We stopped in hoping to grab a few appetizers to find the wait to be quite long. Asked the hostess for local suggestions, which she was kind enough to help with. We left and as we were walking away she chased us down to say she had a table coming up soon. Very above and beyond. We ordered a lot of appetizers to share. Everything was fantastic. I was here many years ago and it is as good as the first time.

I would say this is a must visit while in Savannah. The atmosphere caters to a lot of people, including me. Both the upstairs (Olde Pink House) and the downstairs tavern open at 5pm, and I was the only one in line outside for the Tavern, so I walked down the stairs and went inside. Upon entering..there were already a few customers sitting in tables. I guess they must have come from the rear stairs after entering the pink house first. I tried to do that same thing, but was told to go outside and wait on the sidewalk by the steps. Either way, I came alone, so I automatically sat at the bar right when i entered. The bartender was super informative and not intrusive at all. I tried the planters punch. How can you go wrong ordering that when Planter's is already in the name of the business? I asked for the biscuits because the 2nd person to come up to me, a waiter who took my order, didn't ask if I wanted any. They came out, and they are super soft, fluffy, and delicious. Add a little butter, and they are even better. For my entree, I tried the grilled pork tenderloin. It's not the number one dish most people would order, but it seemed substantial without breaking the bank. I subbed the sweet potato for twice baked potato and kept the collards. This tenderloin is small but so tender and delicious and comes with a brown sauce. The waiter can also add fresh cracked pepper to your dish. So I added that. This dish really hit the spot right after my cocktail.

You can barely see but the food is amazing. Service is above and beyond.

Upon walking up to The Olde Pink House you just get a flashback of what happiness was seeing your parents together. At least that's how it felt to me. My Husband and I were celebrating my work anniversary and his birthday in Savannah. I had seen how romantic and scrumptious the food looks at Planters Tavern, that's exactly what I wanted to start off our vacation. When you walk into the The Olde Pink House you're just probably taking it all in how beautiful all the decorations look. You can tell a lot of work and thought was put into it. Once you begin walking down the spiral staircase you'll start seeing these beautiful candlelit tables everywhere and hopefully someone playing the piano. At least when we were there around 10 p.m. we had back to back songs that brought back tons of memories. It was very fitting. The service is one of a kind. Thank you so much to Meredith for taking care of us, appreciated her recommendations. We ordered the fried chicken with macaroni and cheese and pulled pork sliders with a sweet potato with pecan vanilla butter. Meredith brought us fresh biscuits and three different dipping sauces for the fried chicken and everything was cooked to perfection. We ordered I believe called the planter's punch. The flavor was exactly what we needed along with the music being played during a perfect meal. Thank you also to the awesome bartender who not only made delicious cocktails but also spoke baseball with us. I highly recommend there's also two separate rooms you may reserve downstairs for extra privacy. We sat between the fireplace and bar and it was perfect for us two. The huge candle on our table just added to the ambiance. Thank you Meredith!! We appreciate all of your recommendations and hospitality we'll definitely be back again.

Planters Tavern is right down the basement of the olde pink house and it doesn't require any reservations. A perfect way to experience the menu with a beautiful good vibes. Tavern offers beautiful live music with piano and this is where me and my girlfriend fell in love just while we found this randomly on a Christmas Eve. The food here is my all favorite in the entire America. The rich taste, presentation and diversity are among some of the things that make it a special place. I love their blackened oyster, salmon, flounder, ravioli etc... you can't go wrong with any of the dish. To celebrate our togatherness we recently went again and we order blackened oyester, crispy flounder, salmon and sweet potato ravioli. It was like heaven. We asked the server seat us where we seated back in 24th December and he was very kind and also offered us after self guided tour of the entire building right after dinnner. What an experience! Love planters tavern at Olde pink house!

Love this elegant, historic space adjacent to the Olde Pink House. Open and serving late, same delicious menu as OPH but more casual ambience. Biscuits that come out first were like the ghost of your grandma must have showed up for work in the kitchen. Filet with a perfect green peppercorn sauce is a solid choice. Standout sides of sweet potatoes and bacon mash. Nice wine list. A gentle, cool space to end a hot day of sightseeing in Savannah.

Such a Savannah experience! Tucked below the iconic Old Pink House, with a separate line to get seated. But, once you get in... you feel like you've stepped back in time.

Stopped in twice on our last visit to Savannah. First we stopped for a quick adult beverage at the bar. The staff were so nice, the environment so cozy and the menu so interesting, we made reservations and came back the next night for dinner. The lighting is very low and we did need to use a light to see the menu. But once that is done, it makes for a very cozy dining experience. They even have a couple of small rooms behind the fireplace. The décor is nautical. Staff are dressed professionally. The menu is eclectic. I can't say if it was clean or not as it was too dark to tell! :D There is no parking here, but a garage is about a block away. We walked from our hotel as we were staying nearby. We very much enjoyed our dinner and would definitely return on our next visit to Savannah. Whether you are looking to enjoy a drink in an atmosphere more upscale than a sports bar, a romantic dinner for two, or a curated menu, this could be the place for you.

Went to the downstairs tavern attached to the Olde Pink House prior to dinner reservation upstairs. It was very busy but we were able to get a seat at the bar after waiting a few minutes. Service was fantastic. Charlene, our bartender helped my girlfriend with an impromptu wine tasting to get the perfect wine. My cocktail was delicious. Ambiance was terrific with lit fireplaces and live piano music. Decorated well for Christmas, which really added to the evening. Felt like walking into an old tavern from the past. Full menu from upstairs is available. As we arrived we were checked in upstairs and when our table was ready the upstairs staff came and get us. Highly recommend!

The online menu photos looked incredible (though I still side-eye those famous PB&J wings--maybe next time!). We chose the Treylor Park Double Wide Diner for breakfast and were thrilled we did. Pro tip: Head there early on a Sunday morning! Alcohol can't be served until after 11 a.m., so the place is surprisingly quiet and easy to get into--no crowds or long waits. We were seated right away, and our server was incredibly friendly and attentive from start to finish. My husband went for The Chupacabra--a massive chimichanga-style breakfast burrito stuffed with eggs, sausage, onions, cheddar cheese, fresh pico de gallo, Sriracha, and chipotle crème fraîche, served with cheesy grits on the side. I ordered the Brunch Nachos, which sounded fun as an "appetizer"... big mistake (or the best kind of mistake!). It was a towering plate of waffle fries loaded with cheddar cheese, bacon, sausage gravy, fried chicken, and topped with sunny-side-up eggs. Both portions were enormous and absolutely delicious--we had to pace ourselves to make a dent in them! Everything tasted fantastic, with bold flavors and that perfect Southern comfort twist Treylor Park is known for. We're already planning to stop by again whenever we're near one of their locations--highly recommend for a fun, hearty breakfast!

Gutter ball trash…read more Insanely overpriced for the trash you are served. Tourist trap from the number of Yelp reviews. This had to have changed hands over the years. The food was absolutely worthless. Seriously, McDonald's is better than this in every way. Photos to prov The ketchup bottle? Disgusting looking. They definitely refill these "do not refill" bottles. The hash browns? Look at the photos--they exploded once a fork hit them. The kitchen was incredibly slow, which resulted in barely warm food. Check out the barely cooked bacon. To top it off? A bathroom door that won't close the first or fifth time because a screw is stripped in the wood. Stupid brown "napkins" from the janitor closet were a nice touch. Straws that barely open in the plastic they're wrapped in, again because they are so cheap. Sausage that was cooked previously, more than likely. The eggs--no complaints there. The toast? Probably leftover from a local prison. The pancakes? I wonder if they were microwaved. I wouldn't go back if someone offered me free food. DO NOT GO HERE. Look at the photos and trust me.

They did have a sign saying they are open 24 hours as well. There are plenty of signs throughout the restaurant when you walk in letting you know of upcharges (because of the egg shortages) and if you're paying with a card, which we were fine with cause we saw it before we sat down. We were greeted with friendly faces and sat pretty quickly. It was pretty busy in there! 2 elderly women serving and 1 cook. It took about 45mins-1hour to get our food, but it was pretty good for a breakfast sandwich especially the bread it was served on. It was hot and ready. We understand when it get's busy like that it'll take a little longer to be served. The only issue we had was my boyfriend never got a refill on water nor I on our coffee. Again, I'll say because of how busy it was in there. I would come back and try this place again. I loved the nostalgic setting this place has and hope that they keep it like this as time goes on and repairs/updates needed. Truly don't see many diner's like this anymore. The bathrooms are for customers only & we did use them. They were clean as well & cleanliness inside was well-maintained.
