Cool Atmosphere!! Very convenient to Forsyth Park and parking around is free on the street. Food was quaint- flavors nice, but only recommend putting more jam on the burgers (add on is 85cents). Cheese curds were delicious; just very small portions. Overall, glad we visited- just would say increase portions for prices

This place might not be on the list of places to eat when you're in Savannah but it absolutely should be! Been coming here 4 years, multiple times per year. Im sad this is first time. Missed opportunity. Come here for great Americana food with southern hospitality experience like none other. What an amazing place! All American food and vibe, with World War I & II promo posters, plane photos and more. Based in an American Legion hall, its an old fashioned style diner. USA flavors all the way, with specialty burgers, hotdogs & fries. Plus amazing sandwich selection. Theres a bar inside in next room, where you can get a drink and bring here if you want. Betty Bombers is diner/soda shop vibes. The service is southern hospitality at its finest, and the food is great! Split a victory sized steak & cheese fries, which is the best thing i never knew i needed in my life! Hot turkey club sandwich, so generously sized we had leftovers. Milkshakes are absolutely amazing! Highly recommend! We took ours to go, and walked around Forsythe Park with them which is super close by.

What a cool place! In the birthplace ok the mighty 8th Air Force. Love this stuff! Cant stop taking pics of the inside. It's small but so cool. Our server was so quick and friendly. Ordered the larvae mint chip shake. Ginormous! Tasted as great as it looked. Also had the pulled pork fries and the Philly steak. Very much enjoyed it. We'll be back.

BB aims to elevate traditional bar food (burgers, wings, etc.) and serve you the freshest version possible. We enjoyed the burger, dog, and onion rings. All were served fresh, hot, and well seasoned. We'd ask that BB please consider a more efficient order and delivery system. Solution: hang an "Order here" sign by the front register, have two servers on the floor, and set up a self-serve water/place setting/condiment station. We (along with a few other patrons) were beyond confused as to where/when to sit, where to order, and whom to ask for assistance. One server was working the entire floor and doing her best to keep up with *post-ordering requests.

We had such a phenomenal accidental lunch here! We absolutely loved the cheese curds! The milkshake was exceptional and my burger with blue cheese was out of this world. The decor is excellent! It makes you feel like you are taking a step back in time. My friend loved their loaded fries! There was an array of seating, from booths to tables. It did appear that only two people were working and they were slammed, but it did not bother us. Highly recommend stopping in here!

Savannah is a city filled with diversity, history, great architecture and fabulous food options, and with many options, but you won't find one like this! Located in an old VFW building near Forsyth Park and if you didn't know about it, you'd walk right past. And that would be a shame. as it boasts a truly unique ambiance. Because of it's location inside the VFW, the decor is geared to WW2 military mainly, with old posters, models of vintage airplanes, and other military hardware. You won't find anything on the menu in epicurian magazines or on cooking shows, this is good, well prepared basic items. The wait staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable, and the place is clean. It's a fun place that you should check out!

I love this place. It's like I went through a time warp. It's got that Johnny Rockets vibe but authentic. It's not pretending to be old. There are rifles in the windows and a bayonet I think. You can sit at the counter, order at the cash register or sit down and get table service. It's a great place if you love burgers and fries. I ordered the in house veggie burger. It's made of white beans. It was pretty good. As my side I ordered fries. The fries are amazing!!!!! My lunch mates ordered Philly cheese steak looking sandwiches that are served with what looks like nacho cheese. If you are hungry or like to split dishes this is the best place to go. I could have split my burger and fries with someone. It was definitely enough for at least two people. It's a fun place and I'm excited to Go back and try something else.

    Mexican chocolate milkshake

Best milkshakes in Savannah! REAL ice cream (unlike Checkers). Especially the Mexican chocolate one! Definitely worth checking out.

Food was typical American burger, hotdog and fries and tasted good, but service was SO SLOW!!!!!!!!!!! There weren't that many in the restaurant and we waited about 35-40 minutes for our food. It doesn't take that long to cook a cheeseburger and a hotdog (both with fries). The waiter excuse was they only had 2 people in the kitchen. Again, there weren't many people eating and two people in the kitchen should be able to get out these simple dishes in less than 30 minutes. Won't be back (whenever we visit Savannah again).

After capturing several ghosts in Savannah, I found myself in desperate need of a proper meal, a…read morestrong drink, and a place where the spirits would remain in their glasses. That search led me to The Olde Pink House--a magnificent historic mansion dating back to 1771, now home to one of Savannah's most memorable restaurants. The décor is beautiful, with antique furnishings, fireplaces, elegant woodwork, chandeliers, and enough historical character to make any ghost hunter feel immediately at home. The building is surprisingly large, with numerous dining rooms, each decorated and arranged differently. Exploring it feels almost like wandering through a well-preserved haunted mansion--though thankfully, the staff were much friendlier than the ghosts I had recently captured. The food was excellent, and everyone in our party enjoyed what they ordered. I'm not usually much of a beer drinker, but I tried the Hostess City, a craft beer brewed exclusively for The Olde Pink House, and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Our server was wonderful, and we were even able to exchange ghost stories with them. We all had a good laugh, although I'm fairly certain one of the portraits nearby was laughing along with us. We arrived dressed entirely in black, and not a single person batted an eye. In Savannah, this is apparently considered perfectly respectable evening attire--or perhaps everyone simply assumed we were attending a funeral for one of the restless dead. After dinner, we asked whether we could explore the other sections of the restaurant, and we were told it would be no problem. We were able to visit the different dining rooms and examine the antiques and objects respectfully without disturbing the other guests. Be sure to visit the bar downstairs, Planters Tavern. It has a wonderfully haunted atmosphere, with brick walls, old-world décor, and a beautiful fireplace that must be especially inviting during the winter months. The basement's fireplaces were reportedly part of the home's original kitchen, which only adds to the feeling that the room remembers far more than it lets on. The Olde Pink House offers excellent food, beautiful surroundings, friendly service, and just enough supernatural atmosphere to keep a ghost hunter interested. I arrived looking for somewhere to recover from the night's haunting. I left well fed, pleasantly spirits-laden, and only mildly concerned that one of the ghosts may have followed me home.

I managed about ten, and everything was well prepared, generous, and full of flavor. The communal-table atmosphere makes the meal feel less like dining at a restaurant and more like being welcomed into a very large Savannah family dinner. Been here for both dinner and lunch. All this said, I think my approach to this review is comprehensive. With regard to food, I think they have a decent (not expansive) selection of food, which I think lends itself to quality. They do most things really well. This said, I do think there is inconsistency based on staff at the restaurant. On one occasion they have accommodated a request, and on another I was denied the exact same request. I found this frustrating. On one occasion I've also seen management talk down to staff here, which is a big no no for me. All people (especially staff) are due respect and this rubbed me the wrong way. This was an isolated incident but it definitely made my dining experience uncomfortable. Especially because I was getting excellent service from the server!!! I've always had quality service from servers here. In the future, I would come to Rhett for convenience as a hotel guest (the hotel is lovely), but would likely not spend my money if I wasn't staying at the hotel. Overall- it's good food, decent ambiance... but there are soooo many good options in Savannah. You have to be exceptional to stand out in that city.

The refund came through exactly as he said it would. To be clear, the food on my visit genuinely missed, and I'm not pretending otherwise. But Tyler responded publicly, owned it, and followed through completely. That kind of accountability is rare, and it's what earned the bump. Credit where it's due on the space, too -- the ambiance is genuinely great. Warm, candle-lit dining room, an open kitchen, a well-stocked bar, and a covered patio that had a real buzz to it. It's a spot that looks and feels like somewhere you want to be, which is exactly why I'd give the kitchen another shot based on how the owner runs this place. --- Original review (2 stars): Disappointing birthday dinner. Came in for my birthday and left underwhelmed. Our server Troy was the one bright spot -- professional and attentive all night. Caesar salad: Several bitter pieces of lettuce, and no black pepper offered or available. Faroe Island salmon: Overly buttery like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. The shishito cream sauce was way too acidic -- tasted like uncooked wine or vinegar. Crispy rice cakes were bland and a strange pairing (rice blocks with salmon?). The baby bok choy was decent until the sauce drowned it out. Braised beef short rib: Tender but flavorless. The mashed potatoes tasted old, not fresh that evening. To top it off, my wife had arranged ahead of time for the birthday dessert to be brought out -- the message never reached Troy, so that moment never happened. Troy deserved better than what the kitchen sent out.
