This has got to be one of Pasadena's medal winner for being in business, in the same space, for more than 15 years (it may be more, but that how long I've been going there :) Needless to say, if you're looking for a great tea drink: flavorful, natural, fresh, and yummy... come here. And if you're feeling hungry, dive into the poke bar. Personally, I love their rice rolls: salmon, spicy tuna, and more. With excellent friendly service and fantastic food, PokeMix is an A+

I'm from Hawaii & this place hits the spot when I'm craving poke. Quick, friendly service, & easy to order. My go-to is the small (2-choice protein) build your own bowl. They have a current Happy Hour special on weekdays from 3-6pm where you get a free drink with any bowl :) They also have a nice & clean restroom for customers.

Sushi was great quality, average price. The pike was also really good quality, the salmon marinade was the perfect blend of spicy and a kick of sweet. LOTS of sides available. Boba slushee was also really good, not overly sweet The staff was super friendly and looked genuinely happy to be doing this, he's gotta be the owner or something. My only suggestion is some sort of music or background noise. Other than that the inside is cute and minimalist. Very clean

I ordered delivery and was really disappointed, especially with the spam rice ball. I was charged $3.99, but look at what I got... I could barely find any spam--just a few tiny pieces, maybe 3-4 micro-sized bits. Definitely not worth it!

I have been craving poke bowls for the last few weeks. I saw PokeMix on Lake Ave in Pasadena and said BINGO! I was hooked. Staff was super friendly. Atmosphere was nice and comfy. Good space with lots of inside seating. Besides poke bowls, they also sell boba drinks. They have a small water station available for customers. They even sell some trinkets or something of the like. Here is how it works... bowl is one size, but the number of scoops of fishes and seafood come in 3 sizes. Small $12.99 = 2 scoops, Medium $14.99 = 3 scoops, Large $16.99 = 4 scoops. An extra scoop is $2 per scoop. Go for the Large! I did and so glad I did... it was very very tasty and delicious! I got half brown rice and half salad as my base plus Ahi Tuna, Salmon, and Scallop with all the wet and dry toppings mixed with House Poke, Eel, and Spicy Miso sauces. I thought I would take some poke home, but I couldn't stop eating it and before I knew it, it was all gone in my tummy LOL. Please note they have limited selection of fishes and toppings, but still adequate for a great poke bowl. Before I left, I was curious about their tea drinks. I ended up getting a medium Green Milk Tea with mango jelly. It was good, but a tad more bitter than I would have preferred. I asked for no ice, but still got ice. No big deal... I just scooped the ice out. I definitely recommend this place. I know I'll be back for more great tasting poke bowl!

Ordered my food ahead for pickup which said 15-25 minute pick up time which isn't bad for mid day in a business area. I placed my order when I was about 15 minutes away walking. I use my lunch break to take a walk outside so picking up the food vs delivery made more sense. My food ended up being ready in 3 minutes which was perfect! My only issue was when I arrived my food was just sitting on the counter instead of in a temperature controlled environment. a little disheartening since the food can spoil rather quickly. Overall the food was great & I would try it again. Next time around I will order in store and hopefully can still avoid any lines.

Delicious poke from a local poke place. Standard topping, protein, and sauce selections. The salmon was nice and tender! Serving size is decent, service is courteous. A little hard to find the drink menu (it's on the counter). Clean, spacious seating with lots of hand sanitizer handy. read more

I've been craving poke bowl for a while now and when I saw this place, I just knew I had to give it a try, and when I tell you this place doesn't disappoint, I MEAN IT! I ordered a medium bowl (half brown rice & mix greens) which includes three scoops of protein (poke salmon, albacore, & spicy tuna) and it cost around $19 after taxes and tip. It looked like a nice size bowl, but there was hardly any rice and protein scoops were small. I agree with yelpers about portion being small compared to other poke places. The fish tasted fresh, but smelled a little fishy. I'm not sure why the bottom of the bowl was wet, maybe because I chose the marinated salmon or there wasn't enough rice. Eating wet rice was not appetizing. For the value, I would skip this poke place. read more

I came in for the first time after seeing them on TikTok and my poke bowl was so good! The staff are so nice and the food is high quality. If you come during happy hour (3-6pm) you can get a free large drink with any size bowl and it's so a good deal for one person. I visited PokeMIX and bought a small bowl. I often go to poke places, but this has to be some of the smallest portion sizes I have ever had. The scoops of fish are more like half scoops compared to everywhere else I've been and the cuts themselves are very small cubes. You can only pick three toppings (including things like sesame seeds and nori). I chose to get masego and you could hardly even see what they put in the bowl bc of how little it was! The fish didn't taste fishy but the marinated tuna was chewy. There was also way too much sauce, but this might have been my fault for adding sauce onto marinated fish (the sauce made a pool at the bottom). Usually I don't leave reviews (especially negative) but I was honestly shocked at the portioning and relative pricing. read more

Whoever wrote in their review that the boba here is on par with the 626 boba really did me dirty because I disagree. I ordered my go to boba drink, which is the Honey Green Tea. The green tea taste is barely there and tasted borderline watered down. The honey isn't very present either. It's what id expect from a 50% sweet honey green tea. I ordered the drink with boba. On the store menu, they offer only boba but on the UberEats app it lists honey boba as an option. I asked if their boba was honey boba, in which the employee replied yes. Well sadly, the boba was NOT marinaded with honey or if it actually was honey boba, I could barely taste it. I will say that the firmness of the boba is actually really fresh and has a great chewiness to it. I am willing to go back and try a milk tea or a fruit tea with lychee jelly though. read more

Small portion under the new management. This place use to be really good but the quality seems to deteriorate ever since they had a new management. Good place to grab a quick bite. Came here on a Monday around 2. I love this place! sizing is based off of how many scoops of protein. Medium is a good size. You get to mix and match as well. Because the fish is out all the time, don't expect it to taste great like a real sushi restaurant. Salmon and tuna are best bang for your buck and the sauce does mask the fish flavor. Could be a good thing or a bad thing. read more

The poke bowls are amazing, and I love how I can come by for a light snack, a full meal, or just a cup of fresh tea. Found the cutest poke place in Pasadena! Was headed to my salon appointment and randomly yelped a poke place to grab a quick bite. Found this cute place and so glad I did! Ordeded the two large Love Potion drinks: strawberry, passionfruit, white peach tea, and it was so refreshing and delicious! Perfect level of sweet without any adjustment. The large size drink was $5ish which is reasonable price these days for tea. Ordered a medium size poke bowl ($14) and they gave generous amount of protein which I got all salmon and many of the toppings. Poke was very fresh and delicious! I got lucky with street parkings. Parking in Pasadena is always a challenge but if you come timely there are plenty of street parkings. Highly recommend to check out their tea options and fresh poke. They have seatings inside too. Feels very clean and comfortable inside. Fun fact: the two gentlemen that worked there I think they're owners. They're twin brothers!! Nice guys read more

I picked the Lau Lau for an extra $1.99. We were told that the pancakes would take a while, maybe around 30 minutes, but my daughters still wanted them because they order them every time we visit. I originally thought only the pancakes would take longer, but all of our food took quite a while. The Spam Musubi finally arrived around 1:35 PM, the plate lunch came about 10 minutes later, and the pancakes were finally served at 1:50 PM. By then, we were starving, so everything tasted delicious. We just wished the vegetables were cooked a little softer since the broccoli was still quite hard. I've dealt with Christian, Gabriel and Abraham and all three are knowledgeable and helpful. Great taste, texture, and just the right spices to give it a little kick. The rice and noodles were a perfect accompaniment. All the sauces I was given added to the flavor of all the dishes. At the cash register at the front counter I paid for my items and asked about other items coming in in the near future. I found out that they are not always sure what's going to become available but always looking for something that will make their customers happy. This is truly a family establishment. I found out that everybody there is related. They definitely give exceptional service and quality merchandise, and delicious food. I look forward to coming back and trying many other items both in their market area as well as the Deli.

I love PokeMix so much. It's so delicious, and I think the portions are very generous. I think people might be getting confused by the large bowl maybe? I've noticed that some Poke places will give you small bowls then fill them up, so it's a little deceiving. I got the medium bowl, which comes with 3 proteins, and found the portion size to be a good amount. I had half rice half veggies, salmon, spicy tuna, and ahi tuna. Let me tell you, their salmon is so freaking good. I found out that their salmon is currently Scottish Salmon, instead of the usual cheaper Atlantic Salmon. I feel like Scottish Salmon literally melts in your mouth. I wish that I didn't get spicy tuna and instead got more salmon! What I really love about PokeMix is how their flavors aren't too strong. Their fish is not covered in overly strong flavors, which I don't like. I have found that places that drench their fish in those types of pastes are trying to hide the low quality, not well taken care of fish. PokeMix is nothing like that. When you look at your fish, you know it's fresh and high quality. The cubes are clearly done by a professional. However, the one thing is their sauces. I personally wouldn't let them put it directly on the poke. I always ask for it in cup on the side so I can dip my salad into it. I come here every time I crave a poke bowl (which is like every single day lol ) because they have so many topping options to choose from, and the fish is always consistent and high-quality. I love my poke bowl really saucy, and they don't hold back on the sauce! Highly recommend! They have one size rice and the difference is just a proteins for each sizes they have but the one size rice is really enough for one person (even then i couldn't finish so i took it home) and the bowl is based on toppings as well so if you get a lot, it will look full, but if you get less then it will look less. Absolutely LOVE this place! The poke is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and customizable with so many delicious toppings and sauces. You can really taste the quality in every bite. I really like this place. The food is fresh and very healthy! The main difference here is they don't drench your bowl in crazy sauce concoctions. Medium bowl with 3 proteins of shrimp salmon and spicy tuna is my favorite. Service is always excellent and welcoming.
