I walked in when they just opened and was immediately seated, greeted, and had my beverage very quickly. The food was really good but for the amount and price it's on the pricier side. I am normally a large eater but I did have to go somewhere else to grab a small bite. They had a lot of parking on the street so I chose that instead of the large parking lots they have.
Parking - the parking is not bad to be honest, there's one side where it's just crazy packed but if you go to the otherside there's plenty of parking. This place is also kind of hidden in plain sight. It's facing the street kind of hidden in between other restaurants. So it took my friend and I a while to find it. Not sure if any one else had this trouble or just us So the inside of the restaurant is pretty small and to be honest we were sat right in the middle in front of the door. It was a cold night and there was this kid who kept playing with the door that night so it was FREEZING. Parents please control your kids. Anyway, onto the food! The sushi quality is pretty good! I think there is only like one chef preparing the food, which is why it takes so long (I was a little skeptical coming here because of the reviews stating the wait times; but I am glad I gave it a chance). Overall I had a good experience and would definitely come again!!
If this place was closer, I'd be broke!!! I would keep coming over and over just for that uni and uni pasta! The uni MELTS in your mouth and they're BIG, they taste SO SO SO good I'm not even joking. Out of all sushi places I've been to, this has outranked all of them in their uni game. Their uni pasta brought out the uni flavor so beautifully it felt like harmony, I mean LOOK AT IT, it's so so good I hope everyone gets to try this at some point. We also had the soft shell crab hand roll which was so yummy, they'll tell you to eat that one first to preserve that seaweed crunch. Additionally, their service was amazing! They were so sweet and accommodating I was shocked. They are kind of hidden, you wouldn't know until you purposefully search the place up, it's located on a main street where it's a restaurant on the side of the road. The inside is small and cozy kind of like you found a hidden gem. So yes, I'd come back all the time if I could. Bonus point is that Molly Tea is literally 5-6 minutes away from there. They also gave us this salmon sashimi dish at the end to try, what is it? It's so good and flavorful, it's something with truffle?? I have no idea but my mom and I were stunned that they hit us with that beautiful dish before we left, if we weren't full we'd order that again! 100000/10!!!

Over time, I've seen menu changes and small adjustments, but what has remained constant is their quality and execution. The menu offers a wide range, and while I personally don't gravitate toward cream cheese-heavy or overly fried items, even those dishes are done exceptionally well. Standouts for me: * Uni pasta & mushroom pasta - rich, creamy, and indulgent (the uni is not for those who prefer lighter flavors) With recent changes, their pasta doesn't have as much sauce anymore, but it's still good either way * Truffle salmon roll - balanced, flavorful, and memorable * Sakura roll & sea scallop roll - consistently well-executed And don't even get me started on their sashimi. I tried the special boat recently and everything literally melts in your mouth. My all-time favorite is bluefin tuna. I will order anything tuna every single time. So. good. There are honestly so many more things I love that I can't even name off the top of my head. Service: Attentive and efficient. Ambiance: Really nice warm, cozy, and a great spot to just sit and enjoy your food. Wait time: Food can take a bit to come out, but it's honestly worth it because the quality is always there. Parking: Generally manageable depending on timing I've always found parking no matter what time tho I might be a little biased because I love this place, but it really beats a lot of other sushi spots I've tried. Still have more menu items to get through... so I'll definitely keep coming back. (I will always come back)
Delicious and fresh cuts of sushi with flavorful rolls! My boyfriend and I were desperately craving sushi, nigiri specifically and stumbled upon the platter options Sen Sushi offers. We ordered the Deluxe Sushi Platter for pickup and were not disappointed at all. The sushi was fresh and the portions were very good--the salmon and tuna sashimi cuts were especially generous. The rolls were also tasty! In my opinion, the platter is an appropriate serving for 2-3 people to get full off of. The platter is well-packaged and includes a cold pack to keep the sushi fresh during on drive home which I really appreciated in this warm weather. Sen Sushi is located on the strip of Valley Blvd between several busy plazas. Parking can be found on the curb or in a neighboring plaza lot with a short walk. So great location! Most definitely recommend this place and will be coming back for more next time I'm in the area!
Came here Monday afternoon at 3:20, not sure if there is still the Lunch Special going on but when we arrived the server said that they didn't have it anymore, but it was still on the menu. Empty when we got there and food came out quick! Uni Pasta 7.5/10- creamy but on the lighter side, a little oily, but good to have as filler Chirashi Bowl 10/10- WOW i was very surprised by the thick high quality sashimi cuts, 2 pieces of Bluefin? Tuna, 5 pieces of yellowtail, and 5 pieces of salmon. Rice on the bottom was seasoned with sugar vinegar and furikake was so addicting to eat everything! Maki Rolls 8/10- 6 pieces in a roll, satisfied my cravings, the cuts in the chirashi bowl tasted better but these are still very good! Overall meal was great but I felt off put by the Lunch Special not being offered? Everything pretty reasonably priced, would come again if I wanted higher quality sushi at a sit down spot. Plenty of parking in both lots.
Plenty of parking in the parking lot! Food is super fresh and yummy! We got the Salmon Roll, California Roll, and not pictured but the Soft Shell Crab Tempura Roll. Out of all the rolls, my favorite was the Salmon roll! The salmon was so buttery soft! Wow it was so good! Service was fast and friendly! Will definitely return again!
Sen Sushi is 100% our go to sushi spot in the 626. Fish is always fresh and service is always top notch. Husbands go-to sashimi is the oyster, uni, yellow tail, salmon and tuna. We also ordered the fried squid to try but kiddos ended up devouring it. Would also recommend the garlic Brussels sprouts, It was flavorful and also had a nice crunch. Love coming here, food is amazing, never disappoints.
Tried this spot the other night and liked it. The fried yellow croaker was crispy and not oily, and the fish stayed tender inside. Kumamoto oysters were fresh and clean tasting. The uni pasta was creamy but not too heavy. Sushi was solid overall -- the eel and sweet shrimp stood out, and the rolls were put together well. They also have a sake list, so it's a nice place to grab a drink and hang out a bit.
Their lunch special menu (available Mon - Fri until 3:30 pm) had drew me in for a Monday lunch, but since it was Veterans Day, they said holidays do not apply, even though that's not mentioned anywhere on the menu. Alas, I did not get to try my intended order of the uni pasta with spicy tuna roll and black tea. Instead, I got their non-deluxe uni pasta ($14.99) and the blue crab hand roll ($7.25). I'm assuming the cream in the pasta is made of uni as the non-deluxe version has no piece of uni at all. There is some roe in the pasta, along with seaweed and garnish. Pasta is a good size for lunch, as I had no leftovers to take home. I was surprised that the blue crab hand roll had very minimal mayo, so yay! Lots of blue crab in the roll, just be careful taking it out of the stand as several pieces started tumbling off the roll when I was lifting it. Service was okay. Seems like our server was more lively and conversational with the other guests, but maybe it's a language thing. There's two parking lots supporting this plaza so not too hard to find a spot.
It was empty when we came during the afternoon on a weekday. The entrance is right on the busy block of valley blvd but there's street parking available and plaza parking a couple of establishments away. Make a right from golden delight and a whole bunch of parking there. The food tasted pretty fresh and delicious. It's pretty hard to find good sushi spots in this area imo. Price is reasonable also!
Strange they don't have cooked/baked rolls. All include raw/fresh fish. All taste really good though, but we couldn't order our beloved baked salmon :( The lunch special is about 20 bucks. Got the uni pasta, salmon roll, and black tea. Not a bad deal. Uni pasta is alright, not a whole lot of uni though. Tea not too sweet. Lots of drinks option. Fruit or milk tea kind of drinks. Staff is ok. Could be friendlier though. Didn't even get a single smile. We parked in the 888 parking & walked a little bit. If you want closer, you can park on the street.
Just happened to stop here for the first time and it was so good. The sushi quality is amazing and delicious. It was like butter in your mouth. I would definitely stop again for some good sushi.

What a gem! Came here for dinner on Friday night and food is great! Chutoro nigiri - Fresh, generous cut. Definitely a bit pricey but that's to be expected of chutoro cut. It was so good we did 2 orders! Tuna roll - Very good too, generous with tuna filling Deluxe uni pasta - Wow, very creamy and uni-y. It does get very rich so recommend 2 people sharing. I was fully almost halfway into the dish because of how rich and creamy it was. Service is pretty quick and ambiance can get pretty loud. We came on Friday night and there was a big party at a different table so it did get loud but thankfully we still got seated immediately. Will return again. read more

TL;DR - delicious sushi and great service, would recommend and come back again! FOOD/DRINK: *watermelon green tea: super delicious, exactly what my friend wanted. there was little watermelon bits in it and she also added boba. not too sweet & very refreshing. 5/5 *fresh milk w/strawberry: not too sweet & super creamy in texture. i would definitely recommend this for kids! 5/5 *uni pasta: this was my 1st time trying Uni and it was so yummy. so creamy and delicious, it kinda has an egg taste to it. we shared this portion and still had leftovers, very filling :) would come back for this! 5/5 *fresh blue crab rolls: also a 1st timer for this. i actually enjoyed it, the fresh taste of crab and it's so filling. 4/5 SERVICE: the people here are amazing!! so friendly and welcoming. 5/5 OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: *u can either park on the side of the street in front of the restaurant or there's a huge parking lot a few steps away. it does get crowded in that area though *there's plenty of seating inside but i can see it getting full quick read more

This place is the real deal. Not only is the sushi amazing but their udon and ramen are incredible too. Nothing flashy, just high quality ingredients and high calibre prep. They make you feel at home and if you become a regular like me they treat you well. They will be back open soon and can't wait to go back! read more

My husband and I wanted to celebrate the end of the week so we decided to treat ourselves and get a lil sushi goodness this past Friday. We ordered the following (prices as of 3/2024 on Doordash) Deluxe Tray Sashimi - 14 pieces, sushi - 12 pieces, sushi roll - 24 pieces $95.59 My husband and I enjoy sushi from time to time and we quite enjoyed this party tray to ourselves haha. The sashimi was fresh, I loved the cuts and size of each piece. The only thing was the small octopus, although I enjoyed the soft texture, it was pretty fishy tasting and left an after taste. I wish the sushi rice was a little bit more flavorful, but that's okay - the fish were the star of the show! Tmi, but I love me some sashimi/ sushi but sometimes it doesn't love me. This place passed the test and all is well ;) All in all, fresh, delicious, and quality sushi! I'll def be back to try more! read more

Stopped by for the lunch special (M-F, $17.99), which was a great deal for the portion size and the set choices. I got the Uni Pasta, Salmon Roll, and Green Tea. Uni pasta for lunch doesn't actually have uni pieces, but it does taste like uni, the noodles are perfectly al dente, and the cream sauce is delicious, so no complaints here! The salmon roll was an actual roll (not just maki with only salmon inside) with avocado and thinly sliced crunchy cucumber. The green tea was iced and sweetened - not too sweet, so it was refreshing. Service was efficient but nothing really stood out. I like that they let you order lunch specials to-go (extra $1, but still worth it)! read more

It was Christmas Eve and my sister decided to take me out to eat sushi!!! A small and calm quiet place but the fish is so good and fresh! The staff is very nice and checks up on you pretty often. I ordered a sushi platter for Thanksgiving, and they were open for pickup on the holiday. There's a restroom located in the back. The sushi primarily consisted of California roll-style pieces. The platter appeared a bit smaller than depicted in the photos on Facebook. Overall, it was decent. They were fast to respond to text messages! read more
I came back here again with hubby because I thought this is another good place for sushi as well as supporting small business. The food was good, but the service this time around wasn't. It was dinner time on a pre thanksgiving night and this place was opened, so we went in. They have a few regulars who went there for dinner that night. We were seated before those two parties. After seating us, the waitress attended the other parties who came after us. What made me upset was that they attended to those two parties, took their order, gave them their drinks while we had to flag the waitress down so we can order. After we ordered, we were once again neglected. The food came out for the other party that came after us when we simply asked for two glasses of ice water. It took them 10 minutes and I again had to flag them down for ice water. Like I want to come back but I don't want to come back and experience this all over again. Service is not by FIFO, it's by recognizing your faces and your spending amount. read more
This is the first sushi restaurant I've been to that does not have bar seating. The interior is different from your typical sushi restaurant but don't let that deter you! Fish was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The rice was a bit on the dry side. Toro roll was scrumptious and mercifully not drowning in sauce which my husband and I appreciated. We also liked that the fish were not served cold but at a decent temperature. Service was great, we never had to ask for our hot teas to be refilled during our meal. On a whim, visited this restaurant for lunch. At 12:40pm, we were the only customers, so service was good. A couple of hits and misses though. Misses: My hot green tea never came, which was fine. I told them to cancel it halfway through our meal. The uni pasta was underwhelming. Hits: The nigiri was delicious. Super fresh. They seem very conscious of their customer's dining experience. We ordered hand rolls and when we didn't eat one quickly, the staff told us we should eat it soon otherwise the nori would not be crispy. (Good advice). Salmon collar was as expected. The sushi rice was very good! All in all, a pleasant dining experience. Possibly a jewel for some customers. read more

Came here for lunch on a Thursday and was very impressed!! Their $17.99 lunch special (Monday-Friday, 11:00AM-3:30PM) is a STEAL!! For my set, I chose the truffle mushroom pasta, salmon roll, and green tea. I also ordered the uni pasta and truffle salmon roll. Everything was 5/5 for me when evaluating price, quality, and flavor. The pasta sauces were savory and delicious, the raw salmon was fresh, and the rolls were a good portion size. Service was fast and attentive. There were plenty of seating inside the restaurant. I would come back again! Parking: the restaurant is located on the side of a main street, but there is plaza parking where you can easily walk over. read more

Finally got to try this spot! I thought it was going to be similar to the on the go sushi places where the fish were going to be mediocre...BUT they exceeded my expectations! I stopped by after work, and ordered their uni pasta lunch special with salmon roll I think bc I got it to go it was 18.99 including a black tea, which is a steal! The uni pasta was actually really good they didn't add the uni itself but you can definitely taste the uni in the sauce? Lol I'm horrible at explaining but it was good! I had leftovers and sautéed the rest with mushrooms and added cheese to the pasta at home...yesssss try it! The salmon roll, biiih was so good! It was definitely fresh and there was also avocado and cucumbers in it. I was expecting a small thing of mashed salmon with cucumbers since it's a lunch combo but they really gave the whole shebang! The black tea was fresh brewed and lightly sweetened and it hit the spot! The service was friendly, and there was maybe two full tables at the restaurant when I came in, other than that super chill vibes. Lunch Combo:($17.99+tax n tips) A+B+C items A). Salmon Roll: 2 Not a sushi rice level, dry as not able to hold up the sushi ingredients. Rice n fish are falling apart while trying to p/u sushi pc. B). Uni Pasta: 3 Creamy yet not thick enough to give pasta any rich flavors. It's simply milky soupy spaghetti noodles. Nothing else. C). Green tea: 4 Serving lady looks like the owners wife. My boyfriend wanted sushi for his birthday, so I was looking for a place that serves quality sushi in a more aesthetically pleasing way for the occasion. I am very happy with my choice of this restaurant--the sushi was fresh and delicious, the portion size and pricing were fair, and the service was quick and friendly. We got the special sushi boat for ~$90 and it was decorated so prettily! Each cut of fish was generously large and thick, resulting in us being very full and satisfied afterward. Everything was phenomenal, except for the geoduck. I actually have been wanting to try it, but I think it is just not for me, unfortunately. We ordered the kizami wasabi in addition to the fresh wasabi. It reminded me a bit of chimichurri sauce because of how herby it tasted; it was good, but I preferred the fresh wasabi, which I felt did not compete with the flavors of the fish but rather, elevated and emphasized it. We received two king salmon nigiri on the house and they were delicious as well. This sushi restaurant is truly a hidden gem. After reading the positive reviews on Yelp, I decided to give it a try, and I am really happy that I did. The meal was delicious, and as if that wasn't enough, toward the end of the meal, the owner personally came by our table to ask how we were enjoying everything. It's not every day you come across staff, let alone the owner, who go the extra mile to connect with their customers. That personal touch won me over, and I will continue supporting this restaurant in the future. Now, let's talk about the food. I tried the sashimi 20pc, California roll, salmon roll, dragon roll, and spicy seafood udon noodle. The fish was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The sushi rice was soft and flavorful, making each bite a perfect harmony of taste and texture. The udon noodles in the seafood soup was the perfect chewy texture and the flavor was delicious. The soup also included 2 imitation crab logs, 2 shrimp, and half a soft egg. The overall quality and taste of the dishes were 10/10 delicious. The only thing that caught me off guard was the dragon roll. I'm used to the dragon roll being some sort of eel roll but at this restaurant, it's a California roll with an added touch of tamago (egg). Despite the unexpected twist, it was still pretty good. Next time, I'm definitely going to re-order everything, and also try the uni pasta. P.S.
