I got lucky to catch them 30 minutes before they closed at 8:00 PM. Pretty clean place with bar stool seating along the left wall. All gender restroom is in the back. Build your own poke bowl. Small (2 scoops), medium (3 scoops), and large (5 scoops) sizes ranging from $16+, $18+, 20+ per bowl, respectively. Protein consists of salmon, tuna, albacore, octopus, scallops, shrimp, tofu, etc. Toppings vary from edamame, corn, pineapple, red onion, cucumber, seaweed, sesame seeds, furikake, fried garlic, and shallots. Base comes in white sushi rice, organic brown rice, salad, or half & half. Got two large poke bowls with salmon and all the toppings. Avocados cost extra. Love the big chunks of fresh salmon! Scoops could be a tad larger. Please note extra toppings will cost extra money. Each bowl comes with a max of 3 sauces... got Dynamite, Spicy Garlic, and Sweet Unagi. They were very flavorful sauces especially when combined together. I would get a large poke bowl with all 3 of the same sauces again. Lady staff members were friendly and nice. Prices was on the higher end compared to other poke places. Nevertheless, tasty, fresh and healthy poke bowl is a win win win in my book. Po'ki Bar delivered. Highly recommend!! I've been coming to Poki Bar for a few years now and have always had a pleasant experience. Whether ordering online or in person, the staff has always been very helpful and attentive, even during rushes. Their topping selection has a good variety, with all your standard poke toppings. I can't complain! The sauce selection is also pretty standard, my usuals being their house shoyu and sesame. A while ago, they had a citrus sauce, but sadly discontinued it. I'm hoping one day they bring it back because it was my favorite! Although the quality of their poke has been consistent through all the years, their prices have gone up significantly compared to other poke places in the area. A small bowl runs you about $18 - $20 now, depending on if you pay for the extra avocado. I recently ordered 2 bowls from here through Uber Eats, right away the second bowl I noticed was missing. Talked to the delivery man and he said that was all the lady handed him. I tried calling the place to see if my other bowl was there so I can go pick it up but not only do they not pick up it also got forwarded saying no voicemail was setup. When calling the other location (Duarte) who is near to see if there is a number to reach since they are connected they picked up said hello then left the phone and didn't say a word after still clearly on the line . This was honestly the worst poke experience I've ever had. The portions were small, the fish didn't taste fresh, and the dry toppings were stale instead of crunchy. On top of that, they don't provide free water--which should be a basic courtesy and part of the cost of doing business. There was a good amount of protein in my bowl. The tuna was chewy, and the salmon was tasty! The dynamite sauce gave a nice mild kick to my tastebuds, and I loved how the sweet eel sauce balanced it out. I also got the eel sauce on my rice, and I loved it! The condiments tasted fresh and delicious. I enjoyed the corn and the seaweed salad the most. Overall, a solid bowl! I thought that the crab meat had an incredibly mushy consistency to it. I was looking forward to the crab meat because I love it, which was a bit disappointing. I also wish less sauce was used, but I didn't mind that much because it was still pretty tasty.
