As a poke enthusiast, I was pleased to find yet another great poke spot! Since I was sharing with my mom, I ordered a Medium bowl and it ended up being the perfect portion for the both of us. The staff was also really friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Plus, everything was served super fast, so we got to start eating almost right away :)

Really good spot for Poke! The spicy tuna and albacore tasted so fresh and all the veggies were crisp. The sauces were good and it's good portion for the fish. Great place to stop by on a lunch break.

The portions are so generous here! Located right in the center of old town Pasadena is this locally owned poke shop. This is one of my favorite places to grab a casual lunch or dinner especially after doing some shopping nearby. The sushi quality here is solid, I'd give it a 8/10. The staff here are always so kind and will load up your bowl, so come hungry! Def worth checking out if you're in the area.

Poke Salad Bar is a locally owned business in the Old Town area of Pasadena. They serve poke bowls, poke burritos, and even some Korean dishes. Their small size is $14.99 (2 scoops of fish), their medium is $16.99 (3 scoops), and their large is $18.99 (4 scoops). We shared the medium with a base of brown rice with quinoa (they ran out of white rice) and one scoop each of salmon, ahi tuna, and spicy tuna. We then got our toppings, sides, and sauces mixed together and put in the bowl. Of the fish my favorite was the spicy tuna. I liked the seaweed salad, crab meat, and seaweed toppings. The portions were pretty good and were filling for the two of us to share.

This is a nice little shop. Haven't seen many dedicated poke place around in years. Plenty of seats but you can also grab and go. The staff were nice. Pretty great serving sizes for the proteins. A good amount of selection of toppings. I got the small size and that was plenty. Everything taste great and fresh. I'd like to return again when in the area.

Quick and easy ordering to build my own poke bowl with fresh and a variety of ingredients. They have plenty of seating inside but I took mine to go. They also make sushi rolls, nigiri, onigiri, and spam masubi. No complaints here.

Super generous portions, friendly employees, and a tasty, customizable - what's not to like? Stopped by here for a casual early dinner while in Old Town, and there was only one group ahead of ahead so ordering was quick. The medium size here could easily be a large at another place. The fish was fresh and I appreciated avocado being an included topping. There's a good amount of indoor seating. Credit cards accepted. They have other options like Korean dishes if you're not looking for poke. Self-service water.

Stopped by here on the way home from our road trip and despite the reviews, the food was disappointing. The rice they had was just regular white rice versus the sushi rice at most poke places. They give you a huge rice portion and not that much protein. The flavors aren't all there and everything tastes bland even with their special house sauce. Friendly service, I just wish the food was better.

Great neighborhood spot for refreshing poke. Their signature is their generous portions. Some outside seating, but we mostly do takeout. The bowls are definitely bigger than the burritos, but I usually get the burrito so it's easier to eat. Octopus is good here and if you've ever handled it as an ingredient you know how easy it is to mess up. Sometimes I wonder if they are giving out too much to their detriment, but they've been in business for years so it seems they're good. Located on busy Colorado so hard to street park.

Large bowl with brown rice and quinoa, all free toppings, salmon.

Got a large bowl: brown rice with quinoa, all free toppings, salmon. It was fire! Fresh, generous portions. Actually large was more food than expected! Great location too, urban and lively.

I've been living in the area for around 2 years and a half, but it had not occurred to me to visit this place yet. I came on a somewhat busy Saturday afternoon, and despite the stress of the lunch rush, both Mac and Jessa were helpful and took care of us in such a polite, professional, and kind manner. The options are endless, and the large bowl, which is what me and my friend went for, is truly LARGE. It almost feels like two regular bowls at any other poke shop. I also liked that they have spam musubi, and if you check in with the Yelp app, you can get a free small bowl of miso soup, which pairs super well with, and is a great side dish for the poke bowl. All of the ingredients feel extra fresh and nourishing, and it feels like a great meal experience overall.

One employee asked if I'd like crab and seaweed salad. I said yeah. Crab is probably imitation crab. I like that the crab and seaweed salad are free. I don't think other poke bowl restaurants serve them for free. I like how the sauces and toppings are labeled on the display cases or glass. I didn't see the trash can so I asked an employee where I was supposed to place the tray and bowl. He said he could take it. Employees were kind.
