A follow up review to the owner's reply: The portion is definitely not the same size. You skimped out on both, rice and fish. It was 30% less. I've been eating at your restaurant for the last 7 months, regularly. I can tell the difference. The bowl is the same, yes. But the contents of the bowl are way way less this time. A very small portion for $21!! This is medium size. It used to be bigger. Bought it for lunch but definitely need to buy another small meal to hold me up until dinner. Not going back. Also, they forgot wasabi. Two stars for freshness.

Boba slushee was also really good, not overly sweet The staff was super friendly and looked genuinely happy to be doing this, he's gotta be the owner or something. My only suggestion is some sort of music or background noise. Other than that the inside is cute and minimalist. Very clean

I ordered delivery and was really disappointed, especially with the spam rice ball. I was charged $3.99, but look at what I got... I could barely find any spam--just a few tiny pieces, maybe 3-4 micro-sized bits. Definitely not worth it!

I have been craving poke bowls for the last few weeks. I saw PokeMix on Lake Ave in Pasadena and said BINGO! I was hooked. Staff was super friendly. Atmosphere was nice and comfy. Good space with lots of inside seating. Besides poke bowls, they also sell boba drinks. They have a small water station available for customers. They even sell some trinkets or something of the like. Here is how it works... bowl is one size, but the number of scoops of fishes and seafood come in 3 sizes. Small $12.99 = 2 scoops, Medium $14.99 = 3 scoops, Large $16.99 = 4 scoops. An extra scoop is $2 per scoop. Go for the Large! I did and so glad I did... it was very very tasty and delicious! I got half brown rice and half salad as my base plus Ahi Tuna, Salmon, and Scallop with all the wet and dry toppings mixed with House Poke, Eel, and Spicy Miso sauces. I thought I would take some poke home, but I couldn't stop eating it and before I knew it, it was all gone in my tummy LOL. Please note they have limited selection of fishes and toppings, but still adequate for a great poke bowl. Before I left, I was curious about their tea drinks. I ended up getting a medium Green Milk Tea with mango jelly. It was good, but a tad more bitter than I would have preferred. I asked for no ice, but still got ice. No big deal... I just scooped the ice out. I definitely recommend this place. I know I'll be back for more great tasting poke bowl!

Ordered my food ahead for pickup which said 15-25 minute pick up time which isn't bad for mid day in a business area. I placed my order when I was about 15 minutes away walking. I use my lunch break to take a walk outside so picking up the food vs delivery made more sense. My food ended up being ready in 3 minutes which was perfect! My only issue was when I arrived my food was just sitting on the counter instead of in a temperature controlled environment. a little disheartening since the food can spoil rather quickly. Overall the food was great & I would try it again. Next time around I will order in store and hopefully can still avoid any lines.

This is such an adorable little place. I didn't do ANY research before stopping by here, yes, it was an impulsive poke calling. I love the adorable owners, especially the wife-- she is so anime like in the cutest way. I love their little store with a fun fishy station. The sashimi is very much what you'd expect from seeing them through the glass. The albacore does look kind of sad. But adorable owners nonetheless. The drinks are interesting. I love their choice of kids. So many options for straws and no straws.

One of my favorite poke places. I've been coming every day and they have a good happy hour meal and boba combo. The coffee late boba is the best. Good portions as well.

We stumbled on PokeMIX one evening while visiting our daughter in Pasadena. Although we missed the happy hour special, our poke bowls were still a great treat! You can choose between small, medium, and large sizes which offer 2, 3, or 4 protein choices. Small was plenty for me. I chose tuna and salmon, along with brown rice, toppings, and sauce. There are plenty of varieties to choose from. My bowl was very tasty! They also offer sushi, teriyaki bowls, boba teas and more. I am tempted to go during happy hour for a free drink with my bowl. First they screwed up my Uber Eats order by forgetting one whole bowl. Second I asked for sauce on the side and although they put the sauce on the side they still put sauce on the bowls. This happens I get it but when I tried to call them just a voicemail. Anyways the main reason for the reviews is the quality. I ordered a medium bowl and 2 small bowls. How can one small bowl have more fish in it than a medium bowl? Also the sauces and overall flavors were terrible. read more

The one issue I have with them is they show a loyalty program in terms of entering your phone number -- if you order online as well as the register. But I've never gotten any points. I once asked the owner about it and he claimed that they do in fact give out items, and said he would check on it that night when I told him the situation. But he never actually asked my name and info, and I've still never received any points since, despite having ordered here about twice a week for the past several weeks. It's not a deal breaker but it's strange.

The tiramisu layer makes the drink very creamy and rich. It works perfectly with the roasted, nutty hojicha flavor. As for the uji matcha latte, it has a slightly sweet creaminess with just the right ratio of matcha and milk. A nice little perk is that they always have a BOGO free drink deal, which rotates every week. However, every BOGO drink I've tried is pretty basic and nothing special. The drink usually comes with boba as a topping. The boba here isn't the best though. From my experience, the boba tends to stick together and become chunky.

4.5 STARS i love…read moremolly tea, although i do think the consistency depends on the location. the san gabriel location is very consistent for me. sometimes it does taste a little watered down, but most of the time, the teas are great. this molly tea is always busy, especially in the evenings and nighttime. there are a few spots in the tiny parking lot and some parking behind the building, but otherwise you have to try to get lucky for street parking. it's very spacious inside for a boba shop, with some seating along the side, and there's seating outside as well. there are two kiosks on the side to order, and then pickup for drinks is at the counter. when it's very crowded, there's also a line to just pick up orders. prepare to wait a while for your drinks! i actually like to order 20-30 minutes ahead of time via the app if i can. - peach tie guan yin oolong milk tea (5/5): SO good - this milk tea is what made molly tea live up to the hype for me! it was very fragrant and perfectly sweet, and i could still taste the tea, as well as the peach flavor. it was the perfect balance between milky and fruity. it was also lightly creamy, and i loved sipping it through the small straws - premium jasmine milk tea (5/5): basically their signature drink, which is one of the best jasmine teas i've ever had. i just loved the fragrance, although it was definitely more floral than other jasmine teas - tongmu lapsang milk tea (4/5): this had a really good black tea flavor. it wasn't too bitter, but i could definitely taste a little bitterness - kind of like a roasted tea. overall, it had a good balance of sweetness, bitterness, and milkiness. i did appreciate the flavors, but i didn't enjoy it as much as the others because i'm not as much of a fan of black tea - premium jasmine matcha (4.5/5): i wish the matcha flavor was a little stronger, but there was really only matcha in the foam on top. the foam did have a subtle matcha flavor, but when i mixed it with the jasmine tea, it was hidden because the jasmine was so fragrant. i still really enjoyed this drink though because it tasted lighter and more refreshing. it was a little less sweet than the regular jasmine milk tea - jasmine apple milk tea (4.5/5): at first, i thought it tasted a little too much like artificial apple. i also didn't like that the apple overshadowed the jasmine, but the flavor grew on me a lot. i enjoyed how fruity it was, and i thought it was so unique that i might begin ordering it over the peach tie guan yin - camellia zest (3.5/5): this drink had a very good zesty flavor, with a really good balance of milkiness, floralness, and citrus. i thought there could've been a little camellia flavor though. what bothered me about this drink was that the lemon slices were so big that the pieces of lemon kept getting stuck in the small straw. alternatively, i would get too many chunks of lemon and seeds with the big straw. it was really annoying to drink, but if i had to choose, i would recommending drinking it with the big straw - jasmine mango smoothie (3.5/5): this drink contained very fresh ingredients, but i wish the mango was a little stronger. i could taste the jasmine, but it also wasn't that strong. i thought the drink was actually a bit watery, although i liked that the coconut added some creaminess and coconut flavor. i also enjoyed the level of sweetness and the bits of fruit, especially the grapefruit molly tea was the brand that put me onto milk tea drinks without boba, and now i only order boba 50% of the time. basically expect the drinks to taste like their name implies, but 3x more intensely - the jasmine tea tastes VERY jasmine! i will say that i've had a couple of issues with their drinks tasting watered down before, especially at crowded times, but it's not usually an issue. as of right now, molly tea is still one of my favorite boba teas, even with the stiff competition in the sgv.

I love PokeMix so much. It's so delicious, and I think the portions are very generous. I think people might be getting confused by the large bowl maybe? I've noticed that some Poke places will give you small bowls then fill them up, so it's a little deceiving. I got the medium bowl, which comes with 3 proteins, and found the portion size to be a good amount. I had half rice half veggies, salmon, spicy tuna, and ahi tuna. Let me tell you, their salmon is so freaking good. I found out that their salmon is currently Scottish Salmon, instead of the usual cheaper Atlantic Salmon. I feel like Scottish Salmon literally melts in your mouth. I wish that I didn't get spicy tuna and instead got more salmon! What I really love about PokeMix is how their flavors aren't too strong. Their fish is not covered in overly strong flavors, which I don't like. I have found that places that drench their fish in those types of pastes are trying to hide the low quality, not well taken care of fish. PokeMix is nothing like that. When you look at your fish, you know it's fresh and high quality. The cubes are clearly done by a professional. However, the one thing is their sauces. I personally wouldn't let them put it directly on the poke. I always ask for it in cup on the side so I can dip my salad into it. I come here every time I crave a poke bowl (which is like every single day lol ) because they have so many topping options to choose from, and the fish is always consistent and high-quality. I love my poke bowl really saucy, and they don't hold back on the sauce! Highly recommend! They have one size rice and the difference is just a proteins for each sizes they have but the one size rice is really enough for one person (even then i couldn't finish so i took it home) and the bowl is based on toppings as well so if you get a lot, it will look full, but if you get less then it will look less. Absolutely LOVE this place! The poke is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and customizable with so many delicious toppings and sauces. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The portions are generous, and everything is beautifully presented. As for the boba--wow! The drinks are perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and the boba is always soft and chewy, never mushy or hard. Medium bowl with 3 proteins of shrimp salmon and spicy tuna is my favorite. Service is always excellent and welcoming.
