I came back! I love this place so much. I had to get the seared albacore role. I love that charred flavor on the fish. If you like spicy this one definitely has a noticeable kick. I also tried the Aloha Roll for the first time. It was beautiful and so yummy. I love that he has so many different sauces and flavors for so many rolls. The Aloha Roll had a light sauce I hadn't had here before and it was a surprising treat. I ordered the unagi sushi. I love so much that it comes with sliced avocado. This place has the best unagi: perfectly soft with some crisp from the bbq. Service is always so good and the chef always gives a friendly wave and thank you.

The miso soup was unreal, the most flavorful umami bomb I've ever had! The bento box combo was the perfect way to try a bit of everything, and even the salad was well balanced. The staff were friendly and quick. I sat at the sushi bar, but there are a few tables as well.

A cute little spot near my house, so nice to get sushi whenever I'm craving for it. I ordered the albacore delight, I love the onion which gave it some texture. It's mild spicy cause it has spicy tuna in the roll then topped with some siracha. I love a side of tempura to go with my sushi. My favorite appetizer. I wish they gave some grated radish for my tempura sauce. I requested the salmon sushi to be seared and they were nice enough to do that. Overall decent sushi for a great price. Service is great and quick! Very friendly server. I love a spot that has plenty of parking.

Food, service again were excellent. If you're in the neighborhood give this little place a try. If you are driving down San Gabriel blvd and blink you will pass this place. Save them some money, if you would like to do take out, call the restaurant, save them all the DoorDash fees! This place will not disappoint.

Great shushi little spot! Can't believe I drove by it so many times without checking it out. Food: The sushi there was really good. Everything was fresh and flavorful. My favorites there are the fresh eel (6pc cut), yellowtail (6pc cut) and the jalapeno bombs. Their hand rolls long with the other rolls were really good too. They sell alcohol there (saki, Sapporo, Asahi, somu, soda, etc). Service: It was great as we were welcomed in as soon as we walked in. The food did take a little bit long to come out as they only had one chef on deck (Sunday evening) when I went but no biggie. Ambiance: Its small but cozy yet simple. They have a small bar area to eat at and several tables (seat up 2-4 people but they can combine a small table for up to 6). They have restrooms there and a couple of TV's to watch some sports. The server there was chill, very nice guy. I will definitely be coming here more often to try their ramen + raw oysters next as I like this spot not only for their food but just for the simple vibe. I would recommend checking them out.

Fast service? 4/5 Food 4/5 Ambiance is cute! 4/5 We got a bento box and some shrimp tempura. And edamame. The bento combo we chose California roll. Every item was 3.5/5 or 4/5! We didn't eat any raw fish (sushi items) today. Place is cute! It's been around with different names, I'm sure a few ownership changed the last 10 years or so. Will try again next time!

We got the Sashimi plate, Hot Date Night Roll, and Crispy rice with tuna. All the food was so delicious! The Sashimi was so buttery and just melted in your mouth. Service was super nice but the food took awhile to come out. We will probably not dine in again and just order for pickup instead in the future, but we will definitely be back. It's a small cozy restaurant, only seats about 6-7 groups of 2-4 at the tables and there's some seats at the bar.

I genuinely look forward to having lunch here whenever I'm around. The quality if the sushi is so fresh. You can't go wrong with any of the sushi combos (it's such a good deal and they don't skimp on the fish) - this time I got the baja roll which was great. If you're trying to decide on an app, the gyoza are very yummy. The service here is amazing and the staff is so sweet. The restraunt itself is cozy and very clean. Come support!!

I've lived in the area for several years and just now have discovered this spot. It's in the middle of a plaza with a small parking lot attached. We stopped by on a Friday night. It was packed when we arrived but only waited for 10 minutes. There was a homeless person about 10 feet from the entrance but in front of another storefront. The restaurant itself is small too. Maybe 4 or 5 tables with minimal bar seating. There was one person making sushi that evening and one server. I assume there was one other person working the kitchen. With the limited staff, our orders still came out in a timely manner and the quality of the dishes were very good. We ordered mixed tempura, albacore delight roll, what's that roll, and crispy tuna rice. All were delicious. My favorite was the albacore delight roll. For the quality and amount of food, it was also reasonably priced. Only downside is the limited parking and their bathroom door didn't close all the way. There's a weird door stopper that prevents it from closing fully, which is a problem. Other than that, it was an enjoyable dinner.

Talk about a hidden Gem!!! This place should be a must date night or a friends sushi night. The Baja Roll, Dragon Roll, are a must!! The house salad was light and flavorful. Now the star of the night was the Chef and Alex our waiter!! i will be coming back over and over again

Came here for date night. It's been a while since we first visited this place and we still remember how great our first experience was, a year or two after the pandemic. We've been dreaming of coming back since then. So finally, we did. We got lucky that we were a bit early for a Friday night, 5:30PM and was able to be seated right away. When we left, there was a line of people outside. Hubs got the tuna roll and I got the 2-item bento box with salmon teriyaki and sushi. Hubs said his roll was a bit overwhelming and the fish was on the dry side, but I loved mine... the box came with miso soup (which was oddly on a sweeter side), rice, and salads. We also ordered baked mussels and Sapporo to complete the experience. Looking forward ti our next sushi craving and visit. Check out my video highlight on ig ot tiktok. @jhennybventures

Came here on a Tuesday and was 1 of 2 people in this small restaurant. It's a pretty cute little spot and pretty comfy. We ended up having to wait 10-15 minutes to order because the waiter and the chef were talking about something and didn't pay attention to us. Was a bit weird since we were waiting for quite some time trying to waive them down but we weren't in a hurry so not that big of a deal. For the food it was good, here is what we got. Miso Soup - It's a classic miso soup. Nothing special but it was comforting. (4/5) What's that roll - It's a creamy roll with a lot of different fish. Personally I liked it, and there was a lot going on. (4/5) Sashimi Plate - This was $36 for 18 pieces which honestly is pretty good. It came with I think 5 different types of fish, some including tuna/salmon (I don't know what the rest way and it's not listed on the menu) Pieces seem fresh and overall it was presented well. Thought it was pretty good. (4.5/5) Overall it's a small little sushi spot with pretty decent fish. I'd say its above average in terms of quality and reasonable pricing. We spent $62 for 2 people and left reasonably full. Parking - They share a small lot but they have a few spots that are specific for O' Sushi customers.

    Chirashi bowl
    Larissa P.

O' Sushi is such a hidden gem. I almost want to gatekeep it, but the owner is so sweet I felt like I needed to do my part and leave a review to help them out. This is one of those spots that feels like you can be a regular at with the perfect combination of relaxed atmosphere, amazing quality, and good prices. It's not cheapy cheap, but the price for the quality is totally reasonable and worth it. We have been back twice within two weeks, and couldn't stop thinking about the chirashi bowl after the first time we had it. We each got our own the second time we went back. My bf (a raw salmon connoisseur) said this was probably the best salmon he's had. So buttery. The fish quality is incredible. Yellowtail is pillowy and falls apart in your mouth. The mackerel, the tuna, the octopus--everything just tastes so clean and is so tender. I love the little yuzu sauce they put on top of the yellow tail. To put price perspective, the perfect filling amount for us was one chirashi bowl each and one roll. I probably could have done without the roll and been fine, but with that + my iced green it came out to about $83. Under $90 for a quality sushi lunch or dinner that leaves you super satisfied is pretty good deal to come by these days.

If you are looking for sashimi, head to the back of the store where they have conveniently packaged fish sold by the pound, and they will happily slice it for you. Or, if you are in a hurry, you can grab their freshly made sushi rolls from the refrigerators. On my visit, I picked up ahi tuna, salmon, and yellowtail sashimi, along with California rolls and tuna rolls. Every piece of fish was incredibly fresh with a buttery texture and amazing flavor. The quality of the fish and the perfectly seasoned sushi rice were so good that I barely needed any soy sauce or wasabi.
