    Loco Moco with Portuguese patty
    Victor Y.

I started eating this yummy Loco Moco then realized I better take a picture. Portuguese patty has a nice zing to it, had the gravy on the side for my preference. $17 Place is clean, has inside and outside seating, friendly patrons. One of my go to Aloha grinds

TNT Aloha Cafe has a special place in my heart. Yes, the food is delicious - no question. But what keeps me coming back is the service. The servers are friendly and you can tell they have regular customers by the way they interact with their tables. Even the chef has come out to greet me and ask about my day/how I heard about this place. My favorite thing to order here is their beef teriyaki bowl (also comes as a plate if you want a larger serving). So simple, but so good. Rice, red pickled ginger, broccoli - but that beef? They've really mastered it here. The meat is ALWAYS tender and the fat is perfectly rendered, complimenting the savory component of the sauce. I also ordered a few of their spam musubis for a work trip to the east coast awhile back. They were tasty and filling enough to keep me energized for my 6 hr flight! I only know of one off-menu item (pictured) through an old friend. It's definitely a guilty pleasure and would recommend ordering if you're sharing a plate with a friend. See you guys again soon!

    Salad with miso dressing 6/20/2026.

TNT Aloha Cafe is dynamite! Went here for the first time on Saturday 6/20/2026 to dine in for lunch and everything on the menu looked so delicious, it was Ono! I ordered the teriyaki beef entree which came with a side salad (choice of miso, ranch, or thousand island dressing) which I chose Miso dressing, macaroni salad, and white rice. Everything was to my liking and it was a good amount of food, so much that I had to take home leftovers. The Mac salad had bits of potatoes and peas, not too sweet, yet not too bland. The miso salad was good, had julienne cuts of cucumber and diced tomatoes; served as an added crunch to my meal. The Teri beef was sweet and juicy, loved the thin cuts especially with the fat, full of flavor. So if you want a taste of Aloha, then go to TNT Aloha Cafe and let the flavors of TNT Aloha explode in your mouth! Mahalo!

2/28/26 Sure, shave ice sounds good on a hot day but I'm here for Spam Musubi

2/28/26 Small mom & pop shop in a plaza serving island grinds. There are 2 entrances, one for dine-in & one for to-gos. Parking is shared among businesses, free. I was promptly greeted by the lady at the register with a kind & beautiful smile. Ordered my 4 musubis (spam) for to go & she says they're made fresh & offered to take to my car once it's ready. She also offered iced water while I waited. I availed myself to their lavatory & it nice & clean. It was long until my hot spam musubis were ready. I'm accustomed to having them served in Saran wrap but these weren't so they were falling apart. The spam to rice ratio was more in the rice side but these weren't delicious nonetheless. These were definitely made to order, not too salty either. Would love to try other dishes at another time if in the area.

Always our go-to spot when we don't know "what's for dinner"! Got there at 5:45 PM and was able to get a table in a couple minutes. Looks like they added some pictures to the wall and it looked freshly painted inside. I ordered the Kim Chee Loco Moco with Portuguese Sausage patties, and it was a mix of flavors that just worked well! The loco Moco gravy is always perfect here and the kimchee fried rice was perfectly prepared. As always a BIG BIG portion of chicken katsu comes with the dinner plate, chicken is crunchy and the meat is moist and tender. The regular Loco Moco is a staple here and there was nothing left on that plate. The Chinese chicken salad was big serving with a sweet and vinegary dressing with pineapples. Next time we'll probably order the dressing on the side but again there was nothing left on the plate!

I finally got to try this place last night. My nephew had his graduation dinner here and it was great. I got to try quite a few items in their menu and everything was really good. I'm not a fan of chicken teriyaki but to my surprise, TNT made me change my mind. I love Mac salad and theirs was delicious. Other items that I had were the beef teriyaki, fried chicken, bacon fried rice, and salad. Service was excellent. They took care of our party well. Ambiance is nothing fancy with booths, tables, and chairs. There's plenty of parking. Thank you TNT for your kind hospitality.

Four couples dining this morning with us being five so the service was pretty quick and food came out quickly as well. Food was delicious and definitely good local flavor.

I hadn't been to TNT in several years but was reminded that it is so good at a recent event where I tried their Kalua Pork, Teriyaki Chicken and Bacon Fried Rice and really enjoyed them. I liked it so much that I ordered catering for my birthday party last month. We ordered the Kalua Pork, Bacon Fried Rice and Chinese Chicken Salad. Everything was ready when promised and the friendly staff were very accommodating and even helped us to the car with the trays of food. I also asked for some extra salad dressing which they included for free. Everything was absolutely delicious. The smoky flavor of the Kalua Pork was perfect and the bacon fried rice was amazingly decadent. The Chinese Chicken Salad was great, too, and the dressing was awesome. I still have some leftover dressing that I'm been using on salads at home. Really yummy. Prices were decent; pretty much inline with others out there. I'd definitely use their catering again or drop in for some killer Hawaiian grub. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Was in the mood for some local grinds, so came by in the late morning. I wanted to try the egg foo yung with char sui. I ordered a passion orange drink to pair with the egg foo yung. Service was spot on and the dining room was clean and not too busy. The egg foo yung was good, but not as good as their loco moco or their lau lau.

This is a great place to eat if you're in the mood for Hawaiian food or miss the Hawaiian islands. They have everything from loco moco, katsu, musubi, and even shaved ice. The workers here are wonderful and patient. Really nice ambiance for individuals, families, dates, etc. We tried 3 different musubis and liked them all. Aside from the classic spam musubi, they also have katsu and portuguese musubi. They're unique and delicious. I'd get all 3 again. The spicy sesame katsu bowl is packed with many different layers of flavor. You got the crunch of the tender katsu which is nicely balanced out with their sauce they apply on top of it. The side of coconut shrimp is a nice addition to any entree. The max moco loco is a large bed of steamed rice, a hamburger patty, their portuguese sausage, and corned beef patty all under 3 eggs and topped with their brown gravy. This one was really good. The meat is buried under their gravy so each bite is a bit of a fun surprise since you don't know which meat you'll be biting into lol Their bacon fried rice should be a staple in any Hawaiian restaurant. It's so good!! I love bacon in anything so I was happy to try their version of bacon fried rice. i'd get this one again too. We had so much that we needed boxes for leftovers.

If you're looking for a spot that feels like it's truly part of the community, TNT Aloha Cafe is exactly that. When we went, there were so many locals coming in and out, you could immediately tell this is a place people come back to again and again. Those are always the best kinds of spots. We also had the chance to meet the owner, Steve, and he was genuinely one of the nicest, most welcoming people. You can feel how much heart he puts into the food and the space. We ordered a little bit of everything to try: spam musubis, poke nachos, their new spicy katsu bowl, fried rice, and of course loco moco. Honestly, everything was delicious. The flavors were comforting, portions were generous, and it all tasted fresh and made with care. The spicy katsu bowl especially stood out, crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of heat. This is the kind of place you root for. Great food, great people, and a strong local following for a reason. We'll definitely be back.

My boyfriend introduced me to his childhood restaurant and I absolutely loved TNT! The staff members are very kind and accommodating as well - good vibes here. We ordered the following dishes: * Poke Nachos: They were kind enough to let me order half the entree size, which was the perfect amount! I loved the sriracha mayo and it was a bit spicy, but I was able to handle it (despite having a mild spice tolerance). Please note that it only comes with tuna for the poke & comes with wonton chips. 5/5 * Chicken Katsu: I LOVED the Chicken Katsu - I ate this one the most during our meal! Fried to perfection and super juicy chicken. The sauce is amazing as well. * Spam Musubi: One of the better musubi I've had. 5/5 * Chinese Chicken Salad: My bf raved about this dish and he doesn't like salad in general, but loves this salad a LOT! I didn't enjoy the salad as much as him, but it was definitely refreshing. 4/5 * Loco Moco: Not my favorite tbh, but my boyfriend enjoyed it. I only had one bite. 2/5 All in all, I would go here again and order the Chicken Katsu for sure, LOL.

You know what's crazy, is that I used to live down the street from this place and never tried it. Big mistake. I've basically tried every Hawaiian food spot in the South Bay and I have to say this is in my top 5. I ordered the loco moco, tnt plate, and a side of poke. The loco moco was just ok, I felt the burger patties could have been better seasoned but the tnt plate and poke were awesome. Their teriyaki sauce was very good and the katsu was fried perfectly and crispy. But the poke...dude, have you ever eaten something and it's nothing crazy or flashy but one bite and...gospel music. All in all they definitely cook with aloha. And I'll definitely be back.

The polite and personable gentleman behind the counter helped me narrow down my choices and offered samples. The salmon and tuna poke were delicious. One was shoyu, and the other was limu; both had umami flavors. I was so glad that the shoyu didn't have a hint of sweetness and that the limu wasn't too salty. The savory seasoning/marinade and cool temp made the poke a very satisfying and refreshing meal. I also asked for rice and mac salad for my to-go plate, and those were solid complements to the poke. It's a chill, fast-casual place with Hawaiian tropical decor and a few dine-in tables. The plaza it's in is kinda small and janky, but at least parking is free. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd love to drop by for their poke.

Great staff! My friend and I stopped into this great shop in Lomita and had a fabulous meal. I love the way they do their poke - you get to pick TWO flavors of meat! How fun! It was all fresh, good selection of ingredients and the taste in the Crunchy Tuna Garlic was superb! We also loved the Spicy Salmon Mayo. I'm a huge tocino fan so when I saw it on their menu I had to get it! I was surprised it came with two fried eggs and was a nice, big portion. We also had to try their Crispy Masubi and this was fantastic. I've had many deep fried masubi versions and this was much nicer than those. This was the best breaded type of masubi I've had. Absolutely loved it and would get it again in a second. Overall, fabulous meal at Poke & More that I would go back for.

Poke & More is the second kind. I've been here enough times now to finally have an opinion and the woman working the counter may genuinely be one of the nicest people I've encountered in a restaurant in a while. Warm, patient, grateful you're there. The sort of person who somehow makes handing over a plastic bowl of raw fish and rice feel like an act of hospitality instead of a transaction. That matters. The place itself is simple, clean and easy. Parking isn't a battle. Nobody is trying to turn poke into theater. You order your food, they make it and you leave happier than you arrived. The bowl is straightforward: white rice, furikake, poke. And the rice deserves credit. Properly cooked, fluffy, enough structure to hold the fish without turning into paste. Traditional Hawaiian poke doesn't require sushi rice and honestly I prefer this approach. Let the fish do the talking. The fish, unfortunately, is also why this stops at four stars. I usually get two kinds of poke and the seasoning is flavorful but can run a little salty. More importantly, the texture isn't completely consistent. Some pieces have that clean, firm bite you want from raw tuna. Others can be softer, slightly mealy, occasionally a little fishier than I'd like. Nothing has ever crossed into "don't eat this" territory. It's just the difference between good poke and the kind of poke that makes you stop talking for a minute. And this is good poke. The portions are generous, the rice works, the seasoning scratches the itch and the whole thing makes for an easy, satisfying meal. There are probably flashier poke places in Los Angeles. There are certainly more expensive ones. Poke & More feels like neither. It feels like a neighborhood place that does its job. And then that ridiculously kind service bumps the whole experience up another notch. Four stars. The food is good. The hospitality is better. And I'll absolutely be back.

The Creamy Garlic Crunch poke was especially amazing. It had a slight spicy kick to it and it was rich and delicious. The chips that came with the dip were obviously freshly-made wontons and I could have eaten a hundred of them. The dip was good but not as flavorful as I had hoped or had in the past. For the chicken bowl, the rice and cucumbers that came with the chicken were excellent. You get a ton of mac salad and it is excellent. The chicken was solid, too. Unless they are hiding in plain sight, the places that just sell fresh poke, without the bowl, are few and far between in Southern California. It's literally walking distance from our hotel in Torrance -- so close we actually walked past it the first time without even realizing it was there. Super hidden, easy to miss. The space itself is small, and when you first walk in it doesn't hit you with an over-the-top tiki vibe right away. But once the drinks start coming out, it fully delivers. The glassware is so fun and themed -- I was obsessed with the flamingo cup and actually ended up buying a couple online since I couldn't take the real one home with me. Drink-wise, I stuck mostly to my usual zombie, which has this great earthy, cinnamon-y flavor that's just different from anything else -- does the trick every time (there's a two-drink max/minimum on it, which I respect). We also tried a Makahiki Mua and a Painkiller, both really solid. The Makahiki Mua had a fun flavor, kind of similar to a Painkiller, but the zombie is still my go-to. Service was pretty good overall -- the bartender stayed mostly in one corner of the bar, which actually worked in our favor since we got served fast. A couple of small quirks though: they only have a limited number of menus, so we kept having to pass one back and forth around the bar, which felt a little silly. They also seemed to be running low on drink cups at times, having to wash and rotate them back into use, which was an odd thing to notice at a bar this size. Also wish they had some food or snacks available, even something small -- but that's a minor gripe. Vibe-wise, this is easily one of my favorite tiki lounges I've been to -- doesn't quite topple Broken Compass Tiki for me, but it's up there. Fun, easy, great drinks, solid service despite the small hiccups, and a perfect spot if you're staying in the Torrance area. Would absolutely go back and would recommend it to anyone chasing that tiki lounge crawl.

We order L&L at work a lot from a different location so I knew pretty much what I was gonna order and I couldn't believe how long he took going through the menu and trying to figure out what he wanted, because for a smaller restaurant, they actually have a sizable menu. The staff was super pleasant, the food was tasty and as always very filling, it was a beautiful day, so we sat outside and enjoyed our meal. This food was the perfect ending to a fruitful and enjoyable beach day!

There is so much love, so much heart that is put into the food. Additionally, the amount of food is coma sending. I finished the food and was so ready to take a nap in the warm weather. It's literally like eating grandma's food when youre a young child. The spicy tuna came out first and we were shocked at how delicious the fish was. There wasn't a lot of rice which I appreciated and that fish had a bit of a kick. Pair that with some wasabi shoyu and you're tasting some real goodness. The spam musubi was solid with the furikake. My only gripe was that it had a bit too much rice which could have been better balanced with a thicker slice of spam. Regardless, it was solid. Now the star was the chicken combo. Boy oh boy, that Ladybug Fried Chicken was amazing. The batter had so much flavor and added to the juicy chicken. Pair that with you salad and mac salad.. oh my.. youre tasting a slice of Heaven! Fair warning, there is some grinded celery in the mac salad, so if youre allergic then let them know. Otherwise, that aroma of celery added so much depth to the mac. I can't emphasize enough, there is so much love in the food and the servers take gooooood care of you. It was also amazing to see how much attention to detail the owners put in the restaurant. There is ladybug decor all throughout the place and hand drawn papers from customers. It was really neat to see how much love they receive from their customers.
