is a tiny parking lot but I usually do street parking on PCH a little before the shop or across the street. There are a bar seats inside and a few tables outside but I reccommend grabbing it to go and heading off to the beach to enjoy. I get soy ans spicy tuna. And you get an option of 2 sides. I always get the seaweed salad and the pickles, personally think the pickles the best sides!

If you're anywhere near Redondo, you NEED to hit Jus' Poke. This place does poke the right way. fresh, flavorful, and straight to the point. The fish tastes clean and buttery, the marinades are perfectly balanced, and the portions? Generous. They don't play the "tiny scoop" game here. You actually leave full and happy. Everything tastes like it was prepped with care. No weird aftertaste, no soggy vibes, just solid, crave-worthy poke that hits every time. It's casual, quick, and exactly what you want when you're hungry and not in the mood for nonsense. Only thing I'd love to see? Add salmon to the mix! A good buttery salmon option would take this place from elite to untouchable. Still, easy five stars. Fresh fish, big bowls, no drama. That's how it should be.

Jus' Poke's been on my radar for quite a while as it appears to be one of the few poke places in L.A. that actually serve real Hawaiian-style poke. Decided it was time to come here as I was visiting my friend nearby in Torrance. Went a la carte and got 1/3 lb each of the original, spicy, and shoyu, along with some rice. I thought the poke was good, but it didn't blow me away. The tuna was very fresh, no issues there. But I thought the seasoning on the original (which is Hawaiian-style) and shoyu didn't quite match what I've had in Hawaii. The spicy was good, but it's covered in spicy mayo so you can't really mess that up. The menu is also limited as the only thing they serve here is tuna, so if you're a fan of salmon or octopus, you're out of luck. Staff here are very friendly. I would expect nothing less from a restaurant whose owners come from the Hawaiian islands! They do have a small parking lot, but I can see it being an issue if it is a busy day here. Overall, I did enjoy the food here. I think it is good, but not good enough for me to go out of my way for it. If I'm in the area again though, definitely will come back.

I was very excited to try this place yesterday, just to be disappointed. It was underwhelming to say the least, I've had way better poke in Long Beach without the wait. Also the line was confusing for patrons as the guy behind me kept trying to cut with his 5 kids. The drinks weren't even cold and the portions are not consistent. Will not be returning. Instagram and tik tok always over hype everything !

Is there free parking?

Yes, there is a private lot with about 8 spaces and street parking on PCH.

Is any of the poke gluten, dairy, and egg free?

Hi J.L. Our original and spicy poke are gluten free. All of our Mayo based poke do have egg whites in them. We have no dairy in any of our products. Mahalo!

Did you recently change the size of your small boxes? We eat there often and noticed today that the portions were smaller, the box itself was smaller and had a different design than what we had two weeks ago.

Hi Christine, With COVID messing up a lot of distribution we have had to change bowls here and there but they are the same volume. Our usual bowls are flatter but wider. These… Read more

Can you pick a fish or it is already included in the sauce?

All we serve here is Ahi tuna and it is premixed and marinated. We hope to see you soon!

How is the store operating during COVID?

No inside seating, contactless payment, customers stand 6 ft away from each other while waiting in line. Last time I was there, outdoor seating was not available. Everyone wears masks and hand sanitizer is available for customers.

Is the fish wild caught?

I have no idea but it's delicious.

Torrance Food Crawl #442…read more Ali'i Hawaiian Grill offers a minimalist approach with a simple menu that has a limited selection. For the Poke bowls, select your bowl size, pick two from the four or so fish choices, a base (rice or salad), and for most bowls a side or two. After several visits, my experience has been fine each time. Good quality fish and fresh sides. There are also some plate options where you can select Huli Chicken or Kalua Pork. I've tried both the chicken and pork (though not on the plate option), and both were excellent. This location used to be strictly take-out, but now there are two tables inside if you'd like to sit inside. I feel compelled to mention that when I recently visited this location, they had a health grade of B from LA County displayed in the window. Yelp shows that they had 14 health code violations on September 18. Usually, I don't show too much concern for these health scores, but when a restaurant's primary product is raw fish, a lower score gets my attention.

There aren't many places where you can just get poke, by itself, without a bowl. If you truly love…read morepoke, try it by itself sometime. I was a fan of their El Segundo location but I believe it is gone. This place had about 5 or 6 different fresh poke styles available during our visit. We tried the Hawaiian, the Creamy Garlic Crunch, and the Sweet and Spicy. We also ordered the Chips and Smoked Ahi Dip, and the Huli Chicken Bowl. I think I loved everything. The Creamy Garlic Crunch poke was especially amazing. It had a slight spicy kick to it and it was rich and delicious. The chips that came with the dip were obviously freshly-made wontons and I could have eaten a hundred of them. The dip was good but not as flavorful as I had hoped or had in the past. For the chicken bowl, the rice and cucumbers that came with the chicken were excellent. You get a ton of mac salad and it is excellent. The chicken was solid, too. Unless they are hiding in plain sight, the places that just sell fresh poke, without the bowl, are few and far between in Southern California. I love poke bowls, too, but sometimes the poke by itself (with the different sauces and seasoning) is just incredible. This spot serves delicious fresh poke and I will always be a fan.

You go in for what you know, and that already gets you caught up, but then you also want to try something new because there's always something new to try. Sometimes it's a gamble, sometimes it's amazing and you're like "OMG! I need this every time," and sometimes you're like "what was that?" And you really don't know what it was because the descriptions aren't in English. The staff is always super friendly. If you go for hot food during lunchtime, you will get caught up because you'll want to pile your plate high and forget they weigh it & you can easily end up with a $24 plate on top of all your groceries. They have great sweet treats that aren't super high in sugar, which is a plus. Their ramens are my favorite. I've probably tried every one. My favorite is the one with the black pieces in it (I think they're mushrooms). I still haven't tried the mushrooms, but the creamy broth mix is everything. Their sparkling sodas are always delicious. My favorite is the Hello Kitty strawberry one. I told all my friends about it, and me and my sister go regularly. My sister loves the banana milk! Definitely recommend!

The thing that's good about going to Tokyo central for premade sushi is that they make all their sushi fresh daily and what's not sold is marked down and got rid of before next day compared to other markets where they sell their sushi that's like 2-4 days old. They went viral for awhile for having a hot food bar, which looked like a buffet but in reality you grab what you want but it's $15.99 a pound. The pound adds up really quick and you end with paying like $30. The food isn't that great in the hot food bar in my option so I'd skip it. The market itself is very pricey it's not a cheap market. So if your planning on buying grocery your gonna pay high prices. I'd go here for a quick sushi roll or some mochi they sell a bag from Japan for $3.99 with red bean that's pretty good. One of my favorite food item is the umami chicken karage with rice that's pre packaged and if you can snag it while it's still hot that great. Its usually on a separate table on in the refrigerated section, It's the one with some teriyaki sauce over it, not the regular one. As you exit you can grab utensils, napkins, wasabi. ginger, soy sauce. Parking is a hit and miss, it's a popular market if you go there at lunch time it's packed or weekends. Personally I drop by to get a quick bite, sushi roll or chicken karage . They do have a food court that has a Japanese bakery, takoyaki , a katsu place. Upstairs they have a sushi bar which is unique I havnt tried it but seems a bit pricey but looks like quality. Looking for something Japanese in food wise, this would be one of the places to go to look for it. I don't know why it seems like every Asian market I've been to is so cramped and hardly any space when trying to get around with a cart. It's the same here.t
