Sushi Rolland is near the entrance of Blossom Market Hall

Sushi is delicious here and always fresh - this is our fave spot in Blossom Market Hall! Great quality food, friendly service, and decent prices given the portion sizes and quality. I've tried the Dragon Roll and the Tiger Roll and loved them both. The Tiger Roll has plain cooked shrimp, shrimp tempura, crab and cucumber with a lovely mix of sauces over the top. The Dragon Roll has spicy salmon, shrimp tempura, crab, cucumber and onion also with delectable sauces on top. The Dragon Roll was the winner for sure - the spicy salmon on top was some of the best I've had - not surprised it's one of their best sellers. Their rolls are quite large - more than enough for one person per roll and the prices are very decent. Their combos are pretty huge and an excellent bargain. We got my FIL a combo C and a Blossom Roll to go on our last visit - I was impressed by the presentation and he loved them both. Will have to try one next time! Service was efficient and very welcoming. Order at the counter and they'll give you a buzzer. The vibe in the market hall is lively and inviting - with lots of seating options and promising dessert choices once you've finished your dinner. Sushi Rolland is right inside the main entrance and there's plenty of free parking on site.

Really high quality sushi and solid prices! Sushi Rolland is tucked inside of the San Gabriel food market hall serving up really great sushi. The staff was super sweet, and everything wss just excellent. There spicy tuna actually has a kick which is very appreciated in the world of really just average spicy tuna. Have a good variety of combos; would love to come back and try their unagi over rice! Will be back!

situated in blossom market hall. it's the only japanese cuisine stand there. the prices have gone up by about $1-2 a roll. the flavors are good but the portion sizes are small. customer service is a hit or miss depending on who you talk to. they have apple pay and a touch screen self order kiosk.

The market is very well laid out and the vibes are great here. I tried the "combo C" which had salmon sashimi, nigiri + tempura etc picture below. The food here is amazing I highly recommend it as a seafood/sushi lover the quality is A+++ for the price. The salmon especially was my favorite it was buttery and rich in fat. Service was perfect and I left full and happy. You get a combination of rolls, tempura, salad, nigiri & sashimi. If you are a sushi lover, i recommend Sushi Rolland. 10/10 will come back and try the other rolls

Everything was incredibly fresh, beautifully plated and really tasty. The combo has everything that I craved. The service is nice, definitely come again to try different menus.

Hands down my FAVORITE sushi place!! I come back every time I'm home from college. The rolls are so affordable and delicious, everything is so fresh and the crunchy roll being under $10 in this economy while being THAT good is unheard of. The service is super quick and the owners/workers are very kind. Seating inside blossom market is great as well. Anyway you MUST try the rolls (I cannot say the same for the combos tho). This is one of my family's favorite sushi places too, especially my grandma!

Came here for dinner and ordered the Combo B meal set. The sushi tasted very fresh and delicious, and the portions were generous for the price. Overall, great value and a solid spot if you want great-quality sushi without overspending.

For like a quick, easy, sushi takeout, this spot was surprisingly very good. Located inside the blossom market hall and plenty of parking available. We ordered combo b and c. I did see him putting the shrimp tempura in the air fryer though. I still loved every single piece regardless. Would come back again for sure!

Stopped by here because my boyfriend was craving sushi, so he decided to go with their bento box. The spot itself is cute and dainty, located right at the corner when you enter Blossom Market from the back parking lot. They have a good variety of options and some great deals on their bento boxes, which is a plus! As for the food, it was decent but had some minor drawbacks. The tempura had a bit too much batter for my liking, and the unagi was a little tough to bite into. The sushi itself was okay--on the saucier side, which felt a bit heavy. Nothing particularly stood out, but for the price, the portions were fair, and it's a decent option if you're looking for an affordable sushi combo that gets the job done. Would I go out of my way for it? Probably not. But if you're in the area and want a quick and reasonably priced sushi fix, it's worth checking out.

    Combo A, miso soup

I've been here a few times now, and honestly? I'm impressed. Every single time I ordered, the food quality has been consistent and so fresh. The salmon is definitely my favorite, I'd highly recommend getting anything with their fresh salmon. So far, I've tried their salmon delight, blossom roll, crunch roll, salmon avocado combo and Combos A and C. Combo A, with a side of miso soup, is definitely my favorite, it's my go to. If you want to try different things, not just one roll, it's definitely an experience for your palette. I'm the type of person who gets tired of eating the same type of food in one sitting, so the combo plates are a perfect meal for me. For the price and quality, honestly, this is a hidden gem. Also the owners are really sweet, the lady always greets me nicely at the cash register when I want to order. I'd recommend for those looking for a good sushi spot!

    Spicy tuna roll

Reasonable prices, short wait time, portion came with lots of fish. I tried the spicy tuna roll, spicy raw minced tuna in a roll with cucumber topped with a generous portion of spicy raw tuna. A little too spicy and heavy on sauces for me, but fish was fresh and the portions were amazing! I study upstairs often and this is a yummy filling meal.

They have a lot of tables inside so it is great for small and large groups. The waiters were also fast even though they were busy. We ordered their Kung Pao Chicken, Fried Tofu, Beef Noodle, Shrimp w Walnut, and Vegetable w Garlic. We decided not to get lobster since it was pricey. They took our order pretty fast and gave tea to drink. The pot of white rice is extra $1 if you order though. And their menu book doesn't have prices for some reason. Only the to-go menu has prices. Food was served in a decent amount of time, around 15 minutes. And all dishes arrived close together so we didn't have to wait long. The kung pao chicken is so good! Not spicy at all and very nice and crispy with good seasoning. It tasted delicious with some rice. The beef noodles were also delicious! It had good wok taste and was very flavorful. The tofu and shrimp were also good. None of the dishes were too salty and all were seasoned well and in pretty big portions, though I don't remember the exact price since they took the receipt away when we paid. But the meal was very worth and we had leftovers for lunch the next day. Such a yummy meal! I really enjoyed it! I am definitely coming back again!

I thought maybe they were the same restaurant, but they are not. Although they both serve similar bold and delicious Vietnamese dishes. It is located in a small plaza called San Gabriel Gateway. Love the quaint Asian street hanging billboard decor! We sat the bench. Staff was welcoming and greeted us right away. They were quite attentive when we needed something during our dining. Thank you All! Menu was huge! Quite a variety of different protein dishes. Prices were average especially for seafood. I am a big seafood fan so my eyes were on them mostly. I wanted to try all their best sellers. I may have missed a few, but we got 11 dishes total which I was very pleased with for the most part. We chowdowned like champs LOL. 31. Razor Clams Grilled with Scallion Oil - First time trying razor clams. An interesting dish, but nothing that says WOW. Taste was fine. 33. Scallops with Quail Eggs - A best seller indeed! Came out on a sizzling plate. PERFECT in its colorful presentation and flavorful taste! Caution when hot. 43. Grilled Squid with Chili Salt - One big squid all sliced up! Love the grilled taste, but squid itself was a bit chewy. 57. Sea Snails in Coconut Milk - Coconut milk was smooth and creamy. Slightly disappointed on the small snail size. Not much meat. Will try another snail dish next time. 65. Charcoal-Grilled Beef - I didn't try it because I don't eat beef anymore. My daughters loved it though. Tender and wonderfully marinated beef slices. YUM! 67. Stir-Fried Glass Noodles with Crab Meat - Similar to the fried rice version, but just with glass noodles. Good, but rice was better. 76. Hong Kong-Style Salt & Pepper Chicken Cartilage - I'm not a fan of chicken cartilage, but salt & pepper seasoning was well balanced. 88. Fried Chicken Gizzards with Garlic - Gizzards were a bit tough. Entire sizzling plate was a tad salty. Wont' get again. 94. Fried Rice with Crab Meat - Quite flavorful and tasty! Perfectly woked and seasoned. A MUST GET! 101. Mango and Squid Salad - One of the best dishes! SO DELICIOUSLY GOOD!! Green mango strips were crisp and crunchy. Squid was tender. Very fresh and good quality salad! 115. We were seated right away when we arrived, although it took a while before anyone came to take our order. We started with the sizzling razor clams, and honestly, they were the highlight of the meal, perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and a great start. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue, and it really missed the mark. Several ingredients felt poorly prepared. The tendon was so tough it was basically inedible and had to be pushed aside. The pork blood tasted like it had been cooked separately since it had none of the broth flavor soaked into it. Even the beef slices felt out of place, almost like they had been pulled from a pho bowl and dropped into the BBH at the last minute. The broth itself lacked the richness, spice, and strong lemongrass flavor that normally makes Bun Bo Hue stand out. It just tasted flat. There was also a mix-up with our order when the wrong dish came out instead of the lobster. When the lobster finally arrived, it was badly overcooked and much smaller than what was shown on the menu. On top of that, the music was blasting the entire time, no one really checked in to see how things were going, and it took multiple attempts just to get our check. When we mentioned the food issues, the response was basically, "We'll let the chef know." Not exactly the kind of service you hope for after a disappointing meal. Really wanted to like this place, especially after such a strong start with the razor clams, but overall it ended up being a letdown.

Of all the Vietnamese sour soups we've had, this place was the best. It is like a savory version of a lemonade, where the sourness and sweetness is extremely intense, but perfectly balanced. I've tasted all sort items from this restaurant, from quail, to frogs, to snails, to cat fish, and everything has been executed to maximize the taste of the ingredient and sauce. Fish dishes would first be soft, flakely, moist, buttery, and then after the textures, you get hit with the intensities of the sauces. In French cuisine, sauce is king, and Vietnamese food is often times a blend of native and French techniques. This place's food quality punches well beyond it's patronage. I'm frankly surprised how empty this place is, and often times, I avoid writing reviews for my FAVORITE places, because after a review from me, the place gets crazy crowded and the prices go up. Unfortunately, this review is written post mortem. I do hope that this place can re-open someday. Until then, this place has set the bar for me, for all Vietnamese restaurants going forward. Will miss this place.

We ordered the clams, baked catfish, lotus root salad and the goat tenderloin. All the food here is absolutely delicious. The baked catfish is tender, buttery and flavorful. The baked catfish came with rice paper and veggies to wrap the fish in. The clams and lotus root salad were well seasoned and tasted fresh. The goat tenderloin was super tender and flavorful. Not too gamey either. Service was excellent. Our servers were extremely attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. There is plenty of seating in the restaurant but we made a reservation for the catfish to make sure that we had the chance to try it before they sold out. Going to miss this place!

We were greeted right as we entered and given menus. There were already a couple of tables already enjoying their meals. Plates, napkins, utensils came right after. Even brought plastic fork and spoon for my 7 year old. We received tea after that. We ordered white rice for 2 people (it was enough for a total of 4 people cuz we had left overs for dinner and lunch the next morning). We also got a 2.4 lb lobster cooked in butter sauce on a bed of noodles (noodles were extra charge). We ordered the walnut shrimp, kung pao chicken, and Mongolian beef. Plates came out relatively close to one a other, which made it nice. I like to have everything in front of me when I eat so I can get a bit of this and a bit of that. The lobster and noodles came out last. Everything was delicious. We loved the lobster and noodles best. So much flavor and the noodles underneath the lobster just soaked up all the buttery, salty, kick of spice flavor. As we dined, many groups came in and the restaurant was bustling. Good thing we came at the right time. We had enough left overs for a total of 4 more meals at home. Would definitely come back for more and would definitely recommend this place.

My friend and I were mid-meal when two staff members bussed nearby tables. While clearing leftover dishes, soup and food splatters splashed directly onto my face. I attempted to flag them down to ask them to work more carefully, yet they immediately wheeled their cart away without a single apology. We are both quiet, reserved people and chose not to chase them down at that moment. Later, nearly finished with our meal, we realized two skewers of chicken bone-in skewers we ordered had never arrived. We waved repeatedly to grab servers' attention, but one kept wiping the fridge, while two others stood chatting at the front counter and completely ignored all diners. When we finally caught one server, he did not check the kitchen at all and simply claimed our skewers were still being grilled. We waited another 20 minutes with no sign of our food, then stopped a different staff member to follow up--they vanished and never returned to update us. Another full 20 minutes passed before the skewers finally showed up. It is completely unreasonable for simple grilled skewers to take 40 minutes to prepare, especially when the restaurant was far from busy. The checkout process was the most frustrating part of our visit. We waved multiple times requesting our bill; two servers clearly saw us. A female staff told her male coworker to print checks for our table and the table in front of us, but he only delivered the bill to the other party and left ours unattended for ages. We even submitted a checkout request via their online ordering page and waved again to signal we were ready to pay. The front desk staff only gave us an OK hand gesture but took zero action. We were continuously overlooked for no apparent reason, while all staff stood around idle with no sense of urgency to assist guests. Fed up with waiting indefinitely, we walked over to the front counter to pay ourselves. As we approached, the staff tried to duck off to the kitchen or start random cleaning tasks to avoid handling our payment. The entire team lacks basic customer service training and common courtesy. The consistent disregard for diners, careless table bussing, massive food delays, and negligent checkout handling make this place not worth your time or money. Save yourself the hassle and pick a different spot.
