Beef and Chicken Bowl
Travis P.

I occasionally order from here, and it's always been pretty good. I think they increased the portions since the last time I came. They changed a two-scoop fish bowl into a full box which was pretty large. I loaded up on every topping, and they were quite generous with the portions. For the price, both the quality and quantity exceeded my expectations. Overall, it's a great spot to grab poke.

Food was amazing and service was 10/10! Ask for Lin or David! They're awesome. I will definitely be coming back :^)

I come here for lunch pretty often and the food is always fresh. Staff is helpful and friendly. The only downside is the price but I understand everything is expensive nowadays. But a solid place for poke.

Love how generous the portions are and how affordable this poke spot is! Don't underestimate the small size ($13.95) since it comes with 2 scoops of protein (10 different kinds) and unlimited sauces and toppings. Medium size comes with 3 scoops of protein and is only $15.95 and Large size comes with 4 scoops of protein and is $17.95! Ordering is easy. There are 4 stations. - 1st station: pick a bowl size and a base (white/brown rice, salad, or half/half) - 2nd station: pick your protein - 3rd station: pick your sauces (8 options) - 4th station: pick your toppings (10+ options) Service was ok and fast! Really enjoyed how fresh the salmon was (I got 2 scoops of it!) and how much salmon they gave me! The salad was very fresh and the brown rice was delicious!

Large portions of fish and toppings! I was in the area and scrolling on Yelp when I stumbled on Poki Bomb. It's located off the 10 Fwy on Flair Dr next to the Tofu Cafe. Parking was easy to find! They have a few spot right in front of their storefront and it wasn't hard to find parking since I did come an hour before closing. Walking in, you're greeted with the menu options and prices displayed on the TV right above the counter. Everything is customizable when it comes to your base, fish, toppings, and sauces. I purchased a small (2 scoops of protein), brown rice, regular imitation crab meat, eel sauce and non spicy house sauce. They have a wide range of toppings available and everything tasted very fresh. I hate the fishy taste in poke but this place didn't have that at all. There's a fair amount of fish and the toppings you add can help make you more full! The total for my entire meal was $~17 which is not too bad considering the sizes. Definitely will be coming back!

Best poke in the area must try always nice servings and service.

Spicy Hawaiian tuna. So good. Just like in Hawaii.

I drove out of my way to try the Hawaiian spicy Tuna because it's very rare from what I have seen to have this on the menu. And I must say I wasn't disappointed. This poke is so good and flavorful. Very fresh. Huge portion. I paid extra for avocado like everywhere and I swear they gave me half the avocado. Not the thin slices you get everywhere else. The restaurant is clean and smells good. The gentleman helping me was super nice and helpful. Lots of parking available. They also have pickled radishes yummy!! I will most definitely be back to get my poke fix! All around 5+ stars!

Medium (3 scoops) it seriously felt like a pound of food!!! They hook it up and it's soooo good

Oh my goodness this poke place is BOMB!!! Their name don't disappoint!!! Their selection of poke is special because they have the normal stuff (salmon, tuna, shrimp, albacore, scallops, etc) but they ALSO have shoyu salmon and Hawaiian spicy tuna!!! Get these they're really good. Their miso garlic sauce is also good. The best part is they HOOK IT UP. These workers were well deserving of their tip :) My new favorite poke spot!!!

The food is great! I come here a lot, I favorite Poki restaurant.

The food is great! I will come back often. The ingredients are fresh, the portions are generous, and the flavors are well balanced. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. Highly recommend this place!

Probably the best poki spot. They have all the classics along with some that I have never seen before. They give very generous portions at this spot and the price point is perfect. The food is always colorful and fresh. The staff here is friendly and helpful. When it was my first time coming here I was totally lost but the workers here definitely helped and explained. The ambiance here there is a lot of room and they always have good music playing here. It's clean and open fountain drink. Thanks poki bomb for the great service always !

Poke bowl with 3 scoop protein

If you're craving poke, this is the place to be. We have been coming to this restaurant over the past few years and I would say this is our go to poke place. Located in a plaza next to a bunch of corporate buildings may make it a little harder to get to, but once you get there, it is well worth it. There is also plenty of parking within the plaza. We usually get the poke bowl with three scoops of protein. In the past, these poke bowls were prepared in a plastic bowl with all of the ingredients packed together. There was nothing wrong with that, as they were always very generous with their portions. However, I noticed that they now prepare their poke bowls in a box. I'm sure the portions are still the same, but since it's in a box now, it looks like there is a bit more. For my three scoop protein, I got two scoops of salmon and one scoop of spicy tuna with white rice. You can select up to eight sauces and 17 toppings. . For a sauces, I got ponzu, eel, spicy, spicy mayo, sesame mayo, and sesame oil. For toppings, I got cucumber, edamame, imitation crap, seaweed salad, green onions, corn, fried onions, wasabi, jalapeño, shishimi (Japanese chili spice), sesame seed, and furikake (seaweed flakes). My wife got two scoops of salmon and one scoop of spicy Hawaiian tuna with brown rice. The spicy Hawaiian tuna had extra flavor and was very delicious, as it reminded me of the poke from Foodlands in Hawaii. For sauces, my wife got ponzu, eel, as spicy mayo. For toppings, she got cucumber, edamame, imitation crab, ginger, seaweed salad, corn, wasabi, masago (fish eggs), and furikake. As you can tell from both of our orders, you have a lot of options to customize your bowl to your liking. We both enjoyed our bowls very much and we would definitely return!

Three Poki Bowl with 3 Scoops Protein and Thai Tea
Cyl C.

Date of Visit: January 15, 2025 Selections: Poki Bowl with 3 Scoops Protein Can of Thai Tea Experience: I have been here before, but a long time ago, so I was glad it was still here since the food options were slim after walking through the small plaza. I came in before the food rush, so I didn't have much time to mentally prepare myself to order cause poki places usually have so many options to pick from and I get overwhelmed. The staff member helping me seemed like he was in a rush to get through my order, but slowed down his pace once he realized I needed to process my options. I ended up doing a medium size poki bowl, which comes with three scoops of protein with half/half of brown rice and salad. I really did wish that they had more spicy options for protein, but ended up getting the salmon, shrimp, and shoyu salmon. The toppings were pretty slim to pick from too, but I ended up asking for spicy mayo, spicy imitation crab, edamame, green onions, pickled radish, ginger, tempura pieces, and fried onion pieces. Then I grabbed a can of Thai tea from their fridge. The food was good and I kind of wished I did two proteins instead since it was a lot of food. I definitely would choose to stick to just rice since I wasn't a big fan of the mixed greens for the salad part and would also ask for more sauce as well.

I tried the medium poke bowl, it comes with 2 proteins and several sides. Food was good Service was good. There's lots of seating inside. Lots of parking available!

I order two scoops, one was salmon & the other was tuna lava w/ half salad, half kelp noodles, though the kelp noodles did not taste fresh to me, something in my bowl had an old taste unfortunately. The Tuna Lava flavor had a mexican taco flavor twist which wasnt something I was expecting, I dont know if I enjoyed it in my poke but it was okay. Salmon was good, I enjoyed the wasabi lime sauce they offered. I came on a Wednesday afternoon and they had plenty of seating, not too packed. Place was clean and bright. Not the best poke I have had, but not the worst.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for Tokyo Central yet, though I've stopped by here…read moredozens of times - my go to is their sushi tray options! They have the BEST tasting salmon sushi/sashimi all around, at this price point, even better salmon quality compared to nearby sushi restaurants in my opinion. (Our Japanese native friend also agrees.) Best part is - 20% off after 7 pm!!!! But the trays get snatched up quickly. Too bad I'm not around the area at that time, otherwise I'd make Tokyo Central my weekly run for dinner. Their Kimchi Tako Poke is another regular we get, it's so good. However, recently, the only option I saw was the Shoyu Tako Poke - and I didn't like this version one bit - too hard and the flavor is not to my liking. Will never get it again. The hot food area has quite a decent selection, priced and weight by the pound, self-served. Often around 3-4pm, you may see 20% discounted packaged hot food placed out, whatever that's leftover from the lunch rush hour. Tried it a few times, but felt most of the food is heavily dosed in MSG, so I'd be selective on what I get. They also have sashimi party trays which require pre-order. Great pricing for the quality and convenience. Overall, love their sushi selection, and it's a regular stop for us. As for the market itself, there's not as much to buy, and pricing is on the higher end. However, they have a larger selection of some products that I can't find elsewhere, and sometimes their advertised specials are decently priced.

I got lucky to catch them 30 minutes before they closed at 8:00 PM. Pretty clean place with bar stool seating along the left wall. All gender restroom is in the back. Build your own poke bowl. Small (2 scoops), medium (3 scoops), and large (5 scoops) sizes ranging from $16+, $18+, 20+ per bowl, respectively. Protein consists of salmon, tuna, albacore, octopus, scallops, shrimp, tofu, etc. Toppings vary from edamame, corn, pineapple, red onion, cucumber, seaweed, sesame seeds, furikake, fried garlic, and shallots. Base comes in white sushi rice, organic brown rice, salad, or half & half. Got two large poke bowls with salmon and all the toppings. Avocados cost extra. Love the big chunks of fresh salmon! Scoops could be a tad larger. Please note extra toppings will cost extra money. Each bowl comes with a max of 3 sauces... got Dynamite, Spicy Garlic, and Sweet Unagi. They were very flavorful sauces especially when combined together. I would get a large poke bowl with all 3 of the same sauces again. Lady staff members were friendly and nice. Prices was on the higher end compared to other poke places. Nevertheless, tasty, fresh and healthy poke bowl is a win win win in my book. Po'ki Bar delivered. Highly recommend!! A while ago, they had a citrus sauce, but sadly discontinued it. I'm hoping one day they bring it back because it was my favorite! Although the quality of their poke has been consistent through all the years, their prices have gone up significantly compared to other poke places in the area. A small bowl runs you about $18 - $20 now, depending on if you pay for the extra avocado. Their poke is still delicious, but Poki Bar has been out of the rotation for me due to the increase in price compared to the average poke shops nearby.

Ambiance alone inside is reminiscent of hanging out at boba shops growing up in the SGV: bright interior, booths and board games, Pokemon and Shrek playing on the TV such a nice vibe to chill with some friends and chat. Most shops nowadays are grab and go so this felt very nostalgic for me. Now for the real hitters: I still am unable to understand how they can serve this food at this price. Beef Wang (16.48) is one of their signature dishes. It sounds really simple on paper, stir fried meat, mushroom, and egg. That's it. I am still wondering how they were able to get such a flavorful bowl from a simple dish and on a perfectly cooked bed of way too much rice so you can enjoy leftovers at home. Super Sea Nachos (35): Our party of 5 ordered our own bowls and shared this thinning it was going to be a simple appetizer. The avocado alone we joked shoulda been 35 . An assembly of tuna, shrimp, imitation crab, with wonton nachos was the perfect fresh accompaniment with the rice bowl. They do not skimp at all on the nachos or seafood and no doubt I'd share another tray with friends another day. They are not the most extravagant dishes, but honestly the quality, comfort, ambience, and value makes this one of my favorite sit down experiences recently.
