Visited Treylor Park last night around 10:30 PM on a Thursday with a group of eight. We wanted to try their pizza and grab something after a long shift. The atmosphere looked really cool and like a great place to relax, so we decided to sit outside. My only complaint about the outdoor area was the smell--it definitely gave us some New Orleans vibes, and not necessarily in a good way. When we went to say hello to the bartender, the first thing we were told was that we needed to order soon because the kitchen closed at 11. Then our server greeted us by going through everything they were out of, which unfortunately felt like half the menu. Our group still ordered and made the best of it, but the way the experience started definitely took away from it. I completely understand that we arrived late and they were getting ready to close, but maybe instead of starting with "here's what we don't have," it could be presented as, "Since it's late and we're getting close to closing, let me tell you what we still have available." Same situation, but a much more welcoming experience. Overall, the service was okay and the atmosphere inside looked fun. I ordered the footlong hot dog, and it was one of the most unique hot dogs I've ever had. Instead of serving it on one bun, they split it across two buns with different toppings on each half. One side was topped with sloppy joe, while the other had chili and relish. It was a fun idea that let you enjoy two different flavor combinations in one meal. My only real criticism was the speed of service. There were only three occupied tables when we visited, yet it took about 35 minutes for the first plate to arrive. The other thing worth mentioning is that the menu varies quite a bit between locations. This restaurant's menu is heavily focused on breakfast. While the food itself was good, it would be nice if the menus were more consistent across locations. Having to research which location serves which items takes away from the convenience of a unified brand. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would definitely return for a quick lunch. What a great place to come eat some fast food southern diner food. Their service here is great with that southern hospitality feel so guests are always welcome. Food is great I'd recommend the PB&J wings plus the blueberry hot chicken waffles that were delish. This location is newer and has a nice diner feel to it. Food was okay. I ordered the diner club sandwich, bone dry, no mayo, sliced American cheese, deli meat and bacon. Some tomato and lettuce but just a generic meal. Waffles fries were nice and cooked just right. We waited 20 minutes when tables were open all over the restaurant. They must have been way under staffed but service was pleasant once we sat. The inside is a really cool to be sitting in what looks like an old airstream with a lot of old photos and a typical diner atmosphere. Look at the photos--they exploded once a fork hit them. The kitchen was incredibly slow, which resulted in barely warm food. Check out the barely cooked bacon. To top it off? A bathroom door that won't close the first or fifth time because a screw is stripped in the wood. Stupid brown "napkins" from the janitor closet were a nice touch. Straws that barely open in the plastic they're wrapped in, again because they are so cheap. Sausage that was cooked previously, more than likely. The eggs--no complaints there. The toast? I was really excited about trying out this restaurant while visiting Savannah. We went early on Saturday morning. When we got there, we were told that there would be a weight of 45 minutes. We did notice that there were several open seats and seating at the bar that was empty. We asked if we could sit at the bar if it was first come first serve and the host just told us that it was not. We went ahead and put our name on the list, but decided to walk around and see if we could find another place that we could've gotten them too faster. The restaurant was not busy and there was not a line of people waiting so I was very confused on why there was a 45 minute wait. After walking around a little bit, we did get a text saying that our table was ready so we went back to the restaurant. We noticed that the exact same tables that were empty there the first time and the bar seating was still empty. I thought that was very odd. But we decided to go ahead and order. The service was very slow. We ended up waiting for almost an hour to get our food and we got a very basic breakfast. So as soon as the food came, I asked if we could get to go boxes because my friend and I needed to leave and had to be somewhere at a certain time. Still took a pretty long time to get the boxes and you would think that once she brought the boxes she would also give us a check. So I had to wait around for the check as well. So actually didn't end up eating inside the restaurant. I took it back to the Airbnb to eat to get ready to go to where we need to be. We got a plate each of shrimp and grits, chicken and waffle, and chicken and pancake tacos so we could make samplers. This was the way to go as three of the same of any of those would have been exhausting. The chicken and waffle are overloaded with sugar. The strawberry salsa in the chicken and pancake was brilliant. I really liked the shrimp and grits, but I would have liked more grits. The kids dishes are pretty straightforward. What a cool experience located right in the downtown area. We walked in on a Sunday morning around 745. We were the only patrons and the staff was wonderful. I really enjoyed the Low country.
